Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well….
⏰ FROM CHOW TIME …TO CIAO TIME! ⏰
🎶 Does anybody really know what TIME it is…Does anybody really care (care about time)…Everybody’s WORKING…(I don’t care)…I don’t care (about time)…About time (no, no..I DON’T CARE…🎶 “Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is” – Chicago 1969 https://tinyurl.com/2zzrpn66
⏰ The workers from the POSTAL room had lunch as a whole crew,
Most of them dined on pizza, but there also was FONDUE…
They all passed on the SUGARY drinks, on a low-cal campaign.
Attempts were being made to PUMMEL off pandemic gain…
But now that they had eaten, here and there an EYELID dropped,
The clock told them it’s back to work…but some were just too pooped…
But here at the old Clock Factory, this group knew all too well,
That “time” was of the essence, and no longer should they dwell…
It didn’t take an EXPERT to see that they’ve had their fill,
But lunch was just an hour…and too well they knew the drill
So despite feeling way too stuffed to give it up with ease…
The clock had definitely run out on these FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES! ⏰
So…Today with all old favorites on the menu, we’re faced with four new anagrams, which is a FEAST, I mean a feat, within itself…We know doing this 365 can’t be easy..The two repeat anagrams: UDONEF, last seen in 2018, and RXTEPE from back in 2012. And while the Early Birds ATE IT ALL UP, there was a slight pause here and there, but nothing to write home about. The solve? That went down easily…Between the clock, alluding to TIME, the man saying he’s STUFFED, i.e., FULL, and the use of the word WORKERS = EMPLOYEES? This was definitely SERVED UP on that silver PLATTER…FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES!
The Gems? You have to get a kick out of the little pizza saver https://tinyurl.com/2r5v57ex in the box…it’s a great touch, but I’m loving the logo on the sleepy girl’s shirt. It’s a little clock reading 3…Strange though that she’s the only one sporting it…’Cause you’d think that on company TIME, they’d all be wearing the same shirts…Hmm…maybe they just RAN OUT OF TIME shirts…Have a great day, Everyone…Be well, stay safe… And I’m reminded of what’s said to be most people’s favorite time of the day…11:59:59. Definitely second to noon. ⏰🙋🏻♀️
👨🏻🍳 After sampling the SUGARY-tasting FONDUE, they stood nervously watching the chef PUMMEL the counter, with his EYELID twitching and on the verge of going POSTAL…and it became all too clear that he wasn’t an EXPERT at choosing the FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES he’d hired as sous chefs…👨🏻🍳
🤷🏻♂️ The POSTAL Club was meeting, and FONDUE was being served,
They’d asked for something SUGARY when dinner was reserved…
One diner then, his EYELID wide, upset began to PUMMEL,
The table …but the others said…”Your vision? It’s too tunnel…
While none of us are EXPERT here, and yes, we might agree,
That fondue’s not the ideal choice the chef thought it would be…
Whatever it is made him go ahead and change the menu,
And shelf our request and instead decide to serve us fondue?
It may not be his fault at all… perhaps this dish of cheese…
Was chosen not by him…but by the FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES”! 🤷🏻♂️
No blind solve….or puzzle solve at all for this Jumbler today. Anagrams speedily solved with an extra minute devoted to POSTAL. Like others, took out TIME, but couldn’t put anything else together. So all in all, not a great Jumble week. As discussed before, with the subject of TIME, there are countless songs to choose from. Good job Angela, I’m sure. Have a great Sunday
Tk you, Terry. Wishing you a great Sunday too. Take care…⏰🙋🏻♀️
I am really glad our guys are back.
Let’s see how this week evolves!-
Good Sunday funday ! I had a hard time with EYELID and SUGARY and the last word EXPERT , I thought was Exerpt , which I think is a word . Had no problem with the other words . Now the puzzle was very plentiful of letters , I got TIME , Felt , Sleepy and the only word that worked was TIME . I thought because they worked at a clock factory and they were sleepy or TIME to Sleep , but FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES not there for me ! Oh well , I tried ! The weather is rain all day here and I’m retired so full-time employees is a thing of the past , but Sleepy Time is not ! Everyone have a “Sunday Funday” !
Same to you, Jim…⏰🙋🏻♀️
Hello Angela. Hope you’re enjoying some pleasant weather. Bright and sunny here. Here is today’s loonie limerick:
Though they’d rather go home after lunch
These folks are the full-time bunch
If they look at the clock
They’re in for a shock
It’s a while before “out” they punch!
Hi Helen. Tk you. Enjoy your day…⏰🙋🏻♀️
⏰ The old Hickory, Dickory Dock…
The employees need heed that old clock,
For it’s showing it’s 1,
Work again has begun…
Despite them feeling it’s all a crock! ⏰
⏰ The time’s come for the dining to end,
Back to work time’s about to descend…
Yes, they’re feeling quite stuffed,
And they may huff and puff…
But there’s no way to try and pretend! ⏰
⏰ As the pizza’s down to slices two,
And the sleepiness begins to brew…
There’s no way they can stay,
There’s the rest of the day…
And the work… there’s no way to eschew! ⏰
Fondue got me again even though we have had fondue parties long ago in our youth. Then having all the letters, the only cartoon word I could get was “time”.Have a great Thanksgiving week!
Tks, Professor…Same to you. ⏰🙋🏻♀️
Had trouble with EYELID, until I remembered my own rule…that if an anagram has 2 “E’s” and a Y, to always check for a compound word with “EYE” in it. The cartoon was easy, because as Angela has said, always look for the word that is missing from the cartoon dialog… So TIME had to be part of the answer for the CLOCK factory. Thanks for the tip!
YW, Brad. Have a great day…⏰🙋🏻♀️
Clever puzzle today. No problem with the anagrams. Right away I figured that “time” would be one of the words. Studied the dialogue : “stuffed” led to “full” and “workers” to “employees” so all in all it was a fun solve. Have a good day all!
Gotta love that dialogue! Wishing you a good day too, Betty…⏰🙋🏻♀️
Good afternoon. Got the words after awhile and was stuck on the cartoon answer. I had full time but left the house to play bocce. First thing back was to try and solve jumble and after awhile I finally succeeded. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe. Ten of us went to Whippany Station in New Jersey for a Polar Express train ride. I had my youngest grandchild and part of the group was one of my granddaughters with my great grand child. We had a good time. They act out the movie and even serve hot chocolate. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.
It’s hard to believe that it’s that time of year already, Paul. I’m glad to hear that everyone had a great time. Take care and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Hey Paul…I’ve been to that magical place a few times myself, and I loved it. I may have had a better time than some of the kids! 😉…And Kudos 👏🏻👏🏻 on the solve…Have a good night. Paul…Be well and stay safe…🚂🙋🏻♀️
Good evening. Thanks Mike and Angela for your comments. The enjoyment is watching the children light up with joy in all that’s going on. They really put on a great show. Take care
Totally agree, Paul. Through a child’s eyes…Enjoy your night…🚂🙋🏻♀️
You’re welcome, Paul. We tried to get tickets to see the Polar Express a few years back but they sell out almost instantly and were never able to. Hope all is well.
Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well….
