  1. Good Morning, Everyone….🏇🏼NEITHER REIN…ETC…ETC…🏇🏼

    🎶 Signed, sealed, DELIVERED, I’m yours…Here I am, Baby…Signed, sealed, DELIVERED, I’m yours…🎶 “Signed, Sealed, Delivered…I’m Yours” – Stevie Wonder 1970 https://tinyurl.com/5hx3u2ve

    🏇🏼 A package from a client, a letter from one’s NIECE,
The TARGET date that has been set for signing that new lease…
It takes a lot of INWARD work for it to be done well,
    To guarantee deliveries…as mail’s volume did swell…
Of course no MODEM known back then…but postage? A steep climb…
The Pony Express hardly cheap …but mostly “RIDE” ON TIME! 🏇🏼

On October 24th, 1861, Western Union completed the transcontinental telegraph line… https://tinyurl.com/wt8es2um and as far as the Pony Express was concerned…it was like beating a dead HORSE…But for the 18 months proceeding that, the Pony Express linked the East to the West with was then considered lightning STEED. Was it successful? NEIGH. But at the time it was pretty much tantaMOUNT to what Air Mail is today…And you can read all about it here… https://tinyurl.com/mryuub5y And as an added bonus, I’m delivering another article that earned my STAMP of approval… https://tinyurl.com/4u9x4v78 I think you’ll enjoy it…

Ok…Before I get too far off the BEATEN PATH, let me REIN this in and get down to business…It’s 1860…and according to what can be seen written on the package being delivered, we’re at the Main Street, Jumbletown address of James Centers. And we see a Pony Express rider delivering said package. James, with his pocket watch attached to its fob held in his hand, is surprised at its “PROMPTness”. And once again, no bumpy RIDE here…Our dialogue sets the PACE for an automatic solve…”The mail must go through”,…”Gotta RUN”?… And HARNESS that to those tell-TAIL quotation marks in our question? SADDLE up, Folks…we’re TROUGH…Oops…Typo. I meant through! The mail was delivered…”RIDE” ON TIME! And the Gem in this puzzle? James is saying “WHOA”. https://tinyurl.com/2xyxt4wm Leave it to Jeff to HORSE around!

So…There you have it Folks…Signed, sealed and DELIVERED…Have a good one…Be well, stay safe…And I’ll SEND you off with a little equine humor…What did one horse say to the other horse? The PACE is familiar, but I can’t remember the MANE…🏇🏼🙋🏻‍♀️

PS: OK…So I’m sitting here RIDING my POST… OFFICE light shining bright, and I can’t help but think…Wouldn’t it have been a real TRIP if James’s address was MANE St instead? 😉

  2. 🤷🏻‍♂️Having promised his NIECE a shopping trip to TARGET, and wanting to be RIGHT ON TIME, he tried holding his concern over the malfunctioning MODEM INWARD while waiting for the tech support person to get on the line…🤷🏻‍♂️

🖥 His NIECE needed a MODEM, the TARGET price was high,
Her INWARD mail worked perfectly…the outward? Gone awry…
He saw how stressed she had become, anxiety did climb…
So he bought her a new one…and he did it RIGHT ON TIME! 🖥

    • Haven’t we seen MODEM twice ithe lastgr week?
      Anagramts not dtifficult.
      Solution quick

  3. Good morning taco-Tuesday ! Gonna have some later ! Wow , so far I’m seeing a wonderful jumble pattern of fun and challenging jumbles ! Can’t wait to tell my NIECE that she was the first word ! And that I misspelled it , then flip-flopped the I and E and got it ! The rest of the anagrams , I turned on my brain MODEM and went INWARD for a TARGET and got it easily ! The jumble had me hoofing it with the pony express , but I got it RIDE ON TIME ! Another great jumble ! Hope everyone has some tacos , and if they make you thirsty , wait till Thursday ! Have a great day !!!!!!

  4. Partial blind solve on Taco Tuesday and having to go to great lengths to solve TARGET. Thought puzzle cartoon might be ON TIME, so started tackling the anagrams, only to find no solution to TARGET. Took out the letters needed for the puzzle, which left an R and T…and finally (whew !!) got TARGET….and RIDE was left over (another “whew”) Pretty easy morning but I made it more difficult than need be….oh well. Stevie Wonder a great talent…will listen in a few moments. Thanks for great history, Angela.

  5. Good morning. Another successful completion with very little trouble. No blind solve though. When I saw your song choice Angela it put a smile on my face. It goes well with today’s theme. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  6. When the pony express was the way
To send mail that did not go astray.
    The rider intent
    You could say hell-bent
    To deliver without a delay!

  7. This one is full of shadow solutions, and in trying to solve this, I hit on them first. There’s RODE IN TIME, MINE TO RIDE (not yours!), and RITE ON DiME. I don’t know if the French word EN is acceptable, but there is also RIDE EN OMIT. Too bad we can’t find a better one than OMIT, because the USPS seems to be inclined at times to OMIT delivery. There are too many MODEMs in these Jumbles; if they are on this Internet-connection craze, at least they could try ROUTER instead.

  8. 💸 Back then getting the mail was by horse,
And they travelled an arduous course…
    But the Pony Express,
    Was a financial mess…
And were working at such a great loss! 💸

🏇🏼 With the motto…”The mail must go through”,
East to west was the route to pursue…
So three men who knew freight,
They stepped up to the plate…
And in two months they gathered a crew! 🏇🏼

🤷🏻‍♂️ Riders swore oaths and then hit the trail,
Changing horses while guarding the mail…
They rode through day and night,
    As the weather they’d fight…
But alas, the Express still did fail…🤷🏻‍♂️

    • Hi Chuck. I too had to think briefly at niece then remembered “I”before “ e” except after “c” or when sounded as “a” as in “neighbor” or “weigh” etc. etc. etc. 🙂

  9. Cute pun this morning. Imagine what the Pony Express riders would think of the Amazon delivery services today – talk about Speedy Delivery! Happy Tuesday all!

  10. Hi everyone in Jumble land ! This comment of mine is “RIDE ON TIME” before Angela will “TARGET” the day as too late ! LOL ! Thank you Angela for the song pic, so much fun to hear it again ! This puzzle was fun and pretty easy – I loved it …. so until tomorrow – have a sunny day !

    • LOL! I’d never target anyone as being late, Suz…feel free to RIDE a comment any time you’d like. E-MAILs don’t bother me!…And you’re welcome, I’m glad you enjoyed the music. Wishing you a sunny day, too…🏇🏼🙋🏻‍♀️

  11. Well! I was hung up for a while on the disallowed “Darwin” for the third word, so it took some time for me to hone in on “inward,” after that the rest of the solve went pretty easily for me.
