Champagne being served, and those nice big swivel seats…Let’s face it, Folks, you get what you OVER-PAY for…But that flight attendant at the curtain, with his finger to his lips telling the people in coach to…what?…lower their voices I guess? Oh for FLYING out LOUD! Is he kidding? He definitely needs an ALTITUDE adjustment…and someone should tell him to come down off his HIGH horse, IMO…Boy, talk about HIGHfalutin! I’m sure that wouldn’t FLY with most people!
Anyway…bottom line. Today’s solve? If you look closely at Penny’s seatback screen, you can see l-r, John Goodman, Jeff Bridges, Steve Buscemi, and John Turturro in the bowling alley of “The Big Lebowski”, while on the screen of the person behind Nick, Samuel L Jackson and John Travolta are sitting in “Pulp Fiction”’s diner. Now those are some First Class graphics!

🌶 Talk of The GECKO Snack Company coming out with a SPICY HYBRID CASHEW had people shaking their heads…especially with the SKY-HIGH PRICES they were asking…🌶
🤷🏻♀️She watched the GECKO slither by, sitting in her HYBRID car,
While snacking on her favorite nut, the CASHEW…best by far…
She usually liked things SPICY, but the cashews hit the spot,
As she sat there and waited in the crowded parking lot…
Her thoughts drifted to getting home and mixing up some spices…
Although her stash was limited now due to the SKY-HIGH PRICES!🤷🏻♀️
Wow ! I had to climb over the hump on Wednesday hump.-day , to get the answers! The anagrams gave me no trouble except for my favorite peanut CASHEW ! I just couldn’t see it ! Now the jumble was very hard working , but after I got the letters and saw they were in a plane up HIGH and how expensive first class was with PRICES and they were in the SKY it came out SKY HIGH PRICES ! It did take some moving letters around , but I got it ! Another fine jumble to keep the week going of fun and entertaining Jumbles ! Everyone have a great Wednesday hump-day !!!
No stump-hump day….A blind solve followed by a few moments of exasperation unscrambling a couple of the anagrams….GECKO was problematic, and I was ready to back in CASHEW, when that light popped on !!
On the outside looking in really paints the perfect picture of riding in coach….maybe that scene was immortalized on a Seinfeld episode (I still enjoy watching). When asked by the Flight Attendant if they would like more champagne….he smugly tells her…”We’ll have more of everything” !! Ah, the delights of it all. Now must go back and view the intricacies of those cartoons that Angela spoke of.

On rich meals served along with aged wine…

They saw they didn’t rank…

In First Class no reason to conform…
To restrictions like those,
Who can’t pay through the nose…
And are treated at best quite lukewarm! 🙎🏻♂️
🗣So our couple were left with no choice,

Quick Jumble. SKY-HIGH PRICES was the obvious answer. But what causes them? Some of the shadow solutions may give a clue. If prices are high, we need to protest; we need to CRY, “HIGH SPIKES!”. The high prices are probably caused by a bunch of GYP-RICH SHEIKS. Pretty soon they will charge for you to take pictures out the plane’s window and they will raise those prices, too. SKY PICS HIGHER.
First Class Jumble as always this morning which is probably more than you can say for airline travel these days if news reports are true: lack of crew members, flight delays and yes, indeed sky high prices. Happy Wednesday all!
The gecko insurance co saved my solution of that anagram,and a virtual blind solve of the cartoon followed,even though my real newspapers were over 2 hrs late.
