  1. Good Morning, Everyone…Please stay safe out there…💔

You can INHALE what’s around you…it’s the stench of the unrest,
And what’s happening to our country…is so far from our best
The FERVOR that stands justified, should not have caused BISECT,
Because hatred and destruction…it can never be correct…
Why can’t we show our METTLE, keeping peace amongst our ranks?
Small businesses already hurt…now burnt…there is no thanks…
We all live here with our PREFIX…read Afro, DANISH, or Greek,
It’s the part that says American…that’s strong…no place for weak…
A man died for no reason, but two wrongs can’t make a right,
Our communities are part of us…we can’t withstand this fight…
Let us mourn those killed unjustly…but not pick up sword and shield…
That we’ll suffer all the more for it…needs no EXPERT IN HIS FIELD…

RIP George Floyd. May justice be served. And may God help America. 💔🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. Well said, Angela.
Today was a workout for me. I had to slowly back into Danish, Inhale and Bisect, and I wasn’t sure until late whether the three-letter word would be His or The. Wishing all a great, safe day.

  3. Good morning. Well said Angela. My choice for hardest word was Bisect. That was my final word to get which took some time to achieve. The cartoon answer was simple once I realized the three letter word was his and not the. Until tomorrow stay well.

  4. Danish got me as did the final cartoon solution. I was thinking diamond in the rough, rather than expert in his field.I readily agree, looting and rioting is not protesting, and 2 wrongs never have meant a right.

  5. Hi all – I didn’t think the words were all that easy, but I did happen to see them all pretty quickly. The biggest time saver was that I always try ISH as a suffix when I see it, and it showed DANISH. The answer was quick when I noticed that the first word had to begin with a vowel and there was an ‘X’ in the letters, so that showed EXPERT and the rest (along with the old joke about the dairy’s cows being out standing in their field – which I see from your post I mentioned in 2018 also, Angela).

Yes Angela, stay safe yourself, as we are.

    Good wishes to everyone.

“Since he was an EXPERT IN HIS FIELD of baking and had a great FERVOR for food appreciation, he added a PREFIX to his cookbook about having his METTLE tested by seeing a glutton BISECT a DANISH and INHALE it in two seconds.”

  6. Bisect and danish took me the longest but once I figured them out the cartoon answer fell into place easily. Am going to have to remember your “ish” suggestion, Steve. Good one. Hope all of you have a good day.

  7. The first word I originally had as HALINE, but that gave EXPERT IN HIS FELLD. I then quickly got INHALE, giving FIELD.
