    🏃🏻‍♂️He’d GOTTEN into exercise after his FIBULA healed,
    Not one to CODDLE himself, he made sure the deal was sealed…
    His wife helped to INDUCT him into keeping himself fit,
    Nothing UNIQUE about it, for they both possessed true grit…
    But now there was this ORIGIN of climbing up steep hills,
    And he thought that he’d draw the line…for him it held no thrills
    He’d rather keep a level head…so level ground chose he…
    Her challenge no, not this time…he’s not INCLINED TO AGREE! 🏃🏻‍♂️

    While Sunday words can sometimes be a challenge, just as the one facing our man today, one has to admit that they are fun to play with. I always thought the 6-letter words were easier to decipher…maybe because as a poet there’s the syllable thing, IDK. But here today, our words are all newly anagrammed and masterfully done, IMO. And it was only DCOLED that two of the Early Birds paused at…

    So…Our puzzle today brings us to that age old fork in the road, as we meet HILLary and GYM…and see a lone jogger off in the distance…And while Gym’s not against the occasional jog or two, he takes the FIRM in Terra Firma quite literally. He’s good with some working out now and then, and he may be INCLINED to indulge in a nature hike here and there…but that’s where he draws the line. Climbing? Uh, no…he’s so not INCLINED… So when it came to solving today’s puzzle, we were all in AGREEment with him. A challenge? No… Because besides his dialogue telling us that he’d “RATHER head DOWN”, all one needed to do was look at HILLary’s hand gesture, the eyes of both of them, and the steep INCLINE on her side of that fork! And LOW and behold, in no TINE at all?…It was onward and UPward..no pun intended…An automatic solve! Gym, with his visible beads of sweat, and his finger pointed away from what he feels is a road best left untravelled…just wasn’t INCLINED TO AGREE https://tinyurl.com/2p95thms with HILLary this TINE around…

    So…There you have it Folks…Done! Be well, stay safe…and here’s to hoping that for HILL and GYM, today’s puzzle isn’t an EXERCISE in DIVISION…I’d hate to see them hit ROCK BOTTOM…🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🤷🏻‍♂️No one was sure of how it had GOTTEN its ORIGIN, but most people in the small town were INCLINED TO AGREE that the drive was UNIQUE in the sense that it tried to INDUCT into the youth that life wasn’t going to CODDLE you…and sadly, for the first time, the committee chair was unable to attend because of the damage to his FIBULA…🤷🏻‍♂️

    🦴 Anatomy the given class, tradition still held sway,
    The teacher stuck with ORIGIN…it’s FIBULA today…
    Not one to CODDLE students, they found him most UNIQUE,
    Word had it that said students all paid heed when he would speak…
    He’d GOTTEN many accolades, as he tried to INDUCT,
    A pride in work to students…strong minds he would construct
    He’d taught lo all these many years…’twas quite easy to see…
    Respect for him came naturally…all INCLINED TO AGREE! 🦴

  4. 🧗🏻 While it’s good when one tries to stay fit,
    There’s no need to go out and push it…
    Gym said, “Walking I like…
    But the climb? Take a hike…
    Not for me..I just have to admit”…🧗🏻

    🏃🏻‍♂️They’re both sweating but he’s looking worse,
    So he can’t help but to be quite terse….
    He’s not jogging uphill,
    Poor Gym…he’s had his fill…
    So he’s choosing his hike in reverse…🏃🏻‍♂️

    🤷🏻‍♂️ Hill and Gym started at the same pace,
    But have now come upon the forked place…
    Hill says, “Gym…take a dare?
    How ‘bout jogging up there”?
    But Gym’s bowing out hopefully with grace! 🤷🏻‍♂️

    🪵 Gym is tired and don’t want to jog…
    He’ll get home and def sleep like a log…
    But will Hill take it wrong…
    And then bid Gym ‘so long’…
    Just because he’s not up for the slog? 🪵

    ❤️‍🩹 Wonder what Gym decided to do,
    Will he stick to his guns or pursue…
    The path Hillary chose,
    And just go where she goes?
    And will this mean that our two are through? ❤️‍🩹

  5. Good morning Sunday Funday ! Well , I felt like I just jogged 20 miles , cause I had a tough time with GOTTEN , ORIGIN ( which I wrote down IRONIG ), and UNIQUE and I was tired ! The jumble felt like I did jog up the hill ( incline ) ! And was too INCLINED TO AGREE ! I’m ready for a new start of the week Mondays Jumble ! Everyone have a great Sunday Funday !!!

  7. I tried Trailing and Along for the answer before thinking of Agreeing. It didn’t work because  I only had one G but led me to the answer.

  8. Much cogitation had to take place to solve today’s puzzle cartoon….We breezed through the anagrams and were facing this incredible onslaught of letters, without a phrase to help us out. Marsha and I stopped in our tracks to think…and then think some more about all the words involving “climb”…and out of the darkness…INCLINED appeared and that was that. Enjoyed listening to that soft, silky falsetto in today’s song…but maybe more importantly, might run to the freezer where Marsha keeps her stash of Chocolate Chip Cookies to celebrate our Sunday Solve. Well deserving, don’t you think ??

  10. Good afternoon. I had trouble with 3 of the words but wound up getting them all. It took longer for those 3 words than the cartoon answer itself. Enjoyed it. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  12. Breezed through the anagrams but struggled with the puzzle. Kept thinking the first word would end in “ing” so that threw me off. Finally saw “agree” and then “inclined” popped into view. Always rewarding when I have to ponder for a bit and then finally arrive at the answer. Happy Sunday all!
