(I’m tossing off the LADLE, there’s no place for it to fit,
I tried, but trust me all I got was teeth starting to grit)…
We have our happy tourists, and to those who miss the travel,
Please don’t choke up…you’ll end up with a THROAT sounding like gravel…

I guess it’s just all the TIME that’s been lost, the friends and Family I miss seeing, the loss of hugging and kissing people, the lack of freedom to travel…my Dad. Not to mention this beautiful piece of music. My God, weren’t the BIG Bands amazing? Anyway, it’s the whole ball of wax. So just in case any of you are feeling a little bit sentimental right now…well hey, we’re only human…
Words. All sweet repeats. And while the EBs didn’t choke up on any of them, I could swear that I noticed some blinking…(But I suspect it was over the music, although no one’s gonna admit to it)…Either way, they all rose to the occasion and came out WAY ON TOP. As for the solve? An easy, breezy ALL-TIME HIGH!
So…Ben, Ben, Ben…again! How many times has it BEN now? A lot. And I’m definitely too verklempt to go researching. But with the lack of masks, and the throng of people seen in our cartoon, I suppose maybe it’s TIME we go back. And since as of August, 2nd, fully vaccinated Americans are allowed into England without a mandatory quarantine, I guess business may be booming…and at an ALL-TIME HIGH! As for the woman’s comment about the scaffolding? I’m sure you’re all aware that the Elizabeth Tower, which houses Ben, has BEN under renovation since 2017. But I’m a little confused here. Ok…Jeff’s Gems? Besides the woman clad in the Union Jack T-shirt sporting a Fanny pack, and her companion admiring the photo he’s just taken with his phone, there’s really not all that much on the HIGH front. Ben’s reading 4 PM, and all the little souvenir towers seem to read either 3 PM, or 12:15…it’s a toss-UP…But you know, it’s funny…I’m no Anglophile, but I think I’d like to have one of those little towers. It just might LIFT my spirits…

I don’t think business is exactly booming but it’s definitely improving. The entire UK would love to see the return of more visitors.

My wife’s brother and his wife,and her sister and her husband visited Europe and England last month,and were admitted to London w their vaccinations,but only after filling out a lot of forms.
I think all the paper work is in case there’s a need for tracing. Better safe than sorry…🇬🇧🙋🏻♀️

They said he was a HERMIT who spoke with a gravelly THROAT,
So surprised they were to see him there with an old gravy boat…
He also had a LADLE… they both lacked a modern GLITZ,
But as far as antiques go here, they fit right in without a hitch…
He put them up for auction, and the bids began to fly…
The winning bid surprised him…it was def an ALL TIME HIGH! 🤷🏻♂️

Just heard about an earthquake out in CA……. don’t know if it was near you or not. Hope all is well.
Good weekend jumble ! I just tried to add some GLITZ to the food I was eating cause I couldn’t get it on my plate, then i saw a LADLE and that helped , and I felt like a HERMIT cause I couldn’t get the last anagram so I rolled my eyes and swallowed my food and the bite was too big and I looked the fourth word and it came to me that I needed my THROAT to complete the jumble, then I was at an ALL TIME HIGH !!! It’s the weekend !!!!! Everyone enjoy and have a great one !
