  1. Good morning. After looking at today’s jumble I thought it might be Monday not Hump day. But then after I breezed through the words and started the cartoon answer it seemed I couldn’t see the trees in the forest. Most times I can’t think outside the box when it comes to the answers in quotation marks. I looked it up. Last night I realized when looking at yesterday’s I never posted except for a comment to Steve. After finishing both parts I was busy and didn’t get back till late. Until tomorrow stay well.

    • And it was a good reference Paul! (I didn’t reply because it was posted to Chuck, not me)

  2. Good morning again. When push came to Shove , he had the talent and know how to Invent a new Blend of Luxury coffee for market. I heard quite a few places on the video Angela. A few places where relatives live or go to college. Take care.

  3. A relatively easy Hump day puzzle.George Foreman’s grill career pretty much eclipsed his stellar boxing career. Our son had one away at college.

  4. Good Morning, Everyone. I hope you’re all well…🙋🏻

🌟 With his CELEBRITY fading, he knew he needed to INVENT a new image for himself, a BLEND of youth and wisdom…but not having the LUXURY of time, he strove to SHOVE forward immediately…🌟

☕️ She wanted a new coffee BLEND, something real dark and rich,
And wondered could she INVENT one, and then do her own pitch
Coffee to her no LUXURY…she felt it like life’s blood
And wouldn’t let the men SHOVE her aside cause she’s no stud…
Determination she had, and she’d keep integrity
But it would be nice to become Coffee CELEBRITY ☕️

  5. No problem with the words or cartoon answer this morning. Though we never had one, those George Foreman grills were wildly popular. Have a good Wednesday all.

  6. Hi all – No problem with the words, but I was stumped by the answer for awhile by seeing BEST and BEST SELLER. Putting Y at the end and then seeing SELL as the first word gave it to me.

    Good wishes to everyone.

“He tried to INVENT a new craft beer BLEND, but couldn’t SHOVE enough hops into the vat to produce an IPA taste strong enough for the LUXURY market.”

  7. This was bogus! George Foreman was already a celebrity b/4 his invention. I don’t feel so bad this answer stumped me I join with the other 700 people who didn’t get it either.

    • Hi Jane…If I may, you’re missing the whole idea of the pun. The question is stating that he “started PROMOTING his grill”…He had to “SELL” it to the public. No one’s taking from his “celebrity” as a boxer, that he already was….But now with the grill…he became a “SELL” ebrity. Be well, Jane. Stay safe. 🥊🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. I usually solve these in 5-8 minutes. Not bad since I was shot I the head and blown out of a Huey Chopper in Nam! Numbers defy me, but I am still a Spelling Wiz!
