  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…

🍠 LOOK WHAT’S CROPPED UP AGAIN TODAY! 🍠

🎶 I’m gonna live where the green grass grows….Watch my corn pop up in rows…And plant our dreams where the peaceful river flows…Oh, where the green grass grows…. 🎶 “Where The Green Grass Grows” – Tim McGraw 1997 https://tinyurl.com/255psewa

🍊🌽 COPPER is vital to our health, it comes from fruits and grains,
(And will I work UNWED in here? Slight chance barely remains)…
    Again today we’ve farming…yesterday a yam event,
(On farmland there’s no DUPLEX…Today’s words? There’s no relent)!
But anyway, a farmer is who we COURT here today,
We see fruits of her labor…(yes a pun I chose to play)
The bottom line, it’s vegetables and fruits that we can sluice…
That make our puzzle here today…The solve…PRODUCE PRODUCE! 🥕🍋

…So as I toil and toil…we’re getting more soil? Yams back to back? Plus a puzzle on the 10th about the pilot who LANDed on a farm? A little overkill, n’est-ce pas? Hmm. Just what is David thinking? Will there be more? Will we end up DIRTy with Farm puzzles? Is there a possibility they’ll GROW on us?? So many questions…so little THYME…

Anyway….Where we had three new anagrams yesterday, today we have four. And oddly enough, it was RUCOT that gave an Early Bird a case of the blues..But once again, it was WEIGH too easy to ROOT out the solve…Fruits and Vegetables? Farms with great soil so that they can PRODUCE such a great variety of crops? They PRODUCE PRODUCE! And Jeff’s PRODUCED lots of it here for us to see…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, stay safe…and we should all be supporting our local farmers…times are hard, and unfortunately some of them are just living from wheat to wheat…🍊🌽🙋🏻‍♀️

    I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦

    • You did it again! The third word copper has the same letters as proper. Yesterday the same happened on prefix which I first thought was expire! You are driving me nuts!!!

  2. 👮🏻‍♂️Back in COURT, dealing with issues about the DUPLEX the couple had lived in while they were still UNWED, the Judge had reached his limit…and wanting concrete evidence turned to the police officer and said…”COPPER, PRODUCE, PRODUCE”! 👮🏻‍♂️

🤷🏻‍♀️ She lost the COPPER bracelet, he’d bought while they were UNWED,
And searching through the DUPLEX only upped her sense of dread…
The first gift that he’d given her when they began to COURT,
It swept her off her feet…and how she’d hate now to report
That it was gone…So she sat down and poured herself some juice…
    And said aloud…”Come on memory…please, please …PRODUCE PRODUCE”! 🤷🏻‍♀️

  3. Good morning Friday, start of the weekend ! The couple that lived in a DUPLEX were UNWED so they better find some COPPER and go to COURT ! Just a little something to use the easy anagrams today ! Had fun with them ! The jumble was kind of off the single crop and went to the double crop of PRODUCE PRODUCE ! I got it but I thought I’d repeat it again ! Yes a lot of farms lately ! Maybe we’ll hear about Old McDonald ! Everyone have a great Friday , start to the weekend !!!

  4. A carrot and an apple, the farmer’s “PRODUCE PRODUCE”, were planning on getting married for they were “UNWED”. After going to the “COURT” house to be wed they left, dreamily, to go home to thier newly purchased “COPPER” “DUPLEX” where they lived happily ever after!
Comment kinda goofy today, it’s fun bringing a story out of the anagrams – so until tomorrow – everyone have a very sunny day !

  5. Easy blind solve today when I started seeing several P’s and C’s. Also one of my favorite types of solutions when the guys use the same word twice…have a great weekend where the weather is beautiful in southeast Georgia!!

  6. Such an easy puzzle to solve, but I didn’t get a blind solve for it !!! Had to go through the anagrams, but was obvious after solving those. And wow, using YAM’s, two days in a row. Angela, thanks for opening the archives from 2001. Which reminds me, was there some kind of notice when David and Jeff took over…don’t quite remember that/any transition. Enjoy TGIFing today.

    • YW, Terry. Such a different look back then right? As for David and Jeff, I know Jeff’s first cartoon was featured on March 3rd, 2008. David, if I remember correctly took over creating the puzzles in 2011. But I don’t recall any fanfare when the transitions took place. I think both times it just segued into the days with the different byline. 🤷🏻‍♀️

      • I was not allowed to notify the players that I had taken over. In fact, I was under contract to draw like Henri for an undetermined amount of time. They didn’t want to scare the players. Which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. It allowed me to get a feel for everything and slowly develop MY style, which I am still doing 14 years later. I’m getting better I think.

  7. Good morning. Back in the swing. Took a little time but I was able to get both I say both ends of jumble today. Enjoyed this country start of the day. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

    • Good Morning, Paul. Both ends indeed! 😉 Have a good one, Paul. Be well, and stay safe out there, 🫐🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Enjoyed the puzzle today. It came easy to me with no problem. Happy Friday everyone. Enjoy the weekend.

    • Thank you, Kent, that’s very kind of you to say..and it’s much appreciated. 🙋🏻‍♀️

  9. I too paused at unwed but other than that the anagrams and cartoon answer were an easy solve. In view of the theme of the past two days, we’d better all eat our vegetables. Have a good one all!

  10. 🍎Make a purchase of apple or pear,
Or perhaps it’s the corn lying there…
If you stop at this stand,
You’ll get best of the land…
And you’ll deal with a women sincere! 🍎

🍠 For the second day yams they abound,
But the solve was so easily found…
Just seems odd in a way,
    All these yams on display…
Carrying their weight with pound after pound! 🍠

🌽 Our Farmer says they have great soil,
“Try our yams…you can bake, fry or boil”…
    And our shopper’s impressed,
By them and all the rest…
Thinking to victors also go spoils! 🌽
