    And found him in a lousy mood…and all over a tie…
    Each DIGIT of his hands ran through the mess within his drawer,
    And she was not EXEMPT from his displeasing repertoire…
    She wanted to remind him that he should be hanging ties,
    But knew he’d just OBJECT again…Why? She could not surmise
    So here he stands growing irate…and she thinks…should I chide?
    Maybe not now…but later…when he’s not FIT TO BE TIED! 👔

  2. ⚾️ Despite every Baseball OBJECT his son had, he still badly wanted the Aaron Judge foam DIGIT gavel…so he was FIT TO BE TIED when after standing in line for 20 minutes, a guy jumped in front of him buying the last one…and he turned to his friend and said…“Even here I’m not EXEMPT from aggravation…do you get my DRIFT”? ⚾️

    🤷🏻‍♂️ He thought he’d be EXEMPT from all the questions and the grief,
    He wanted to OBJECT and say he really had a beef…
    But then he saw his boss DRIFT by and thought to hold his tongue,
    The boss held up a DIGIT…as he turned with shoulders swung
    So now he’s thinking…“What the heck”? And feeling crucified…
    He needs to get himself in check…though he’s FIT TO BE TIED! 🤷🏻‍♂️

  3. Good morning. Another Monday jumble on a Thursday. No problem with the words and the cartoon answer was a blind solve. First time hearing that song by Conway Twitty. Was that the B side to one of his hits.? With that joke I thought I heard a Mike drop to the floor Angela. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

When I make myself laugh…I know it’s a groaner! 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ As for the song…it was released as a single after he included it on a Greatest Hits album…Ok song, but not one of his best, IMO.   9. Hi all – Talk about an easy Monday-like puzzle – I think I set a personal best. The entire thing took me 9 seconds. I’ll save that memory for the next time I have to give up on an answer.

    Thanks for jogging my memory again Angela (it’s the only exercise I get these days). The man was ahead of his time – can you imagine Conway Twitty tweeting on Twitter? (I just looked up his real name – Harold Lloyd Jenkins). I certainly remember his #1 hit, “It’s Only Make-Believe.”

    • Hey Steve…That name. You know how it came about, right? Thinking his own name wasn’t catchy enough, he looked at a road map and picked Conway, Arkansas, and Twitty, Texas, and voila! The name Conway Twitty was born…As for his music? You know how it is with Country Music. 90% of the time you can hear your heart cry…For me?   10. Conway Twitty was quite witty, as are you Angela with your ‘dad’ joke! Although OBJECT and EXEMPT briefly slowed me down. A good fish cooking answer could be ‘FIT TO BE FRIED” but save that for another Monday Jumble.
    Got the flu shot yesterday and you all should as well. Still ugly air here in beautiful downtown Burbank but the repatriation orders are going out for some of the fire ravaged neighborhoods. Hope the arsonists and homeless give up on their dirty deeds.

  11. The people who post here are certainly great punsters. I appreciate the laughs; fewer around lately.
    And the (only two so far) old jumbles I’ve seen seem very simple and straightforward by comparison. I love puns, so the newer jumbles are much more my style. The ones so far this week have really been easy, though.
