🤦🏻♂️ Starting to UNPACK his groceries, he realized that he forgot to get YEAST, and blamed it on his stopping to FLIRT with the woman in the VELVET jumpsuit…now proving to be a FAULTY SERVE for sure…🤦🏻♂️
🧁 She had a vintage album from the VELVET Underground,
And waiting for the YEAST to rise, she listened to its sound
But she never considered that the loudness of the drums
Would cause the yeast to fall instead…how could she be so dumb
So now she had to UNPACK all the baking stuff she stored
Annoyed at starting over…she felt tired now and bored
And for a moment thought to FLIRT with whipping up preserves
Instead of baking cupcakes…Would that be a FAULTY SERVE? 🧁

My only problem was when I put down the letters my U V looked like two Vs which had me stuck on the first word until I realized my mistake. Angela I do enjoy Buddy Holly but that buried song, which was another first hearing it should have stayed buried. Sorry about that. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

The answer was easy for me because I played tennis and remember the importance of the toss for the serve. But I had to back into Unpack because I forgot to try the un prefix. Wishing all a great day.
Good morning again. When he began to Unpack the ingredients for his prized winning Velvet cake, he realized he forgot the Yeast. You can’t Flirt with perfection when you haven’t all the items to do so. Take care.

I also had a problem w unpack,as I forgot the un- trick,choosing to start the word w cap instead.But velvet was a snap as were the other anagrams.Given the letters,and the obvious word choice for serve,faulty serve was a quick solve.Stay safe and well out there.
Like others so far it was an easy puzzle this morning. Happy Tuesday to all of you.
Relatively easy although UNPACK did slow me down for a few. The rest of the anagrams were non-problems and I saw my first double V word in a Jumble. I solved the puzzle by finding SERVE and fiddling around with the remaining letters. All said, a cute Jumble for a dismal Tuesday.
Our dirty air continues seemingly unabated in SoCal. Much of the smoke now is coming from some backfires they set. Our never wrong weather casters say there is a chance of rain at the end of this week so I hope not to have to find FAULT with them after the fact!
I think if you wear a mask you are doing it out of respect for those around you, especially those like many of us who are in the at risk age group. I didn’t particularly like gloving and gowning and hand washing during my training but we understood it was to protect the patients not to inconvenience
us. To make the non-wearing of the mask into some grand social media protest movement goes against all I’ve learned in science and medicine.

Random coincidence that I was just thinking of the song “Blue Velvet” yesterday, but an appropriate cartoon with the French Open currently in progress.
I guess I need to brush up on my Buddy Holly – I didn’t recognize that one either (well, I’ve only had about 60 years to hear it!)

Everything went smoothly safe UNPACK. Oh how I would like to UNPACK on-board a cruise ship and FLIRT with freedom! May we discover a vaccine sooner than later. I signed on a cruise for August 2021! A wishful thinking!
