  1. Good Morning, Everyone…🎯 DART’S THE WAY TO DO IT! 🎯

There’s not much need be said here today…the dialogue and cartoon get right to the POINT…”Sweet TASTE of victory”, “DRINK to that”…”BULL’S EYE”!…And the carton showing the dart on the “Jumble”board…right where it belongs …Just where it HIT THE SPOThttps://tinyurl.com/yckjrvme …Bingo! We have ourselves a double play on words today…

The dartboard shows a J and a T, and a dart’s lying on the table beside two empty glasses. There’s an animal logo of some sort on the sweater of the man at right… And our two characters, triumphantly clinking glasses, (while the third is obviously dismayed), definitely look like “real (or reel) life” people, but I can’t pinPOINT them…Although I’m sure they BEER resemblance to someone known to Jeff and/or David…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Be well, stay safe…and I’m dedicating this to my friend who’s been dubbed MISTER Dartboard at the bar where he plays…because he usually does…(Give it a minute).… 😉🎯🙋🏻‍♀️

    I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦

  2. Good morning. Easy Monday jumble from the words to the cartoon answer. Nothing more to say. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  3. I’m really happy to say
That I enjoyed my very short stay
    In your capital city
    Cherry blossoms so pretty
But the sky was so low and so grey!

Walking in rain was a bit of a slog
No chance for any brisk jog
    With the National Mall
    Cast in a pall
And the White House shrouded in fog!

(White House shrouded in fog……..could that be symbolic?)

    • Quickly guessed the solution before attacking the anagrams. Hesitated with the last anagram but needing an I and a P helped me find SPIRAL.
Spring is not springing fast enough here up north. Still have a few spot of snow in my yard.
I hope you have you recouped well ?
      Christian

  4. Easy puzzle today. Happy Monday everyone . Enjoy the day. Weather is warming up this week in Connecticut.

  5. Will join others today celebrating an easy Jumble Victory. I remember well the mid 70’s when stationed at RAF Lakenheath in England…just had to learn how to play !! It seems like it will take more than a minute to figure out Angela’s cryptic line about her friend, Mister Dartboard.

  6. The Jumble makers have to be really careful if they include SPOT in a cartoon solution. SPOT has 6 anagrams! This dart player could have had a drink that HIT the SPOT, but he could have also HIT the STOP. He has to be careful with these drinks; he needs to know when to stop. He also could have HIT the POTS, HIT the POST, HIT the OPTS, or HIT the TOPS. And it is interesting that SPIRAL is one of the four words in this, the month of April, for an alternative solution is APRILS, as in I wonder if this word appeared several APRILS ago. However, APRILS leads to STTOHPR, which has no anagrams.

  7. Good morning ! Start of a new jumble week and so far it’s starting off just like last week ! The anagrams were there , I had some trouble with word two , so I went out to the PATIO, but that didn’t help ! And the last word had me going around in circles , and I couldn’t see the SPIRAL ! So I I called the STAFF and they said no more HIDDEN hard ones ! But the jumble made me throw a dart and I HIT THE SPOT ! It was a fun one , I just couldn’t get my thinking cap on right , but I got most of it ! Another good start to the week of jumbles ! Everyone have a great start to the week Monday !!!

    • I’m going to need another hint…POINT me in the right direction…🤷🏻‍♀️

      • It’s Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis) it’s kind of the best thing going for the last couple of years.

        • Yes, thanks Jeff…I got it last night when my cousin repeated your…”Believe”…and said “Earl”?…with exaggerated raised eyebrows, and 🤦🏻‍♀️…then it finally fell into place. I totally missed those 2 really huge clues. But I still didn’t make the darts connection because I’m like 15 episodes behind…and didn’t put it all together until he told me about it and I googled and read #8. Thank God Season 3 is delayed, because I have wayyyyy too much catching up to do…and not enough hours in the day…🤦🏻‍♀️

  8. The Jumble definitely hit the spot this morning w a quick solve of all.A rainy Monday in store for today here.

  9. With his eye fixed right on the eye
    He scored a perfect try
But the effort made him think
I’m in need of a drink
This game leaves me feeling quite dry!

  10. Easy Monday Jumble. Off to a good start. We’re due for a bit of rain this week – April Showers. Have a good day all!

  11. You’re probably in need of rain in California Betty. May be some of it’s coming from your capital, Washington, where it certainly rained last week. I can attest to that – drenched!

    • You’re so right, Helen, we are DESPERATElY in need of rain. I wish they would build a pipeline from the East Coast to the West Coast so they could ship the excess rain and melted snow water to us. ☔️

  12. Funny how we can all be a little disgruntled about our nation, with people taking sides and opinions, back and forth. I’m Declaring neutrality right now. And the minute an outsider steps in and gives an overt opinion, I say, “Well, then, stay in your own damned Country!” I may not agree with anything going on right now, but I will always be, America Strong! 💪🏻🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸💪🏻! How’s that grab ya?

        • My father was a veteran of the 2nd World War
Which is cause for my Patriotism, I’m sure
I didn’t vote for the man behind the podium
But he IS our President and we must stand beside him
And for those who do not, there’s the door!
