    🏠 They’ve broken ground on their new home, so there’s no need to GROWL,
    And they’re all looking happy…we see smiles and no scowls…
    They hear the THUMP of cranes and such, an EYEFUL that’s for sure,
    And Dad says he can see it…perhaps ‘visioning his door…
    There’s still so much work will ABOUND, but here now, on this spot…
    A Home Sweet Home we soon will see…which they like A “HOLE” LOT! 🏠

    After the ambiguity surrounding our last two puzzles, today we have a HOLE in one! There’s a hole, there’s a lot…there’s an easy, breezy solve…So I’m hoping it BUILDS confidence for anyone who’s been on the FENCE the past two days…And with that I’ll open the DOOR to our puzzle…

    Despite the puzzle’s theme today being about something new…it didn’t carry through to our words…We’ve been there, done that…and except for the slightest tick at ABOUND…the Early Birds OWNED this one! They had the HOLE puzzle done in record time…Which we hope will hold true for our optimistic family here today…Because you know the old STORY about building a house…There’s never any CONCRETE evidence that things will go smoothly…

    So, truth be told, there’s not much I can CONSTRUCTively add to today’s puzzle. We see two homes across the street, and there’s the excavator, the roll away dumpster…and the excited family. And except for the kid looking to climb down into the basement, I think we’re on pretty SOLID GROUND. They’re standing on their LOT, and the HOLE’s been dug….And they definitely like it…A “HOLE” LOT. Short and sweet…and we’ve hit pay DIRT with this one!

    So, There you have it Folks, Done. Have a good one, Everybody. Be well, stay safe…and remember…When building a home? Don’t take anything for GRANITE…🏠🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Because he knew there’d be A WHOLE LOT of THUMP, thump, thumping that would ABOUND, the man couldn’t help but GRUNT as he caught an EYEFUL of the building going on…🤦🏻‍♂️

    🐶The litter was an EYEFUL, six puppies did ABOUND,
    And gathering around them is where the kids were found…
    The mother made a low GROWL, as every little THUMP
    Of noise the kids created made the little puppies jump…
    The kids would have to wait a while, and not stir up the pot…
    Despite wanting to get close to the puppies A WHOLE LOT🐶

  4. Good morning. You are right about this one Angela, after a couple of tough ones this was a breeze. The words and cartoon were a snap. You picked a winner for me on song choice as Fats is one of my favorite singers. I have more albums of him than your favorite “The Chairman of the Board”. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  5. Definitely an easy breezy Saturday start of Spring solve.Good news is, we’re back on the road,after our 2 doses of Moderna vaccine, to look after our twin granddaughters Kate and Jane in Dixon.

  7. Hi all – Very quick solve for a Saturday. The answer was obvious – almost a double pun since there’s a HOLE on their LOT, right?
    I saw BOUND and then ABOUND before even trying the UN prefix, and tried the LY suffix before recognizing EYE.

  8. Hi everyone. Haven’t posted in a very long time. The puzzle today was a breeze. Got it without doing the puzzle itself. This has been a terrible year for all of us and I hope everyone is doing well. I’m going for my second vaccine on Monday and can’t wait to get it.
