  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…👨‍👦🙋🏻‍♀️

🎶 My DAD, now here is a man…To me he is ev’rything strong; no he can’t do wrong, my DAD…My DAD…now he understands… when I bring him troubles to share, Oh, he’s always there, my DAD…🎶 “My Dad” – Paul Petersen 1962 https://tinyurl.com/h43wenx

👨‍👦He and his son on Fathers Day, together for a ride,
He did the helmets BUCKLE…and he looked at him with pride…
This time they spend together, it’s so USEFUL to the two,
The Father feels a purr inside, like a KITTEN would do…
The love between the both of them, it truly does EXCEED
Whatever he imagined…his son fills his every need…
His heart tugs for his child, an imaginary STITCH
Would maybe someday warrant…but this life he’d never switch…
No HAZARD stands in their way…it’s a partnership bar none
We wish them all the very best…Cheers!..LIKE FATHER, LIKE “SUN” 👨‍👦

A gift…An easy, breezy, Fathers Day puzzle…And all we had to do was pay attention to what was RIDDEN, and listen to the words SPOKEn by our characters…The Father mentioning how he’s happy to be out enjoying the weather…They’re under the SUN. And the SON in TURN, saying how he wants to be the same as his FATHER…(read: just LIKE him)…And lastly, our question mentioning the bright, clear day..(read: SUNny) …So, wrap it up, Folks…just like the gift it is…LIKE FATHER, LIKE “SUN”. Now how clever is that?

Wishing you all a Happy Fathers Day. Be well and stay safe out there… 👨‍👦🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. The Clock Tower in today’s cartoon. Isn’t it the same one that appeared earlier this week, on Monday?… Take a look …https://tinyurl.com/yavvgb9k. I have an idea as to where and which it might be, but I’m not sure…so I’d rather not tip my hand. (You know I’m a firm believer in close to the vest) 😉 But if any of our readers recognize it, please write in and let me know. Tk you! 🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🐈 The BUCKLE on the collar of the KITTEN didn’t prove very USEFUL, despite the extra STITCH she sewed into it, and she wondered that should the cat run at a speed that would EXCEED what she considered safe, if it’d be a HAZARD…LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON, this cat kept her on her toes! 🐈

🐈 He never did like KITTENs, nothing USEFUL could he see,
They ‘oft times would EXCEED patience, an edgy guy was he…
He thought they posed a HAZARD, he’d seen them climb around.
His friends would speak of all the inane places they’d be found…
His Father shared his disdain, he’d speak of that time when,
A cat had scratched him badly, and a STITCH or two there’d been
So how ironic was it…that he’d BUCKLE both his knees…
When the cat ran and leapt on him…as quickly as a breeze
He had no time to get away, there was nowhere to run…
And now he’s scarred like you know who…Yep…LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON…🐈

  4. Good morning. Happy Fathers Day to all those concerned. After hearing some stories of other guys upbringing, I thank God I had such great parents. I truly was blessed. Today’s jumble was not a problem today. A quick glance had me start from the bottom up this time. I only went back a second time to Stitch but that wasn’t much longer to get. The cartoon answer was close to a blind solve. After looking at the letters the answer appeared. I just had to change the last word to Sun not Son. The answer came to me after doing the kiddie jumble first which I do every Sunday as a warm up. Loved your song choice Angela, I remember that show. Until tomorrow stay well.

    • Hey Paul. Happy Fathers Day. I enjoy the Kids Jumble too…they’re always so cute. Glad you enjoyed my song choice…and I hope you’re enjoying time with your family today. Be well, stay safe…🚴‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️
PS…I left you a message about your song last night…🤷🏻‍♀️

  5. Sweet drawing of father and son. Useful took me the longest. When I first looked at the spaces for the answer, I was worried, and I couldn’t think of what the last three-letter word might be. But I found Father and that led to the rest. Wishing all a happy day.

    • Hi Caroline. Agree…Taking Father out, allowed the rest to fall into place. Hope you’re enjoying your day. Be well, stay safe. 🚴‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️

  6. Hi all – I had to try a few times before seeing STITCH; the rest of the words and answer were quick.

The clock tower was the first thing I noticed Angela. I thought there were extra hints in the picture, but I see from your link that the circular track and two of the same buildings were in the previous puzzle also.

    Good wishes to everyone.

“Although he had gotten USEFUL advice not to EXCEED a safe speed on his bicycle, he didn’t see the HAZARD of a KITTEN in the road, and he needed a STITCH for the cut on his leg from his belt BUCKLE when he swerved and crashed.”

    • Hey Steve. Yep, def looks like the same area….And you’re the only one who knows my thoughts on it! 😉 Have a good one, Steve…Be well and stay safe. 🚴‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️

      • Well then no one knows, because I’ve forgotten them 😂 (Yes, I’m hopeless!)

        • LOL! NP…I have trouble concentrating too lately..But I did have only one guess! 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

  7. Stitch took me the longest to figure out this morning. Cartoon answer was a given. Happy Fathers Day to all you Dads out there and a good Sunday to the rest of you.

    • Good Sunday to you too, Betty. Be well and stay safe out there…🚴‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. No trouble with the words today, but I needed my better half to solve the answer. I enjoyed the Paul Peterson clip, Angela! I enjoyed seeing “Joy Piccolo” (Shelley Fabareas) again. She had a great hit with “Johnny Angel”. Hope everyone has a great Father’s Day.

    • Joy Piccolo! 👏🏻👏🏻 Bravo! Shelly was sooo good in that, right? Such a pretty woman….But I hardly rewatch the movie…I cry like a baby. I’m glad you enjoyed the clip, Elizabeth, thank you for saying. I oft times find myself singing the song in my head…(But that makes me cry too…I’m such a major wuss)! And how wonderful that you’re able to share the puzzle with someone! Doubles the pleasure, right? 😉 Thank you for commenting Elizabeth, and don’t be a stranger…(that line would make a good puzzle solution, no? …David? Are you listening)? 😂 …Wishing you and your Better Half a great day too…and this one’s for you… (I still have the 45)! 🙋🏻‍♀️

    • Elizabeth! I just realized who your “Better Half” is…!!!🤦🏻‍♀️…And yes, he’s a keeper! Sending him special Happy Fathers Day wishes…and all the best to you and yours! Have a wonderful day! 💕🙋🏻‍♀️
