  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…
    🎳 BOWLING…LEAD…ING WITH THE RIGHT FOOT🎳

🎶 The man in me will do nearly any task…And as for compensation, there’s a little he would ask…🎶 “The Man in Me” (opening song of “The Big Lebowski”) – Bob Dylan 1970 https://tinyurl.com/2s4zdeab

🎳 Maybe a tad IRONIC that we see this here today,
Lebowski dressed like every day was just casual Friday…
The movie’s comedy, considered black with all its stunts,
There’s definitely a scene or two that made the viewers GRUNT
Yes box office records it did SLASH…besides climbing the polls…
And here today we see the cast…playing their STARRING “ROLLS” 🎳

OK…Let’s set the SCENE… The “Hollywood STAR Lanes” Bowling Alley, 1989. Left to right…The STARS and their respective characters…John Goodman (Walter Sobchak), Jeff Bridges (Jeffrey “The Dude” Lebowski) Steve Buscemi (Theodore Donald “Donny” Kerabatsos) and John Turturro (Jesus Quintana)…And in the background, off to the right, the renowned Coen Brothers…Joel visible, and Ethan behind the camera…filming what went on to become an iconic pop culture phenomenon…

And even if you’re not familiar with “The Big Lebowski”, https://tinyurl.com/yck7em69 , this one had to STRIKE a chord right off the bat. The word “movie” in our question, along with “lead actors”…who would have STARRING ROLES…coupled with Lebowski seen “ROLLing” his ball…plus those tell-tale quotation marks, letting you know that there’d be a play on that word?…STARRING “ROLLS” was a SHOE in…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…and I think I’ve done enough DUDE diligence here today. If you feel the need to know more about the movie…read the link…pLANE and simple…I’m COEN…🎳🙋🏻‍♀️

    I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦
…AND I STAND FOR REFORM IN AMERICA 💔🇺🇸

    • Like others, can’t remember sitting for the whole movie….maybe we just caught bits and pieces on home TV??

Anyway, figured last word for a partial blind solve, then speedily unscrambled anagrams to finish up. On to Saturday !!

  2. 🎭 With them all in a SPIRAL, vying for the STARRING ROLES of the GRUNT Sergeants, they thought it IRONIC that the director decided to SLASH rehearsals…🎭

🌟He loved the SPIRAL staircase, IRONIC in a way,
Because heights tend to unnerve him…he’d GRUNT when he would sway…
He’d have to SLASH the budget if he was to meet his goals…
‘Cause the staircase and the chandelier def played the STARRING ROLES! 🌟

  3. 🎥 The movie was quite the big hit,
Portrayed men who def had true grit…
    33 years it’s spanned,
And it still has its fans…
Who you’ll hear sing the praises of it…🎥

🎳 Bowlers took to the movie with glee,
Word of mouth made it the one to see…
    And despite all the years,
    It still garners the cheers…
People still love “The Big Lebowski”! 🎳

💰 With a cast that was second to none,
The Coen Brothers had a job well done…
    Movie that dealt with bowling,
    Saw the money start rolling…
From the moment previews had begun…💰

⭐️ In the Jumble, bowling’s often seen,
    But today it’s a whole ‘nother scene…
    We have stars here today,
And we see as they play….
And in this movie they all did preen…⭐️

🧢 Solved this puzzle with much time to spare,
(And of course I got a pun in there)…
But to Jeff tip your hat,
‘Cause he def came to bat…
With the caricatures that we see here! 🧢

  4. Good morning Friday , end of the week ! I never really saw the big lewbowski , but after reading your connections with the jumble and the movie , it was very nice . The anagrams were all there and I just didn’t have the connections, but it was still as fun ! Everyone have a great end of the week Friday

    • Good Morning…I never saw the whole movie either, but it itself really had nothing to do with the solve. Definitely another one of David’s clever plays on words…He just BOWLS me over! Have a good one,Jim. 🎳🙋🏻‍♀️

  5. Good morning. Got the words but not the cartoon answer. Don’t think I ever saw the whole movie. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  6. I also don’t recall seeing the movie, but being a former avid bowler, rolls was quickly followed by the complete cartoon solution.

  7. Another person here who has never seen the movie, and I’m not a bowler either. Nevertheless, I was able to see “rolls” and by figuring “ing” “starr” was left. Have a good day all.
