  1. Good Morning, Everyone…. 🕰 THE GENERATION MAP 🕰

🎶 If I could save TIME in a bottle the first thing that I’d like to do…is to SAVE every day ’til eternity PASSES away just to spend them with you…If I could make days LAST FOREVER..if words could make wishes come true..I’d save every day like a TREASURE and then again, I would spend them with you…🎶…”Time In A Bottle” – Jim Croce 1973 https://tinyurl.com/452cmaac

🕰There’s memories that warm our hearts, that conjure up sweet days,
While others tend to GOUGE our psyche in the worst of ways…
They may sting like a STIGMA, we dread the thoughts that rise,
But following like SHEEP to a bad memory’s not wise…
This Granddaughter we see today…her memory’s quite clear,
Of being just an INFANT and holding this clock so dear
And now that it’s bequeath to her, each time she hears it chime…
The memories will stay alive with the PASSAGE OF TIME…🕰

I’m a sucker for Family heirlooms…so this puzzle STRUCK a chord…The solve took just a SECOND to see…The dialogue’s mention of “Great-Great Grandfather” and our question giving us “Handed down for generations”, PASSAGE OF TIME was inevitable…And here’s to TICK TOCK before it was TIK TOK…

So…considering the looks (which seem oddly familiar) of the couple giving the gift, I’m going with Grandparents. And from our dialogue, (“I have ALWAYS loved this”), it’s the woman who’s family, and HOUR lucky is this Granddaughter and her husband to be on the receiving end of such an heirloom? Any heirloom PASSed down is a treasure IMO, but a clock? The ultimate definition of the PASSAGE OF TIME… But the MINUTE detail that stood out? The mention of the full moon. Some people may not be PHASEd by such a feature, but I think the Moon Phase Calendar on an antique Astrolabium Anniversary clock https://tinyurl.com/2s36htvu such as this is TIMEless… And the HANDing down of a CLOCK is definitely good for a smile…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Be well, be kind, stay safe…and here’s to the “Generation Map” of handing down memories…🕰🙋🏻‍♀️

    I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦
…AND I STAND FOR REFORM IN AMERICA 💔🇺🇸

  2. 🐑 The newspaper reported that the intruder had entered the room of the INFANT and maniacally proceeded to GOUGE her collection of stuffed SHEEP…and regardless of the PASSAGE OF TIME, to the family who was victimized the memory remained a STIGMA…🐑

✝️ The statue of St Rocco, GOUGE of STIGMA on his thigh,
Stood next to that of Anthony, with INFANT Christ nearby…
No SHEEP shown with these statues, but to Catholics both are prime,
Deep devotion’s never wavered despite long PASSAGE OF TIME…✝️

  3. Hello everyone ! Wow , what another great Wednesday jumble hump-day ! I got all the anagrams right away without a GOUGE and the SHEEP said not BaaaaaaaD Jim ! The jumbles lately are leaving a very fun and entertaining STIGMA arhat captures the INFANT youth in us ! As soon as I read clock and generations , I knew that the word TIME was in there and the PASSAGE OF handed down for generations ! So I’m gonna leave with a song that fits and I can’t see if Angela posted it yet but we’ll agree that 🎵Time is on my side , yes it is 🎵 Rolling Stones ! Everyone have a great Wednesday hump-day !!

  4. There once was a very fine clock
To the family, was just like a rock
    With its faithful chime
    Marking the time
And the comfort of that old tick-tock!

  5. I’ll give myself a 98% Blind Solve this morning….as I was studying puzzle cartoon, my eyes slipped over to anagrams and I peeked at the first word and saw the P in SHEEP. Knew puzzle was XXXXXXX of TIME, so figured out PASSAGE from there. Good song Angela…Jim Croce one of the multitudes of Singer/Songwriters/Guitarists of the 70’s.

  6. Good morning. Stigma got me for a second time I believe. I didn’t see that which I should have but was successful with the cartoon answer. Enjoyed the song choice Angela. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  7. Hello Jumble friends, haven’t been able to comment lately – been enjoying my 5 sweet little “INFANT” grandkids, although their not so little any more. They are disavowing the “STIGMA” of Vermont as cold and snowy – it’s actually beautifully mild !
And with the “PASSAGE OF TIME”, I can now relax and join you in doing the puzzles that have been great ! Until tomorrow everyone have a sunny day !

    • Betty…I just thought of you. Julie Andrews is in NY, and was on The View. And despite my feelings about “The Sound of Music”, the Grand Dame that she is overrules it all. She’s a treasure. And at 86 years old, she’s still an amazingly beautiful woman. Cent’ Anni, 🍷Dame Julie…and a Happy Wednesday to you, Betty. 🙋🏻‍♀️

      • She is indeed a treasure. I remember seeing her on the Carol Burnett show many years ago and they were just terrific together.

        • She was just feted at the AFI Awards, and she was so generous in her acceptance speech…she’s so gracious a woman. I think that’s the perfect word for her. She’s the epitome of grace. She sat with Carol Burnett throughout the entire ceremony, and you could see the love one has for the other…both giants in the industry, IMO. Friends for more than 60 years. She’s here promoting the Minions movie, where she’s voicing the part of Gru’s mother, a part definitely out of character for her…The woman is a self-absorbed example of everything a mother shouldn’t be! I think I’d see it just for her “performance” alone! 🎭🙋🏻‍♀️

          • I love the Minions. They’re hysterical. My son and I will be sure to see the movie. We all need a good laugh these days.

            • I love the little buggers too. And God knows we need a good laugh! 🙋🏻‍♀️
