    🛩 The Wright Brothers no strangers here, they’re practically mainstays,
    They’ve been featured in our puzzles with tales of GLORY days…
    Their trials and tribulations…the way they’d sometimes HEDGE,
    And how they kept believing even when critics would dredge…
    Up story after story in ITALIC ‘bout their fails,
    Until success was finally gained…and then the Brothers hailed
    They didn’t FLINCH…though bottom line, it took them several tries…
    Then finally at Kitty Hawk the Wrights were FLYING HIGH! 🛩

And I could easily go into great detail about past puzzles, etc…but I think it’s better we just get down to business…ORVILLE be here all day…

    So, unlike our characters, today we’re seeing anagrams taking their maiden flight into Jumble lexicon…and despite them being new, they posed no problems for the Early Birds. There may have been a very, very slight SLANT of the head with ITALIC, but they all still finished with a FLOURISH…But our solve? Definitely easy, BREEZY! The dialogue…”On our way”…”Felt like I was soaring”…? And the euphoric smiles, as Orville, at left, and Wilbur… HIGH Five (a great, whimsical clue)! …one another, casting their fate to the WIND? …The Wright Brothers were…FLYING HIGH! https://tinyurl.com/2p8n627y

    …And out on the waters of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, the small fishing village on an isolated strip of beach on the mid-Atlantic coast,..we see the Signature Sinking Sailboat…and we’re once again in DUNE with all that is WRIGHT with the world…

    • I want to buy a pin showing both the Ukraine flag and American flag, to wear on my shirt and/or hat.

      I donated $100 in March to the Ukraine government (via the Ukraine Embassy, Washington DC). I plan to donate more periodically. Let us all hope the noble folk of Ukraine can eventually drive out monster Putin and his unscrupulous oligarch Russians.

  3. 🤷🏻‍♂️ At first FLYING HIGH after the banners promoting their GLORY Days concert were being flown over the HEDGE, they couldn’t help but FLINCH when they saw the ITALIC printed missives being torn down by the storm…🤷🏻‍♂️

    🤦🏻‍♂️ He taught a class in printmaking…ITALIC was on tap,
    He figured he would HEDGE his bets, and it would be a snap…
    He definitely did FLINCH though and it shot down all his GLORY,
    When results were hardly legible…a definite sad story
    No one could grasp the knack of it…and he let out a sigh…
    So back to printing block letters…for him no FLYING HIGH…🤦🏻‍♂️

I mentioned that since this puzzle is about flying which is why I’m up so early because my head is flying and spinning around as I’m excited from getting the puzzle three days in a row ! I guess I’m becoming a true jumbler after all ! I love the song pic Angela and the puzzle today – thank you – until tomorrow – have a sunny day !

  6. Good morning taco-Tuesday ! Last week I did have some tacos on Tuesday ! Very good ! Ok this is the second jumble in a row this week that kept me FLYING HIGH ! The only anagram that I had a FLINCH with was ITALIC and no matter how well I trimmed the HEDGE , I saw no GLORY in getting it ! But that was ok , cause the jumble was as Wright as the brothers ! So , they left me FLYING HIGH ! So everyone have some tacos and a great taco-Tuesday !!!

  8. Struggled mightily with Italic but able to back into it by guessing Flying High. Much to do this morning so I will simply say good morning from the increasingly windy Great Plains.

  9. Took a quick look….and yet that very easy Jumble cartoon eluded me. Quickly started the anagrams when the Non Compos Mentis “Duh” moment hit me square in the eyes. Oh well, on to tomorrow. Great song choice…and of course, we remember the Nat King Cole version, tooo !!! Have a great day

    🚲 Starting off with a business of bikes,
    They built them according to likes…
    But to fly was their dream,
    And together this team…
    Kept at it despite many strikes! 🚲

    🛩 Their desire was to leave the ground,
    And determined a way to be found…
    They gave it their best,
    Put their minds to the test…
    Eventually? …Heavenly bound! 🛩

  14. Nice and easy Jumble this morning. A few years ago my book group read a good book about the Wright Brothers by David Mc Cullough. They were really interesting characters and true visionaries. Happy Tuesday all!
