  1. Good Morning, Everyone..🧟‍♂️ SHELL-ey SHOCKED! 🧟‍♂️

    🎶 What’s NEW?….How is the world treating you…🎶 “What’s New”? – Mr Frank Sinatra 1958 https://tinyurl.com/bdzp9zz2

🧟‍♂️ Miss Shelley had a character that she helped bring to life,
And ‘tween him and the Dr…the story had its strife…
The MOTIVE for her writing it? She had an open mind,
Not one to AVOID fantasy… Voilà! It’s Frankenstein!
She found a way to GOVERN thoughts that EAGLE-like had soared,
The book with all its many twists has definitely endured…
She published it anonymously…for back those many years…
Women were thought to never hold such a NOVEL IDEA! 🧟‍♂️

There’s only one old anagram this morning..but it’s a MONSTER…GALEE was last seen in 2020, but it goes all the way back to 1955, Yes, 1955…and it’s graced newspaper PAGES close to 20 times. Now that’s a CLASSIC anagram…Our solve? Mary Shelley? https://tinyurl.com/2pe5pfff …Frankenstein? ** The classic NOVEL… Her never before heard IDEA? The creating and being creative (ie) NOVEL? …It’s definitely all WRTTEN out for us…Mary’s character was definitely a NOVEL IDEA! And a really easy one to READ…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Be well, stay safe… And I’ll leave you with a bit of GHOUL-proof humor…Dr. Frankenstein entered a bodybuilding competition…but soon found out that he had seriously misunderstood the objective…🧟‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️

** When opening the link, if a blurb pops up asking you to subscribe, just click the down arrow at right, and it’ll give you access. It’s a very interesting READ…

  2. 🤷🏻‍♀️Feeling he was unable to GOVERN himself properly at the EAGLE Scout meetings, whatever his MOTIVE, his Mother decided to AVOID future problems by grounding him …not a NOVEL IDEA, but hopefully effective…🤷🏻‍♀️

👨🏻‍⚖️They elected him to GOVERN, their MOTIVE one of need,
His knowledge and his EAGLE eye was part of this guy’s creed
And since there was no salary…his time he’d volunteer…
They figured they’d AVOID dissent….with this NOVEL IDEA…👨🏻‍⚖️

  3. Good morning ! There’s no way I could get over the hump-day today because I couldn’t see any MOTIVE . I tried to GOVERN all the letters to AVOID cheating , but the EAGLE did not land ! And I suppose that was a NOVEL IDEA ! So 🎵he did the mash . He did the monster (the monster mash) it was a graveyard smash 🎵 everyone have a great hump-day monster Wednesday !!

  4. Clever puzzle which left me guessing, unable to accomplish a blind solve. Easy anagrams led to puzzle solve. Nice song, Angela….Linda Ronstadt had a popular recording of that, too…I think from her Nelson Riddle arranged album of the early 80’s. Hope weather doesn’t get the best of us in the next few days.

    • Tks, Terry. And yes, Linda Ronstadt definitely did it justice..🧟‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️

  5. Not sure why, but the first 3 words (AVOID, EAGLE, AND GOVERN) were all challenging to me today; maybe the impending cold weather kept my brain from functioning! At least the cartoon answer came quickly, as I saw the word IDEA. Happy Groundhog Day! Time to watch the Groundhog Day movie again with Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell…https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Groundhog_Day_(film) Have a great Wednesday!

  6. Puzzle had me thinking of Young Frankenstein and that always makes me laugh. Especially, the song and dance to “Putting on the Ritz.” If I Govern my attitude to Avoid sad thoughts that will give me the Motive to fly like an Eagle all day. That’s a Novel Idea. Cold and windy out here today but no snow in OO!

  7. Good morning. No problem with the words but then not having my morning coffee or breakfast I decided to go right to the answer. I only looked at it briefly and drawing a blank I moved on. Enjoyed your extras Angela. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  8. 🧟‍♂️ Readers enrapt through all of its pages,
Shelley’s novel has spanned many ages…
    With a story quite rare,
    Frankenstein did endear…
Throughout the book’s novel exchanges! 🧟‍♂️

  9. Easy solve this morning. It’s been a good week so far. Like OO, I thought of the movie “Young Frankenstein” which was just hysterical. The cast was just superb. Mel Brooks is a genius. Hope all of you in the stormy weather stay warm and safe. Happy Wednesday all!

  10. This one has a few shadow solutions, some of which could produce additional NOVEL IDEAs. For example, ALIEN DOVE. This is a hybrid of Mary Shelly’s monster with The Birds from Alfred Hitchcock, with an outer space theme. I’m surprised she gave out her novel secrets like that; it was a NAIVE DOLE. This I believe was in the late 1800s, so no VIDEO LANE for the monster. The script may require some music, a VIOLA NEED.
