  1. Good Morning, Everyone…. I hope this finds you well…

🎶 And WINDY has stormy eyes…That flash at the sound of lies…And WINDY has wings to FLY…Above the clouds (above the clouds)…🎶 “Windy” – The Association 1967 https://tinyurl.com/mwye288u

👒 Perhaps Wendy should have realized that a hat with such a brim,
Would easily blow onto the beach TRACT and maybe even skim…
And this guy?… I’m not sure of…he may just AUTHOR some FRAUD,
Wendy shouldn’t be so taken with that smile of his so broad…
Remember the old PARLOR and the Spider and the Fly?
I just can’t help but be suspicious of this grinning guy…
Let’s hope she doesn’t get drawn in by this man I’ll call Matt…
‘Cause anything can go amiss AT THE DROP OF A HAT! 👒

So, today we’ve a split decision. Two old anagrams, two new. DARUF was seen in 2020, and CATTR in 2019. But all four were a BREEZE. The solve? DROPPED right into my lap…This idiom has been FLOATING AROUND for years! https://tinyurl.com/jrhhfzs8

And we’re on the beach…So, do you see what I mean? Notice all the spiral lines Jeff’s drawn from WINDY’s, I mean Wendy’s head? That hat is still spinning. I mean it’s not like it was halfway down the beach and Matt caught it and returned it to her. He was right there. So of course he picked it up AT THE DROP OF A HAT…But what was he doing so close? He’s right on top of her!…If you ask me what we have here is a stalker…with a smile…the worst kind!… And I don’t know about you, and I hate to make WAVES… but if it were me…and some guy COASTed up to me like that? It definitely would’ve BLOWN my mind!

And of course…you can be SHORE that if we’re anywhere near the water, Jeff’s Signature Sinking Sailboat will always make an apPIERance!

So…There you have it Folks, Done! Be well, stay safe…and let’s all face the day with some GUSTo…And be SHORE to make it a good one! 👒🙋🏻‍♀️

Oh…And I think I should be PACIFIC about something…After the first track started playing in my head, this happened…More music…But since I’d already named my guy Matt, https://tinyurl.com/2p92f5bm and I’ve already used this in a past puzzle… https://tinyurl.com/2p8uv3b4 I stuck with my original choice. It’s what I’ve always done..And this cacophony that goes on in my head is starting to get out of control…😉🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 📙 AT THE DROP OF A HAT, the AUTHOR set himself up in the PARLOR, and began to read from his new novel about FRAUD in the farming industry, titled…”One TRACT Mind”…📙

🤷🏻‍♂️ They all sat in the PARLOR, to hear the AUTHOR speak,
Some called the guy a FRAUD…that his fifteen minutes had peaked…
That way too long a TRACT of time had passed…but still they came,
Most likely just to see if he’d outlived that one-time fame
But it seemed that a good number thought def right off the bat…
That yes, he would deceive them….and AT THE DROP OF A HAT! 🤷🏻‍♂️

  3. Good morning. Everything is back to normal. Easy jumble from the words to the cartoon answer. It’s amazing that when you hear a song 🎶 it transports you back in time. I believe I was installing the elevators in the Belmont Plaza Hotel at the time. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  4. Entertaining puzzle today with a blind solve….Well, after taking a little peek at anagrams and ruling out BY and ON to start the phrase. Thought it might be AT….and the common phrase unfolded. That was good news because I had to back in AUTHOR. Great song, Angela. but unlike Paul, can’t remember what I did even yesterday afternoon !!! Listened to bits of your other two songs….must be folk song day in the northeast. A little mix of winter weather coming tomorrow….Brrr !!!

  5. You know what it’s like at the beach
When the wind blows your hat out of reach
    It goes whipping along
When the wind is real strong
And there are times when you have to beseech…..

Would somebody stop my hat please?
It’s being carried away by the breeze.
If it blows into the sea
    Then it’s over for me
And my head will burn by degrees!

  6. At the drop of a hat was a quick love as we’re the anagrams, except for author, that looked like throat at first. But lacking the H for the cartoon solution.led to the correct solution of that anagram.

  7. 💨 With a strong gust of wind it was gone,
    The hat she depended upon…
To help ward off the rays,
    Of the bright sunny day…
Luckily it was caught by Don Juan! 💨

🤷🏻‍♀️ Anytime you’ve a hat such as this,
    There’s a chance something can go amiss…
With a brim that’s so wide,
    Common sense it may glide…
As has happened to our Jumble Miss! 🤷🏻‍♀️

👒 She was looking for her hair to stay,
    Protected from the windy day…
But her hat soon took flight,
And her hair looked a fright…
But it gave our guy his move to play! 👒

    • Very witty Angela! Hope your weather is reasonable today. Sunny here and above freezing so lots of melting which will certainly reduce the amount of snow piled up. Temps to drop later though.

      • Tk you, Helen. It’s warmed up a bit, but there’s talk of plunging temps, and another storm headed this way. Winter! 🤷🏻‍♀️

  8. Make that 4. I too saw Throat first and had to back into author. Other than that hiccup no problem. Happy Wednesday to all!

    • Throat…no hiccup? 👏🏻👏🏻! Happy Wednesday to you too, Betty! 👒🙋🏻‍♀️
