  1. Good Morning, Everyone. 🍂 The Calendar READS October…🍂

🎶 REJOICE…come and lift your hands and…Raise your voice, He is worthy of our praise…REJOICE.. sing of mercies of your King…And with trembling…REJOICE…🎶 “Rejoice” – Dustin Kensrue 2014 https://tinyurl.com/ycmecysf

📚James Joyce, the Irish writer, used IRONY in his tales,
And as can be with characters… some IDIOCY prevails
From Alpha to OMEGA, Joyce wrote of what he knew,
He acted as a JOGGER might…running with lives all through…
In time, his books all favorites, definitely peoples choice…
And once they all had read them, then they happily “RE-JOYCED”! 📚

James? That alone may not have lead you in the WRITE direction, but “Dubliners” https://tinyurl.com/ya454pf9 and “Ulysses”… https://tinyurl.com/oaz93k5? You had to think James Joyce, https://tinyurl.com/khyns8p, the READER of the Pack in the early 1900’s. And it was his NOVEL ideas that led to a BLOOMing success…That Vintage Standing Ashtray? https://tinyurl.com/y7qwgpyt…SMOKING hot..

Be well, Everyone, and stay safe out there…📚🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. ⚾️ There was no one who REJOICED after their favorite team lost the “OMEGA” game, and they blamed it on the IDIOCY of the manager.. the IRONY being that as a JOGGER he was always crowing about coming in first…⚾️

🏋🏻‍♂️🏃🏻They spoke about the IRONY, OMEGA came to mind,
Behavior of such IDIOCY..they’d never seen the kind…
The one who was a JOGGER, the one who lifted weights,
They couldn’t get what happened…Should they chalk it up to fate?
At least they did agree on it…opinions they both voiced
The Sports Club had some work to do before either REJOICED 🏃🏻🏋🏻‍♂️

  3. Good morning. Had slight pause on Idiocy other than that it was clear sailing straight through the cartoon answer. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  4. At first I had Omage but realized I meant homage. Other than that, an easy day, since I know James Joyce,
I can’t recall reading any of his books.
From lounge lizards to James Joyce in one week, that’s the Jumble.

    • Hi Caroline..I think James Joyce would have done justice writing about the Lounge Lizards, considering his take on things…But you’re right..the Jumble can run the gamut! …And soon we’ll have Guest Jumbler Week..which never fails to add some additional flair…Something to look forward to! Be well, Caroline..and stay safe. 📚🙋🏻‍♀️

    • We sure do get a varity here don’t we, although the crew in today’s cartoon look like they could be “literary lounge” lizards.

  5. Another easy one this morning in spite of the quotation marks which often bring a challenge. I always enjoy guest Jumblers week so look forward to it once again. Wishing all of you a good Thursday.

  6. Unlike the JOGGER I didn’t break a sweat this morning working the Jumble. Oddly OMEGA at first escaped me (just had to read AGEMO backwards!) but the double letter trick helped me get the runner in. Irony and Idiocy are not that far apart. Vague memories of reading Ulysses flooded over me.
Looking forward to guest Jumbler week also. Maybe they should give Angela a shot at guest Jumble (or have they already done that???).
    Ciao bellisimos.

  7. We’ve spoken about Christmas Ornaments before, and how some of you, like me, purchase them each year. I buy them for all the members of my immediate family, and I try to make them as personal as possible…like an Eiffel Tower for whoever went to Paris, or a chefs hat for someone who took cooking classes, or a certain breed of dog, for whoever got a new puppy. Well, this year, collectively…we’ve done just about nothing…nothing to write home about anyway…But I think tradition will win out after all…because I’ve found this… https://tinyurl.com/yarkatgo …and it speaks for itself! Plus, it made me laugh!…And I’m thinking some of you may be interested…Might as well make the best of it, right? 🎅🏻🤷🏻‍♀️

      • Hmm..That’s GERMane…but…uh, no! 😂 But you gotta love thIs, with the roll of TP, and the little bottle of hand sanitizer…Too cute…🎅🏻🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Hi all – I’m just having good luck recognizing the words lately. As for the answer, well, you either know it’s James Joyce or you don’t, so it’s either easy or impossible.

I had to laugh at the woman saying “I can’t put it down.” Given that it’s over 700 pages, I’d think that her problem would be picking it up!

    Good wishes to everyone.

“The JOGGER thought it was IDIOCY to label the sections of the race course with letters from Alpha through OMEGA, not recognizing the IRONY in the fact that the term ‘Marathon’ comes from Greek.”

The only Joyce I ever read was “Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man” in high school, and it was so far beyond me that I understood very little and remember nothing.
