  1. Good Morning, Everyone…. 🧍🏻🧍🏻THE WOMB MATES 🧍🏻🧍🏻

🎶 I keep a-tellin’ you….Right smack dab in the middle of town I’ve found a paradise that’s TROUBLE proof…(UP ON THE ROOF)…And if this world starts getting you down, there’s room enough for TWO…UP ON THE ROOF…🎶… “UP ON THE ROOF” – The Drifters 1962 https://tinyurl.com/ry7evs77

🧍🏻🧍🏻 Like yesterday the theme today that we see David chose,
    Is popular around these parts…of course I don’t OPPOSE…
Twins can be fun, but these two here cause this WOMAN some grief,
They’re mischievous to say the least…so it’s now her belief…
That they def OVERDO things…they turn her world a tilt,
They’re always in some trouble…and they seem to feel no GUILT…
So here today we found them, and it’s on the roof they stood…
And Double Trouble’s what we see…again UP “TWO” NO GOOD! 🧍🏻🧍🏻

Once again today, we have a puzzle with a very familiar SEEN. Twins have graced our pages many, many times over the years, and we love the revelry..I mean the rivalry…

With LITUG being our only repeat anagram this morning, there was no reason for a DOUBLE take on any of our words. The Early Birds easily CLIMBED over them. And our solve was an immediate one…With our question mentioning “twins” and “in trouble” …and giving us those quotes…PAIRed with our dialogue giving us..”where you shouldn’t be”…And our cartoon showing the TWO boys, UP on the roof? It was easy to see what David was UP TWO with this one…These STUNT DOUBLES of ours were definitely UP “TWO” NO GOOD!…And poor angry, frustrated Mom…maybe she should look into hiring an au PAIR!

…And up on the roof? A frisbee in the hand of the bold twin, a football in the grip of the “Uh oh…the scold” twin…And wedged in the gutter…a baseball and a whiffle ball…Hmm..Maybe Mom might end UP being a good SPORT about this after all!

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, stay safe… And to all you TWINS out there…. You may be a TWIN, but I bet you’re ONE OF A KIND to your Mom…🧍🏻🧍🏻🙋🏻‍♀️

    I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦

  2. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♀️They thought the WOMAN might be UP TO NO GOOD and felt no GUILT in letting her know, since she did OVERDO it…so they overrode the two members who did OPPOSE calling her on it…🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♀️

🤷🏻‍♀️ The WOMAN said, “Hey, this is wrong, and I for one OPPOSE,
Going along with this plan that you’ve chosen to propose…
Why OVERDO it with remarks that might cause later GUILT,
You’re tarnishing the good name that together we have built…”
And so she voted nay to it, and her ground she def stood…
Ignoring their proposal…deeming it UP TO NO GOOD! 🤷🏻‍♀️

  3. Good morning Wednesday hump-day ! The anagrams were another example of this weeks fun and entertaining ones ! Not one gave me a problem or made me think twice . The jumble was really a thinking one ! The first word that came right away with so many O’s was TWO , then I thought maybe some short words , then came UP , so what was left was more O’s and the G needed a home , so GOOD was there and that left NO , so UP TWO NO GOOD for the twins ! Cute jumble ! We’ll everyone have a great Wednesday hump-day !!!!!

  4. 🧍🏻🧍🏻When dealing with two boys, not one,
Hard to know where the trouble’s begun…
    Was it one…or the other,
    Bringing grief to this Mother?
Who’s to blame? Which one of her two sons? 🧍🏻🧍🏻

🤦🏻‍♀️ Knowing she’d find them up to no good,
After seeing the ladder of wood…
    Wasn’t where it belonged,
    Once again…poor Mom’s wronged…
Dealing with her two boys’ childhood! 🤦🏻‍♀️

🤷🏻‍♀️ They’ll be “grounded” for sure this time ‘round,
After up on the roof the twins found…
    Trouble’s their middle name,
But which one is to blame?
Hopefully she’ll find out when they’re down! 🤷🏻‍♀️

  5. It’s always amazing how the mind works in solving these puzzles…..initially had no clue to cartoon solve, but kept poking around the “up on the roof” idea to get UP as a possible first word. Then, somehow I thought of the twins and the word TWO….and the rest is history and another blind solve. Anagrams were pretty easy, except had to do a mini back-in for OVERDO. Talk about a song being spot on !!! Am very familiar with melody, but don’t think I would have ever guessed the title/lyrics. Was a good year for Doo-Wop. Enjoy Hump Day !!

    • Hey Terry…The word TWO…You always have to pay attention to those quotes. The song? Tks…I think it’s a great old tune. And it’s been on my playlist for a long time…Brooklyn memories…Enjoy your day too, Terry! 🧍🏻🧍🏻🙋🏻‍♀️

  6. I kept seeing Doover instead of Overdo, duh. Everything else worked out well. Wind warnings with gusts over 50 mph out here in flyover country. “When this old world starts getting me down” intro to Up on the Roof is appropriate in these times. Until next time, have fun.

  7. Good morning Jumblers – my Molly slept in a little today so i couldn’t comment early – such a fun puzzle, at first I thought of “double trouble” but letters didn’t add up then the answer came ” UP TWO NO GOOD” – how cute – loved it ! But I miss seeing the cartoon, anyway even though it’s cloudy –
Have a sunny day ! Until tomorrow !

    • Hi Suz,..I’m not following what you mean by not seeing the cartoon…🤷🏻‍♀️Wishing you a sunny day too. 🧍🏻🧍🏻🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Nice and easy puzzle this morning. When I saw the quotation mark, I knew that “two” would be the right word, then just had to find a place for all those other “o’s”. Have a good Wednesday all!

    • Bingo, Miss Betty! 👏🏻👏🏻 …And a good Wednesday to you too. 🧍🏻🧍🏻🙋🏻‍♀️

  9. Good evening. Late late entry. Just now able to get back to jumble and knock another easy one off. No blind solve though. Really enjoyed your song choice Angela. Always felt that song should be followed up by ”Under The Boardwalk”. Many years ago on 101FM while I was driving and looking for a phone to call in that request someone beat me to it. I had a good chuckle over that. Take care.

    • Tks, Paul…and I agree. One always puts me in mind of the other. Brooklyn and summer….Hope you had a good day, Paul…and wishing you pleasant dreams..🙋🏻‍♀️
