  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…
🏟 WHERE THE GRASS IS ALWAYS GREENER 🏟

    🎶So many QUESTIONS…🎶 “So Many Questions” – Side A 1995
    https://tinyurl.com/2p924w95

🏟 Dan always took pride in his work, even when times were DICEY,
He’d meet the press and speak with them…never known to be icy…
One news OUTLET did give him grief, he’d SQUASH it every time,
The FAINT hint of resentment? He refused that hill to climb…
And here today we see that he’s holding another session…
It’s all about the grass and he’s there ready to FIELD QUESTIONS! 🏟

For our guy Dan and his job as a STADIUM Groundskeeper? https://tinyurl.com/26ve334a A FIELD of dreams..And there’s our first clue…Stadium = FIELD…

So, another easy, breezy one today…if you follow the clues…And yes, they’re PLANTED right there in the dialogue…A little informal news conference, where we’re hearing a lot of QUESTIONS being asked…about the grounds on the FIELD, (noun) and Dan, the Groundskeeper… not one to let any grass grow under his feet…is easily FIELDing (verb) them. And there you go…WATER I tell ya…easy, breezy. The GROUNDSkeeper was happy to…FIELD QUESTIONS! https://tinyurl.com/548cydp9

The FIELD? The Cubs’ Wrigley… https://tinyurl.com/yc7m3dw5 …The reporter? Max Crawford, musician and scoreboard operator, sporting a Poi Dog Pondering T.. And the Groundskeeper? Dan Kiermaier https://tinyurl.com/23ybj3ec

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…and here’s to having all the answers we need in life…🏟🙋🏻‍♀️

    I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦
…AND I STAND FOR REFORM IN AMERICA 💔🇺🇸

  2. 🤷🏻‍♂️Losing badly out on the SQUASH court, with not even a FAINT OUTLET remaining, he knew it would get DICEY if he had to FIELD QUESTIONS after his loss…🤷🏻‍♂️

🤦🏻‍♂️ The situation DICEY, no OUTLET could he find,
The FAINT thought that he might compete…completely out of mind…
He’d have to SQUASH the whole idea, the need now to refreshen…
And he hoped he could get away not having to FIELD QUESTIONS! 🤦🏻‍♂️

  3. Great end of the week Saturday to make up for yesterday’s , to cap a great jumble week ! The anagrams were a fun OUTLET that none were DICEY and I didn’t feel FAINT cause I basically put a SQUASH on them ! They were very smooth ! The jumble had me a little stumped at first , but I was determined to find a word that had the QU in it ! So after I studied them , I saw the letters TION and a light came on with a QUESTION and the letters that were left was a FIELD that the lawncare guy maintained ! So he could FIELD QUESTIONS ! A great Saturday jumble ! Everyone have a great weekend !!!!!

  4. My early morning brain was only half-way there today. Saw the obvious QUESTIONS and then pored over what that first word was. Okay…it didn’t come immediately so I gave up (maybe too soon), but regardless (or irregardless), I had to do anagrams to find the first word. Those came easily enough, thankfully. Will move on now. Angela, thanks for your interesting commentary.

  5. Good morning. Easy words and fairly easy cartoon answer. I had to write down the letters to see the answer though. Once I saw the Q and U I had the second word but was left with Field which let me think I was wrong until I checked. My answer to that one is you can’t always hit a home run. I’ll take the win even though I feel let down. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

    • Home run! 👏🏻👏🏻! Nicely done…Good Morning, Paul. Be well and stay safe out there…🏟🙋🏻‍♀️

  6. 🧍🏻‍♂️He’s the man who helps keep the grass green,
A beautiful sight to be seen…
    It takes daily care,
    So he’s always there..
    Ensuring it maintains its sheen…🧍🏻‍♂️

🏟 We can marvel at how the grounds look,
Yet not realize the work that it took…
    The blood, sweat and tears,
    O’er the many years…
To get grass that’s one for the books! 🏟

🎋It’s Kentucky and Rye in a blend,
Covers the field from left to right end…
    Makes for beautiful grass,
    And reporters en masse…
Come to ask just how are the grounds tend! 🎋

👏🏻👏🏻 Our guy Dan takes great pride in his work,
As Groundskeeper the man never shirks…
    The job there at hand,
    To make the field grand…
Guaranteeing no bald patches lurk! 👏🏻👏🏻

🏟 Wrigley Field with its history deep,
Of course comes with the need for upkeep…
    It’s a Stadium found,
    To have beautiful grounds…
Proves you sow the right way…you will reap!🏟

  7. The one reporter is a Poi Dog, but it’s Max Crawford. Max is in charge of the scoreboards at Wrigley Field when he’s not heading up the horn section of Poi Dog Pondering or backing up Wilco. He and Frank do sport some great facial hair.

    • Tks, Jeff…*Max Crawford has been a revered and respected member of the Chicago entertainment community for over 30 years. He’s a sought after trumpet player and multi-instrumentalist who’s played with Wilco, Poi Dog Pondering, Archer Prewitt, The Waco Brothers, Scott Lucas & The Married Men, and even Willie Nelson. He’s also a long time bartender at the Metro — perhaps you’ve been served by him once or twice at a show. And oh, yeah! He also helps operate the scoreboard at Wrigley Field. He’s a Chicago treasure..🏟🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Hi Jumblers ! What a goregous day !
But for the jumble, I found it “DICEY” and was ready to “FAINT” then I was ready to “SQUASH” it this time but realized I didn’t have the light on so I couldn’t really see until I plugged it in the “OUTLET” ! And instead of a field of dreams It was a “FIELD of QUESTIONS” – so until tomorrow – enjoy this day ! 🌞
