    🐒 The BOSSY Monkey seems to be the one sitting up high,
    And profits now will need to MINUS what no one can buy…
    The KERNEL of the story here, can hardly go UNSAID,
    This business took a heavy hit, much to the owner’s dread…
    They’ll be no need for questioning, there’s no one need confess
    A case of monkey see and do? A ruined MONKEY BUSINESS! 🐒

    You know it’s funny, but ever since that story line in “Friends”, where Ross adopted Marcel the Monkey… https://tinyurl.com/eb2aorl9 , it’s all I can think of when Monkeys are mentioned. TBH, I’m no fan of Monkeys…That old “More fun than a barrel of Monkeys” thing? It just never seemed to ring true with me. The screeching, the baring of teeth…the “oooh oooh aah aah”… Not my cup of tea. But maybe that’s just me. I only know that…me and a monkey? We’d never be prime mates…

    Anyway, swinging along…Keeping with the pattern of most of the week, we’ve once again come upon a puzzle sans a new word…But three of our anagrams are proving to be. The sole hold out? SYOBS, which we dealt with back on August 5th, 2014. And a stumper? ANIDUS. I don’t want to tell you what I heard being tossed around this morning…Suffice to say, it had a few of the Early Birds up a tree…as these UN words sometimes tend to do. What’s up with these UN words anyway? I’ll just never UNderstand…UNusual, that’s for sure…But they put their heads together, formed that UNified front, and jumped over that hurdle. And the solve? That they peeled right off without a hitch….There was no monkeying around with that!

    So, our cartoon. Today, we’re at the Hakuna Matata Mart. Hakuna Matata, which means “No worries..there are no problems” in Swahili, unfortunately seems to be a misnomer here today. Because from the looks of this place…these four Baboons have left these poor owners not much more than Rhesus Pieces! So I guess it’s not exactly the most ape-propos name for their store now, is it? But seeming to have just come upon the scene, we see them aghast at what they’re finding. And they realize that the reason their store failed was because of…MONKEY BUSINESS! https://tinyurl.com/32gfbmxz …And let’s be honest, you had to see that one coming!

    Jeff’s Gems? We’ve an array of Baboons… https://tinyurl.com/2awageoz, all involved in a different form of mischief…drinking from a bottle, scribbling in a book, playing with a Rubiks Cube, and tearing paper to shreds. On the floor we can see a second bottle that was dropped, a small book, a banana peel and what appears to be an opened, spilled jar of honey…Definitely panda-monium…(oh, sorry…wrong puzzle)! Definitely monkeyshines…But the clincher today? It has to be the baboon owner chastising the drinker by telling him to “quit acting like a human”! Now that’s an origin..al statement!

  3. 🌽 With the majority of the lazy, BOSSY staff at the KERNEL-canning plant dealing in MONKEY BUSINESS, it went UNSAID that MINUS a day or two for illness, he was definitely the best worker they had…🌽

    🖥 He had his good and bad points, and she took it all in stride,
    He’d sometimes be too BOSSY, but she thought to let it slide
    For weeks he’d been distracted, on a KERNEL he had toiled
    Computers were his business, and this program had him foiled…
    It proved to be a MINUS though ‘cause dealing with his stress?
    It went UNSAID that she felt it was all MONKEY BUSINESS…🖥

  4. Good morning. No problem today with the words and after a minute on the cartoon that light bulb went off and I was able to have that blind solve. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe. Enjoyed your song choice with the video Angela. I’m still a kid at heart because I enjoyed that movie.

  9. Hi all – I had to pause at the last word. It almost spelled RADIUS, but NADIUS didn’t make any sense. Then I noticed the UN prefix which showed it. The answer was obvious.

    “Quit acting like humans” is sounding like better and better advice all the time.
    I got a laugh though when I went online and saw the one baboon doing exactly that; solving a Rubik’s Cube. Meanwhile, I was doing the opposite, eating a banana for breakfast.
    I know just enough about Disney movies to have suspected the market name was a Lion King reference (how’m I doing?)

After looking at the cartoon I had the solution but was held in abeyance by ANIDUS… Clever J today what with the monkeys and the name of the market, Jeff and David rule. Now we just need to insert a headless horseman into the Hakuna Matata Market and the week will be compleat!
