  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…

🎶 Sittin’ in the mornin’ sun..I’ll be sittin’ when the evenin’ comes…Watching the ships roll in…Then I watch ’em roll away again, yeah…I’m sittin’ on the DOCK of the BAY…Watchin ‘ the tide roll away, ooh…I’m just sittin’ on the DOCK of the BAY…Wastin’ time…🎶 (“Sittin’ On) The Dock of the Bay” – Otis Redding 1967 https://tinyurl.com/y5vuuw8x

🏠 It’s definitely not a VILLA, but it doesn’t need to be,
It’s just ENOUGH for both of them…the LIGHT, the air..and sea
The house beyond a quiet bay, a dock by which to sit
A better view would be ideal…and they were all for it
They left behind the noise and grime, and opted for serene
No atmosphere that’s CAMPUS-like, ‘stead where nature convenes
So looking to perfect their view…create the ideal trove…
They redesigned things and now have the most charming ALCOVE…🏠

    Bay, Inlet, Cove…WATER you know…🏠🙋🏻‍♀️

    • I have been reading your blog for last few weeks and truly love it! Thanks for taking time to make my morning fun everyday!

      • …And thank you for taking the time to tell us! Enjoy your day! 🏠🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. ☀️ Walking across CAMPUS, under the bright sun LIGHT, he thought of renting the VILLA, strewn with ALCOVE after alcove, and just the thought alone was ENOUGH to make him euphoric…☀️

👩‍❤️‍👨 He got a job off CAMPUS, he scrimped and saved all year,
He almost had ENOUGH this time to finally see way clear…
He promised her a trip abroad, a VILLA’s where they’d stay,
And he could see her face LIGHT up, when these words he would say …
“We’re finally going to Italy, lush vineyards and fruit groves…
And we’ll take in its beauty…looking out from our ALCOVE…”👩‍❤️‍👨

  3. Good morning. Three days in a row on solving both ends of jumble. Gee there really are good fairies. Loved your song choice Angela. Bet you had me in mind with your choice. Thanks for the smile. The man could really sing and play a mean guitar. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

    • LOL! YW…And yes, I did think of you…Have a good one, Paul. Be well and stay safe out there. 🏠🙋🏻‍♀️

  4. We had a different puzzle today in the Hartford Courant in Connecticut I like your better.

  5. Dock of the bay getting me REDDING for my day! A nook to relax in with all clues pointing toward a petite body of water. Just ENOUGH difficulty in one of the words. Enjoyable task on the day after both Dodgers and Lakers win their playoff games.
    Have a good one all….

    • I was REDDING for a good game last night also, but the A’s “came a CROPPER” again. So odd to see the Dodgers in the playoffs and doing well, but not at Dodger Stadium!

      • Totally agree Steve! Adding insult to injury the Astros are playing at Dodger stadium. They have been forbidden to occupy the home teams locker room and all trash can lids have been removed…..

        • Yes, and you may be interested to know (and I had to laugh at) – when the A’s arrived, they were all marveling at how plush the accommodations are, especially compared to the crumbling Coliseum that they’re used to. 😂

  6. Hi all – Saw everything at first glance today. In David’s “Word Search World Traveler’ app game, the subject “Bodies of Water” comes up often, so I’m used to seeing both INLET and COVE quite a bit, which showed the answer.

    Good wishes to everyone.

That was the first song that came to my mind also, Angela. What I like about it the most is the great musicianship of Steve Cropper, leader of the Stax/Volt house band Booker T. and the M.G.’s providing the backup.

“After winning the Nobel Prize, the professor’s teaching load became LIGHT ENOUGH to spend much more time on research in the ALCOVE of his CAMPUS VILLA.”

  7. Another easy one today. So far it’s been a Monday sort of puzzle week. Good wishes to all!
