  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…
🛣 NO WRITE WING, NO LEFT WING…HE JUST ROAD HIS BOOK! 🛣

    🎶 I think I made a wrong turn…I didn’t see you there…I was steady like the lines on the road…So I accelerated – didn’t take it slow…🎶 “Right Of Way” – These Girls 2020 https://tinyurl.com/2p9n5r5t

🛣 The roads of our great country amaze me that’s for sure,
No one THREW caution to the wind, details they did explore…
Roads leading to a WINERY, roads running by train rails,
Roads where you’d find a boba shop with FOAMY cheese for sale..
One wonders if a publishing house OUTBID to get this tome,
I can’t help but be thinking about all roads lead to Rome…
The bottom line he did explain the Interstate’s outlay…
And how it saw fruition …giving him the “WRITE” OF WAY! 🛣

While President Eisenhower didn’t conceive the Interstate System, his support led to the enactment of the “Federal-Aid Highway Act of 1956”, https://tinyurl.com/58wjchfn which established the program for funding and building it. https://tinyurl.com/38uh2sea You gotta LIKE https://tinyurl.com/2p9c4kyt IKE! OK…Let’s get this show on the ROAD…

So…A local Barnes & Noble? A local Library? A classroom setting? I’m not sure which of them is the WRITE place…but I guess it’s really not germane to our puzzle. What is germane is that the conversation is DRIVEN by the interest in ROADS. The WAY people would travel. And between our dialogue…”How the roads were ALLOWED to be built”…”The acts ALLOWED”…stressing allowed…(to be given the RIGHT OF WAY), https://tinyurl.com/52e8ncjv , the green light, so to speak…the RIGHT OF WAY regarding driving… https://tinyurl.com/5fnnnayu and our puzzle being about the book being WRITTEN… not to mention those tell-“tale-gating” quotation marks? This one’s set in CEMENT. The author had the “WRITE” OF WAY! Bravo, David! You RODE up another good one! The only DRAW back I’m having? The book’s title looks to be “The Road Most Traveled”…but I can’t make out what Jeff chose to WRITE as the author’s name…so I’m a little PAVED…I mean peeved. But if anyone out there can READ what’s WRITTEN…feel free to let me know. ‘Cause I’m at a STANDSTILL…and I’m just going to bid it all a FARE thee well…

So…There you have it Folks…Done! Be well, be kind, stay safe…and man, am I TIREd after all this…🛣🙋🏻‍♀️

    I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦
…AND I STAND FOR REFORM IN AMERICA 💔🇺🇸

  2. 🤦🏻‍♂️ He thought they had the RIGHT OF WAY as far as the campaigns for the new improved FOAMY dishwashing liquid and the local WINERY went… but his boss THREW him for a loop when he announced that they’d been OUTBID…🤦🏻‍♂️

🤞🏻The ocean’s water looked so blue, with FOAMY crescents showing,
The view from the new WINERY had all the patrons glowing…
The auction should be crowded, Frank THREW the message out,
That he was hoping to OUTBID the others with his clout…
He knew the lots he coveted, he eyed them on display…
And now he has his fingers crossed he’ll get the RIGHT OF WAY! 🤞🏻

  3. Good morning Friday ! What a way to have another wonderful andvv cvs fun jumble week ! The anagrams were all there and the jumble gave you what an author does , he WRITEs and OF WAY was there ! Couldn’t make out what the authors name was on the book , and it didn’t look like Chuck Ragan ! Everyone have a great Friday !!!!!

  4. Good morning. I didn’t break any records solving both ends of jumble but I managed to succeed after taking a break and returning. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  5. Interesting and very apt song today….you can’t say that the old school crooners ever managed to tame that lyric. A pretty easy blind solve for TGIF and anagrams solved speedily. Shaping up to be a great wordsmith day !!! Thanks, Angela for your postings.

  6. Yes, those highways that crisscross the land
Making travel so much in demand
    Interstate is a breeze
Eat up the miles with such ease
And your journey goes just as you’ve planned!

Yes, a bit utopian I know – so many unplanned things can happen. But if you’ve prepared well and thought things out, it should be a smooth drive….apart from traffic jams. I love road trips!

  7. Quotes in the cartoon answer stumped me. BTW I read the book on the development of our interstate system. President Eisenhower brought the interstate idea back from his experience with the autobahn system in Germany in WW2.
