  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…
🤦🏻‍♀️ HE NEEDS TO CLOCK OUT…IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE!🤦🏻‍♀️

🎶 One of these days I’m gonna blow my top…And that sucker, he’s gonna pay…Lord, I can’t wait to see their faces when I get the nerve to say…Take this job and shove it…I ain’t working here no more…🎶 “Take This Job And Shove It” – Johnny Paycheck 1977 https://tinyurl.com/yckyac95

    🤦🏻‍♀️ “He’s fragile as a TEACUP”…his wife couldn’t help but think,
The IMAGE of her macho-man increasingly did sink…
This job of his she’d now EQUATE to something like a brick,
It weighed him down…but he don’t see…his head is definitely THICK…
But listening to this same old song…her brow now tightly knit?
She says, “Both the job and your whining..it’s time that you QUIT IT”! 🤦🏻‍♀️

So…GAMIE, which we’ve seen ten times since 2013? Uh… Maybe we ought to QUIT IT with that one, no?…Just sayin’…But the saving grace? Our other three are brand spanking new!…And except for a little crack in the Early Bird’s armor with TEACUP, the JOB of unscrambling our anagrams was handled pretty quickly…Something about those compound words that makes it a little hard sometimes to put two and two together though…so to speak…No pun intended! But anyway…the solve? After all that dialogue Jeff WORKED in, it’d be a crying shame if y’all didn‘t see this one coming from a mile away…He definitely EARNED his keep with this one!

So, dinner table. We find our couple, SIGHmon and DOLOROUS beating a dead horse. Our dialogue tells us that this isn’t the first time that dinner’s GROAN cold over the topic of Sigh’s job. And from the look on Dolorous’s face, she just may take one of those chops and chop him with it! I mean it’s not like we don’t feel sorry for Sigh…I’m sure some of us have walked in his BLUES one time or another..but let’s face it, Folks…when Dolorous asked…”More wine”? …She definitely didn’t mean this! So you can’t blame her for telling him to QUIT IT…And pass the peas…

Oh…And there’s a framed picture on the wall of a cat. Cats…two days in a row…Hmm. And it looks vaguely familiar…but you know me, I’m not a cat person. Could possibly be Blofeld’s Persian from the James Bond films, but I’m not sure. And there’s a tiny image in the upper left hand corner of the frame, which I’m not sure of either. Obviously it all means something, but what… and why?…So if anyone can DRAW a bead on it, feel free to let us know. Me? I’m coming up empty…so I’m just gonna QUIT IT…

So…There you have it Folks… Have a good one. Be well, stay safe…and my JOB here is done! 🤦🏻‍♀️

    I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦

  2. 👻 As she sipped from her TEACUP, she sat looking out the window at the THICK fog which she thought could EQUATE to smoke…and as her mind conjured up an IMAGE of a ghost appearing, she knew it was time to QUIT IT…👻

🌩 The clouds were really THICK today, they seemed to come alive,
And she’d EQUATE one IMAGE to a really large beehive…
She then noticed a TEACUP, and maybe a catcher’s mitt…
She wished she could keep looking but the clock told her QUIT IT! 🌩

  3. Boy did I have fun with today’s jumble ! The last two days were a lot to think about , but todays is how I like em , fun and entertaining ! The anagrams came to me not in a THICK manner . They gave me the IMAGE that I was used to getting with these ! The only one that didn’t quite EQUATE for me was TEACUP , so I had a CUP of TEA and the jumble was there and no way was I gonna QUIT IT ! So I hope I’m not repeating this song , but it’s the one that came to me as I solved the jumble 🎵 take this job and shove it , I ain’t working here no more 🎵 Johnny Paycheck 1977 , everyone have a great weekend !!!

  4. 🤦🏻‍♀️ The complaining just became too much.
And her last nerve this time he did touch…
She said, “You need to quit,
    ‘Cause I have to admit…
    That your griping’s becoming a crutch”! 🤦🏻‍♀️

🤷🏻‍♀️ It was meal after meal the same tune,
And another dinner’s set to ruin…
    So her patience ran out,
She grew tired of his pout…
And her displeasure this time was strewn…🤷🏻‍♀️

🤦🏻‍♀️ He complained ‘bout his boss once again,
And his wife this time reached a dead end…
    All he did was intone,
    The same story…and moan..
As her ear once again he did bend! 🤦🏻‍♀️

  5. This puzzle was fun and I couldnt believe I got the puzzle before the anagrams ! It popped right out at me ! Well, Molly, my swiss mountain dog, was awake way before i wanted to be up ! So I could’ve said Molly ” QUIT IT”, go back to sleep for awhile – it’s too early, but she won me over and while she’s eating – I’m doing this puzzle ! Have a gorgeous weekend everyone – and a sunny day !

  6. A pretty easy blind solve this morning, although as I scrolled through the puzzle, I did take a peek at the anagrams and saw the letter “Q” glaring at me. Was puzzled for a moment over TEACUP but that was the only hiccup for the morning….as with other weather reports, Central Texas will be lovely as can be today….Now?? Gonna Two-step off to the breakfast bar. See you tomorrow.

  7. Like some others, I struggled with TEACUP, and had to back into it after getting the cartoon. Gotta remember to look for the compound words. Agree with Mig. I look forward to the Jumble as part of my morning routine. Happy National Backyard and National Corndog Day. Time to get outside and eat a corn dog. Have a great weekend!

  8. Good morning. I got the solution before I finally got teacup. Knowing the two letters I needed I finally got that last and easy word. It was well hidden. Enjoyed your song choice Angela. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  9. So it seems he has a pet peeve
He should ask the union to grieve
Take a stand, make a point
    Or he’s quitting the joint
And give his wife a reprieve!

Filing a grievance with the union – may not be done as much in USA as in other places.

  10. Had to pause on teacup but after getting that anagram the cartoon was a virtual blind solve, surprisingly so, especially since my printed edition has been canceled on Saturdays.

  11. Another vote here for teacup as the stickler today. Backed into it after solving the cartoon answer. Happy Saturday to all!
