  1. Good Morning, Everyone… 🗑 ONE MAN’S TRASH…🗑

🎶 HAUL or nothing at HAUL…..If it’s love, there ain’t no in between…🎶 “All or Nothing at All” – (with apologies to) Mr Frank Sinatra (circa) 1966 https://tinyurl.com/aw5zzkez

🗑 He’s ready for retirement, he’s put in all his time,
Where once an HOURLY worker, he’s progressed into his prime…
He started way back in the day – no FEMALE hauled trash then,
He’s seen a lot of things change…and then some change back again…
He’s tolerated AWFUL smells…the rain, the sleet, the snow,
The years of all his SALAD days… the line he’d always tow
He’s hanging up his gloves now, and they’ll def recall his name…
He gave 40 years of service…now he’s in the “HAUL” OF FAME! 🗑

One man’s trash…is another man’s treasure…and today we get the treasure! All new anagrams! HAULleluia! …And they were all PICKED UP on easily…

So it’s a little retirement celebration for Dan, the Garbage Man. And we find ourselves in what appears to be the lounge of the local Sanitation Garage. Adorning the walls are photos of…as our foreman refers to them, “the other great Sanitation Specialists” …and Jeff’s whimsy made me think of Ed Norton, the beloved sewer worker from the old Honeymooner’s Show. Norton always referred to himself as an “Engineer, in Subterranean Sanitation”… https://tinyurl.com/5dkdmutn and you had to love it. Same thing here, I guess…Anyway…after putting in his 40 years, Dan, a legend as he’s being called, is retiring, and that picture of him HAULing that trash can will take an obviously coveted spot up there on that wall…He’s done a BANG up job, and he’ll become a member of the Sanitation “HAUL” OF FAME! Congratulations, Dan! …You’ve proven it CAN be done! And you’ll have that requisite wristwatch too…now that you don’t have a need to CLOCK IN any longer…

So, There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, stay safe…and here’s to all those just starting out as Sanitation Specialists… I heard the training’s not all that hard…they just PICK IT UP as they go along…🗑🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🥗 Being the only FEMALE named to the restaurant’s SALAD HALL OF FAME, she knew she’d feel AWFUL if she didn’t keep up the HOURLY pace…🥗

🤷🏻‍♀️ The orders came in HOURLY, things strayed from the old ways,
She had the fondest memories of the old SALAD days…
The FEMALE staff, so organized, had things running so smooth,
But now things seem so AWFUL…that it often ruins the mood…
New management has changed so much…and it’s really a shame…
Production’s down …These managers won’t make the HALL OF FAME! 🤷🏻‍♀️

  3. Happy ‘ hump-day ‘ ! Great mid-week start for Christmas weekend . The anagrams were not awful except for that one . I just couldn’t get it. It was AWFUL ! The rest came ok ! As soon as I saw the cartoon and the pictures of former trash collectors, the saying ‘ wall of fame ‘ came to me , and that pretty much helped solve it . It was fun ! Well everyone get ready for Christmas and you 🎶 better watch out , you better not pout , you better not cry, I’m telling you why , Santa Claus is coming to town 🎶 have a good Wednesday !!

  4. Good morning. Bring on tomorrow. No problem with either the words or cartoon answer. Can’t go wrong with listening to old blue eyes in the morning. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  5. I will parrot Paul and others this morning …as we relate an extremely easy Jumble. Love those confidence builders !!! Christmas countdown continues, made enjoyable with a Sinatra song to hum along to.

  6. All the words jumped out at me very quickly today which is nice. Haul of Fame was also an easy guess so the Jumble guys were very good to us and deserve whatever Santa brings them. Hourly employees, male or Female, gets some Awful duties during their Salad days. Keep plugging away and you might get a nice watch like Dan and your picture in the Haul of Fame. Unseasonably warm in the Great Plains with highs of 55 next two days. Maybe we can skip winter and go straight to Spring?

  7. Thankful for the blind solve and easy words today! Gets me going earlier on the few Christmas “Must Get Done’s” I have left to do! Have a Perfect Day! 🎄🎅🏼🧑🏻‍🎄🦌☃️

  8. 🗑 40 years our man hauled away trash,
    Now the time’s come…retirement cash!
    He’s lifted his last can,
    He’s a popular man…
And for him they’re holding a small bash…🗑

🗑 Dan worked hard and established a name,
    Now he’s leaving…and it’s such a shame…
    For he’ll be sorely missed,
    And this puzzle…the gist?
Old Dan enters the trash “HAUL” OF FAME! 🗑

    🗑 Sanitation…the cities all need,
And old Dan he def lived by the creed…
That clean streets are a must,
So those trash cans he ‘d thrust…
Now he’s part of a prestigious breed! 🗑

🗑 40 years …and he gave it his all,
People’s garbage away he would haul…
But the time now has come,
And his work days are done…
So his picture goes up on the wall! 🗑

🗑 All those cans that he’s lifted for years,
Earned respect for him amongst his peers…
So now as he takes leave,
    Well deserved the reprieve…
His coworkers send him off to cheers! 🗑

  9. Instead of trash collectors, this Jumble could have used Hawaiian dancers. Then the answer would be HULA OF FAME. So this Jumble could be recycled to another one with Hawaiian dancers; all four 5 and 6 letter words would be the same.

    • I don’t know how you come up with this stuff, but I actually caught “some” your wave today! Hahahah! 🍍🌊🏄🏻 Too funny! 😜

  10. Yes, for me it’s been a long haul
Dating back when I answered the call
    Those bins big and small
    I’ve lifted them all
Now I’ll happily enter the hall!

  11. Ironically today is trash day in our neighborhood. So after taking the receptacle to the street, the anagrams and cartoon were virtually a Monday level quick blind solve,on a Wednesday no less.

  12. Easy breezy one today. Angela, your reference to Ed Norton (Art Carney) on the Honeymooners reminded me of his signature song “We sing the song of the sewer, of the sewer we sing this song . We stand man to man with shovel in hand, to keep things rolling along”. My father loved that show. Happy Wednesday all!

    • Betty…I can’t count the number of times I’ve seen every one of the Honeymooner’s episodes. I have them all recorded, and I’m pretty sure I can repeat the dialogue of each of them verbatim. And once again our serendipity…The 45 of this is in my Father’s ❤️collection… https://tinyurl.com/yyxjxjcx Wishing you a Happy Wednesday too…Enjoy…🙋🏻‍♀️
