    🪑The Cheetahs opened up a shop, they started to sell chairs,
    No longer just the MISFIT group, as they’d been in past years…
    No reason left to REPENT, others ACCEPT them now,
    And they’re all feeling JOYOUS…not to evermore kowtow…
    They’re hoping to RETIRE soon, they’ll have a SAFETY net,
    And they can live out their old age without any regret…
    The bottom line…today’s puzzle…I’m happy to report…
    Is all about the leisure life…and its CREATURE COMFORTS! 🪑

    Ok…I’m not LION when I tell you that today’s solve was an easy read, and that the only word that slowed one of the Early Birds down was REPENT. I think it was PREEN staring him in the face that caused the PAWS. But I was like…”TOUCAN do it…just rearrange the letters”…and sure enough, the next thing you know, he got it just VINE…

    So…Africa…at “Cheetah’s Chairs”….and yet oddly enough, not a Cheetah in sight. But we do see three monkey salesmen, each waiting on a customer… doing their best to make the CREATURES COMFORTable…The Giraffe in the market for a recliner…a TALL order, but luckily he’s struck gold. The Lioness, looking for the ideal place to SLEEP TONIGHT…and the TOUCAN very satisFRIED with a modern EGG chair. All in all…the day’s business? SOFA, so good…and it looks like the Cheetahs weren’t just MONKEYing around with their plan to provide CREATURE COMFORTS! https://tinyurl.com/5br78j79

    The Jungle Gyms? I mean Gems…Again…No Cheetahs! Which stumps me…but speaking of stumps, the base of the Giraffe’s chair is the stump of a tree, decoratively carved…the Giraffe has his legs crossed, while the monkey in attendance, giving him the thumbs up and hanging upside down, has his tail coiled twice around a vine…The Toucan is also giving the thumbs up, while the monkey assisting the Lioness is a punster…using the words PROUD, (pride) and DEN, much to the amusement of his client…Behind the Giraffe, what APEares to be a dog bed…and two Acacia trees off in the background…And lastly, all three monkeys are wearing ties…Just something worth KNOTing…

  3. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Made to feel like a MISFIT, and sensing he’d need to REPENT before they’d ACCEPT him back into the SAFETY of the fold and RETIRE the whole unpleasant affair, he offered to provide a series of CREATURE COMFORTS, and things finally turned JOYOUS again…🤷🏻‍♂️

    💁🏻‍♂️He thought he would RETIRE, he had a SAFETY net,
    No need to feel a MISFIT, no need to have regret…
    He could ACCEPT the buyout…be JOYOUS and relax,
    With nothing to REPENT about…‘stead live life to the max
    Go traveling, maybe to school…perhaps take up a sport…

  5. Should have seen this one coming, but needed anagrams to solve puzzle. We speedily solved anagrams, then settled into finding some combination of letters to make sense. Marsha saw COMFORTS and I quickly added CREATURE. She also thought it was funny that the giraffe had his legs crossed. Thanks again for the jungle GEMS, Angela and the very apt song.

  6. Good morning Sunday Funday ! I’m really pleased that I got all the Sunday anagrams , except , and it being on a Sunday , I should’ve known it was REPENT ! So that gave me the go ahead to try the jumble ! The gems and the animals were spot on ! I came up with CREATURE , but just couldn’t get COMFORTS ! I think the furniture and the relaxed state of mind the animals were in made my mind lazy and that’s why ! But it was a fun one and Angela’s song was spot on , especially for the lioness on the cushion ! Everyone have a great Sunday Funday !

  8. When I “RETIRE”, I will “ACCEPT” that I’ve been somewhat of a “MISFIT” and “REPENT” and be “JOYOUS” as to what comes next and in the “SAFETY” of my “CREATURE COMFORT” live in peace ! So “awhim away, awhim away, until tomorrow, everyone have a sunny day !
