  1. Back in stride this morning despite temp of 22 below outside. Fastest anagrams and policy solve in memory. I made it my policy to be limber of mind and not mince but to stomp to success because time is money. Enjoyed the quiz. Got 7 of 10 and learned some things. Stay safe and stay warm.

    • Mars is typically -81, so -22 should feel like a warm spell!
Those double-digit plunges are no joke, though. Stay warm, and great job on the quiz! 🙂

  2. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…⏰🙋🏻‍♀️

💪🏻 Bearing in mind that TIME IS MONEY, and not being one to MINCE words, he adopted a POLICY of staying LIMBER, in order to STOMP out his competition…💪🏻

🧄🍯 He started with a garlic MINCE, his POLICY …”Do spice”
And then he’d STOMP some olives, letting juices flow so nice…
With LIMBER hands he mixed it up…and then he added HONEY
And all the time watching the clock, since he knew TIME IS MONEY! 🍯🧄

  3. ⏰ THE ORIGINAL TIK TOK! ⏰

🎶 TIME, TIME, TIME is on my side, yes it is…TIME, TIME, TIME,is on my side, yes it is…🎶 “Time Is On My Side” – The Rolling Stones 1964 https://tinyurl.com/3vdg9424

⏰ The POLICY was “Don’t MINCE words, you’re not here for a romp,
Stay LIMBER ‘cause our mission is to competition STOMP…”
So when they hired the new guy, the Boss said…”Listen, Sonny…
Just dial back your attitude, ‘cause round here TIME IS MONEY”! ⏰

Prayers for everyone in the path of this terrible weather…🙏🏻🙋🏻‍♀️

    • My granddaughter is in Texas visiting a friend, and they are virtually trapped inside w no running hot water, and the streets snow covered, with no plows or salt available to clean them. She wasn’t even going to take a winter coat with her, but at her mother’s insistence did take one.

  4. Good morning. If I didn’t know better I’d swear it was Monday. I breezed right through the words and had a blind solve on the cartoon answer. All this before I finished my cereal with, what else naturally, blueberries. Perfect song choice Angela. The guys are really really young. Time really took a toll on his face. The cruel reality of time. It wears you down. But like the clocks, we keep on ticking and that’s the enjoyment of Family and friends. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

    • Good Morning, Brooklyn. Definitely an easy, breezy one today…And thank you…And yes, they are really very young in this clip. But Mick? Yes, he has taken a lickin’…but he sure keeps on tickin’, right? Time may have taken a toll on his looks, but you gotta’ give him props for his stamina! 😉 Have a good one, Paul. Be well, stay safe…and enjoy your Carnevale tonight! 🍝🍷🙋🏻‍♀️

  5. The pandemic has caused many celebrations this past year to either be cancelled altogether, or terribly scaled back And for many of us, the last time we ALL got together was Carnevale of 2020, February 25th. We over-indulged in good food and drink, and some of us shared a King’s Cake. https://tinyurl.com/unxqoguy Well, today is Carnevale, and pandemic be damned, we’re still going to celebrate as best we can, even if it is only us in our year-long little bubble. So, in case you’re one of the many of us who won’t be finding the Baby in your King Cake today, here’s a clip of a little “King” in his own right… https://tinyurl.com/1i8yllym This little 2-yr old boy brought the house down with his rendition of “Jailhouse Rock”, and I’m pretty sure he’ll bring a smile to your face…making you feel like the King for today, whether you find the Baby or not…Happy Carnevale to all of you who celebrate…Eat, drink, be merry…And enjoy! 🍰🙋🏻‍♀️

  6. Anagrams were a snap, quickly followed by the first 2 words of the cartoon solution,”time is”, but money did give me pause .After about 5 in of snow yesterday thru the night, the temo is above zero and could even approach a balmy(?) double digits.

  7. Solved the anagrams and cartoon answer in record time this morning. Enjoyed the quiz, Mike and learned a few new facts about time. Thanks. Hope all of you are staying safe in all that snow.

  8. No fuss, no muss, no bother! TMSPO slowed me momentarily. Was it a Hardy Boys book that said ‘Time is money, look in the clock ? I only got 50% on the MikeQuiz but enjoyed it. Angela picked a song I love. Good morning all around!

  9. Hi all – No problem with the words. The ‘Y suffix’ overruled the ‘IC suffix’ to show POLICY, and the answer was obvious.

Good wishes to everyone, especially in the snow and deep freeze.

Hey, 90% on the quiz. Ironically missed the true/false #5 (Military Time). I even got the Nursery Rhyme question! 😂

Nice video clip Angela. I never danced much, especially at age 2, but when I was about 9 or 10 our teacher had everyone do something in front of the class; whatever they wanted, so I sang Elvis’ “(You’re So Square) Baby I Don’t Care” which was also from Jailhouse Rock. The only reaction I heard (aside from the polite applause that everyone got) was one girl whisper to another “What did he say?”, so I guess I had his Southern drawl down pretty well. 😂

“Dick Clark knew that TIME IS MONEY, so his POLICY didn’t MINCE any words; if you weren’t LIMBER enough to do the stroll, the twist, the mashed potato, the Bristol STOMP and all the other dances right off the bat, you’d never get on American Bandstand.”

🎵”You don’t know any DANCE STEPS that are new,
But no one else could love me like you do, do, do, do.
I don’t know why my heart flips.
    I only know it does.
I wonder why I love you, baby.
    I guess it’s just because
    You’re so square.
    Baby, I don’t care”🎵

    • LOL! I’m glad you liked it, but Boy…that little William must have inspired you…because you’re dancing as fast as you can here today! 😉 And I was rooting for you to get the Nursery Rhyme question…God knows you’ve had enough practice! 😂😂 Aced the quiz, but then again…I’ve always had pretty decent time management! 😂 Have a good one, Steve. Be well and stay safe….⏰🙋🏻‍♀️

        • YW…And thanks…but the weirdest thing…it’s 48° here right now. I have no idea what’s going on, 🤷🏻‍♀️ but the temp just keeps rising…after we’ve had an ice storm y’day into the overnight that then turned into pouring rain. It’s great in a way, because it’s helping to melt the mounds of snow…but tonight they’re predicting a plunge in temperature…so everything’s going to turn to ice. Can’t win…But after seeing what’s going on across the rest of the country? …I’m definitely counting my blessings…Happy Carnevale, Steve! Enjoy your day…🙋🏻‍♀️

    • You were only about 4,000 years off, Steve! Military Time was invented by the Egyptians during the 11th Egyptian Dynasty….. or roughly 2100 BC. 😂😂😂
The term ‘Military Time’ can be traced back to the early 20th century though.

Awesome Dick Clark sentence. You made him sound like such a divo — or maybe I just took it that way not knowing much about him.

      Happy Tuesday!

      I

          • Can’t say that I did Mike. I thought it would be Rolex given that they also had expensive Hasselblad cameras. But seeing question #6, maybe the answer should have been 42! 😂

              • Now that’s a BIT subtle! 😂 50,000 kudos to you!
You always notice things like the Jumble words being in alphabetical order etc. but I never do.

  10. Easy one today. Makes me think of the fun song Willie Nelson sings, “If You’ve Got the Money, I’ve Got the Time.” Hope Chuck’s granddaughter and all make out OK.
