  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…
🏥 WHEN THE MAIN PURPOSE IS TO GIVE TLC 🏥

🎶 Nights are long and dreams are cold..If they’re all you wake up to
But should you rise with crying eyes..then I’LL TAKE CARE OF YOU… I’ll be there, but you might not see me…IT’S NEVER EASY TO GET THROUGH…But when the laughter dies away….I’LL TAKE CARE OF YOU…🎶 “I’ll Take Care of You” – The Chicks 1998 https://tinyurl.com/444yaavd

🏥 Intensive Care…a SOCIAL place, although not one we’d pick,
The little NUGGET being you’re there only if you’re sick…
Of course the hospital staff…well they have ACCESS every day,
And SNAPPY are their responses dealing with those who stay…
They oft times IMPORT new blood…no pun I’m making here,
The NOVICE nurse is welcome, to be trained in critical care…
    Today’s subject…maybe not best…but great the need for services…
Of personnel in ICU’s ….for all “INTENSIVE” PURPOSES…🏥

…So this may just be the toughest rhyme I’ve written so far…not just in trying to meld the random given words to fit the theme, but in dealing with the theme itself. But…FOR ALL INTENTS AND PURPOSES, https://tinyurl.com/4kd94444 I tried my best…

I had this play on words the moment I laid eyes on it, and I’m thinking a number of you did also….And the quotation marks were the clincher…But to break it down…A hospital’s “Critical Care Unit” is the INTENSIVE Care Unit. And the dialogue about how business as usual went on while construction took place gave up PURPOSES…I guess you’d need to know the phrase in order to get the solve right off the bat, but what I didn’t know was that the pun that David’s making is oft times used by people. Incorrectly of course, but used just the same. Called an “eggcorn”, it seems to be a common mistake. https://tinyurl.com/26z7ch3m So I want to say that this one gave itself up either way… https://tinyurl.com/3pfa87ma”INTENSIVE” PURPOSES, indeed!

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind…and here’s to staying safe and healthy out there…🏥🙋🏻‍♀️

…And to all the dedicated medical personnel amongst our readers, I thank you…and I salute you. You are definitely Angels on earth…♥️

  3. 👍🏻 The SOCIAL Club was thrilled with the SNAPPY little NUGGET of information they were able to ACCESS, and even the NOVICE member, for all INTENTS AND PURPOSES, felt the IMPORT of it all…👍🏻

🍗“I want a Chicken NUGGET” , the child heard to say,
But ACCESS to them?…Mom unsure…he ate them every day…
She’d definitely be SNAPPY to cook him anything,
No NOVICE in a kitchen…any dish she def could bring…
She tried to IMPORT spices, hoping taste buds she might tweak,
To no avail… Comes down to food? Kid’s SOCIAL skills are weak
So what to do…resign herself? Keep with the chicken services?
And hope that soon he’ll outgrow it…for all INTENTS AND PURPOSES? 🍗

  4. For all INTENSIVE PURPOSES , this was not an easy fun jumble ! Missed four words and had a stumble jumble ! Need a clear mind for next weeks jumbles ! Everyone have a great Sunday !!!!’

    • Jim…No need to stress..it’s just a game! Wishing you a great day too! 🙋🏻‍♀️

  5. Well, must say that after reading “For All…..” the answer came in a blinding flash for a blind solve. And yes, I received the INTENTS, not the Eggcorn INTENSIVE. And the anagrams were a little INTENSE today, too. Had a few furrowed brows over some of the words. And lastly, I saw your very apt song, but had no idea who the Chicks were. Do the Dixie Chicks ever go by that single name? Just wonderin’. Angela, thanks for the Eggcorn wordsmithing….so delightful to bring another word into my awareness.

    • Good Morning, Terry. You’re welcome. And it’s been a little over 2 years since The Chicks changed their name, permanently dropping the Dixie..so wonder no more! Gotta love The Chicks! Have a good one! 🎶🙋🏻‍♀️
      https://tinyurl.com/3zhmtk74

      • About the Dixie Chicks…yes, it comes back to me now about changing their name. They gave Pres Bush a hard time about Iraq War…well, who didn’t?

  6. I had to pause on nugget but got that anagram. Then the multitude of letters had me stumped but with the critical care hint, the intensive purposes solution came to mind. Having celebrated my birthday last week, today is another birthday, our daughter, Kara, celebrates her 50th today! Happy Birthday Kara!

    • Glad you stuck with it, Professor…and enjoy the milestone with your family! 🎈🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. While not the same type of repair
And with construction dust in the air
    They work round the clock
    The nurse and the doc
    Providing the very best care!

    • I thought of you this morning with the nurse’s theme…And wishing you the best of health too, Betty. Enjoy your day, 👩🏻‍⚕️ 🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. 👏🏻👏🏻Not the best circumstances for sure,
But the goal still remained all the cure…
    So construction went on,
    But the staff? Worked beyond…
    What’s expected…for that be assured…👏🏻👏🏻

🦠Wearing masks norm in settings like this,
    The protection from deadly virus…
    But with debris around,
    To remain safe and sound?
They’re worn too should repairs go amiss! 🦠

    🏥 ICU’s vital to one’s health care,
And for those who may find themselves there…
They put faith in the staff,
    Who work on their behalf…
To keep them safe…despite the repairs! 🏥

👏🏻👏🏻 While construction went round them each day,
They made sure nothing got in their way…
Of the job near at hand,
    Despite the grit and sand…
And ensured patient’s worry allayed! 👏🏻👏🏻

🤷🏻‍♀️ With intents and purposes today’s theme,
Things went well…on face value it seems…
    But…would this take place,
    With an ICU’s pace?
Or is this just a puzzler’s pipe dream? 🤷🏻‍♀️

    • Well done Angela! We think along the same lines. Here in Ontario there’s currently a huge shortage of medical staff – maybe some of them have switched to the construction industry!

      • Tk you, Helen. I think right now shortages are being spoken of in excess of 40 million worldwide where health care workers are concerned. Good health is the greatest of riches…🙋🏻‍♀️
