  1. Good Morning, Everyone… 😷 COVERING ALL THE FACES 😷

🎶 Let me tell ya your love (your love keeps liftin’ me)…Keeps on liftin’ (your love keeps liftin’ me)…HIGHER (liftin’ me, liftin’ me), HIGHER, and HIGHER (higher)…I said your love (your love keeps liftin’ me)…Keeps on (liftin’ me, liftin’ me)….Liftin’ me (liftin’ me) HIGHER and HIGHER…(higher)…🎶 (“Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher – Jackie Wilson 1967 https://tinyurl.com/dy7pyyn

😷 The factory floor’s in full force, business now on the uptick
And the eyes of those front workers have a look very HECTIC
Demand for masks has risen, INCOME don’t come into play,
We all must purchase them to wear, it’s just become the way…
Whether we are a ROVER, or one who stays close to home,
A mask is a necessity wherever we may roam
And Mask Marvels must stay AHEAD to keep pace with the need,
So they’ll be upping employees, production not impede
Immediate future’s telling us that Masks will stay required
And Marvel knows the numbers will go steadily “HIRE” AND “HIRE” 😷

Old words, three new anagrams…and a timely Jumble theme….

Because of what’s now become the norm, today we find ourselves on the production floor of the Mask Marvels Company, watching the assembly line in motion. We see three line workers, and a fourth loading cases onto a truck for delivery. And with the business growing so quickly, we see two members of management discussing the need to double and triple their work force. They’ll be hiring and hiring…and as a result, their employee numbers will be going “HIRE” AND “HIRE”…No cover-up here, Folks…Another great double whammy!

Eye Candy? Besides the witty, whimsical sign showing the company name, Mask Marvels, https://tinyurl.com/y68o9sen, I can’t help but notice how two of our characters are slipping into a precarious situation. The Manager at front, and the sole woman on the assembly line…notice how their masks aren’t completely covering their noses, as properly required? They definitely need to set their sights a little HIGHER…

So, There you have it, Folks. Done. Have a good one…Be well, stay safe…and remember…Mask it…or Casket. We’re all in this together…😷🙋🏻‍♀️

And to you all I wish a Happy Labor Day. 🇺🇸

  2. 🦮 Trying to stay AHEAD of the game when it came to finances was HECTIC with prices constantly getting HIRE AND HIRE, and he realized that having a dog required some disposable INCOME, but the moment he saw ROVER, he was a goner…🦮

🤷🏻‍♀️ He’d always been a ROVER, his life pretty HECTIC,
His attitude chauvinistic…he still called women chicks…
He met a woman recently but definitely ran AHEAD,
“I’m dating a new woman”…to his friends is what he said
But when he asked her what she did…and what her INCOME was,
The woman looked at him and thought…’This guy must have a buzz…
Who comes across this forward…of all men I’ve met prior
No one’s caused my blood pressure to rise so HIGHER AND HIGHER’🤷🏻‍♀️

  3. Good morning. I backed into getting HECTIC. I was stuck so I went to the cartoon and after a quick solve knew the two letters I needed to complete jumble. Enjoyed your song choice. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  4. Rover, rover, come over red Rover, gave me reason to pause, but given the letters, and employee build up,hire and hire popped into my head.Enjoy Labor Day,the popular end of summer.

  5. Jackie Wilson’s ‘Higher and Higher’ is perhaps my favorite song from that epoch of my life. Excellent choice, Angela!
HECTIC almost stumped me but fiddling with the letters gave me an ‘oh wow!’ moment.
The Jumble solution was not much of a challenge. All in all today was harder than most Monday challenges.
Happy Holiday to y’all and see ya Tuesday……

  6. Very appropriate puzzle for this Labor Day. Hectic was jumbled very well. We’ve certainly had a number of puzzles with quotation marks lately, adding a bit more fun to the answer. Hope all of you have a rest from your usual labors today.

    • Good Morning, Betty. I’m with you, I live for a good “Quotation in the Puzzle Rotation”…😉 Hope you’re enjoying your day. Be well and stay safe out there. 😷🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Hi all – I had to pause a bit at ROVER, and then even though the trick of putting IC at the end worked, it still took me a couple of jumbles before I saw HECTIC.
Had to write the letters and cross out the AND to see the answer.

    Good wishes to everyone.

Great Jackie Wilson song Angela, and I can’t think of it without also hearing Van Morrison’s “Jackie Wilson Said.”

“Scouting AHEAD for baseball players who could field the new ROVER positions demanded by analytics was becoming more and more HECTIC, but his success at it did provide him a good INCOME.”

    • Hey Steve. Thanks. And I like your novel use of Rover. 👏🏻. Those analytics, huh? 😉. Have a good one. Be well and stay safe. 😷🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Nobody mentioned the video above the quiz. Very funny! A penguin running with hat and briefcase for Labor Day. Ann
