  1. Good Morning, Everyone. Happy April Fools’ Day. Stay safe. 🧟‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️

🧟‍♂️ Sometimes a prank can go wrong and leave someone on the VERGE,
Of crying ‘stead of laughing…with the prank being a scourge…
And here we see mad Frederick just looking for some glee,
As he preys upon his monster, SNAPPY dresser such is he…
KHAKI jacket bursting at the seams…and Carmen Miranda’s BONNET,
His monster really got a shock…he woke and said..”Gosh darnit”!
The makeup adds a special touch…old Frederick did just fine…
The fruits of his labor are shown…we got a PRANKENSTEIN! 🧟‍♂️

Gene Wilder as Dr Frederick “Fronkonsteen”, and Peter Boyle, as the iconic creature, in 1974’s “Young Frankenstein”. https://tinyurl.com/83tqcjn If you’ve managed to IGOR it all these years…this is a perfect time to dig it up and spend an hour and 45 minutes enjoying the incomparable comic genius of Mel Brooks…RITZ one of the funniest things you’ll ever see…Have a peaceful day, Everyone! Stay safe! https://tinyurl.com/wrcm8z7 🧟‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🧟‍♀️ Shopping at the new Halloween pop-up shop, PRANKENSTEIN, she was just on the VERGE of purchasing a SNAPPY silken BONNET, when she eyed another one made of KHAKI…🧟‍♀️

🧟‍♀️ With hair that stood up SNAPPY, and a face the VERGE of fright,
The wife of Monster Frankie was all dressed for her date night…
She bought new shoes of patent, and a KHAKI skirt so chic,
She loved the fashions that she found at Monsters, Inc Boutique…
The BONNET that she’d wear tonight especially made her smile,
It’s not that easy finding one that stands up for a mile…
She hoped her spouse would find her hot, she hoped he’d think her pretty,
She always tried to keep it fresh…and generate electricity…
Excited ‘bout their special night…she hoped her Frank N. Stein,
Appreciated all she did…not think it PRANKENSTEIN! 🧟‍♀️

  3. Good morning. Another day like yesterday. I was stuck on Khaki and went to the cartoon and came up with the answer and now had the three letters needed to get that first word. I think the last time I was unable to get that word. I didn’t wear khakis in the military, we went from dungarees working to dress blues or whites depending on season. Until tomorrow stay well.

  4. I wasn’t stuck on khaki but wasn’t sure of the spelling. It was a double letter day with 2 k’s in khaki,2 e’s in verge,2 n’s in bonnet and 2 p’s in snappy. All went well for me,the 4 anagrams as well as the cartoon solution.I’m just sorry this whole pandemic isn’t just an April Fool’s Day joke.

  5. Hi Everyone –
No problems today. Angela, I enjoyed the Frankenstein dance link very much. Thinking of you, with all that’s going in the NYC area, and others impacted by the pandemic.

    • Hi Caroline. Thank you. I’m thinking of and praying for you and yours too. I hope all is well. I’m glad you enjoyed the movie clip. I hoped it’d bring a smile to us all. Two wonderful talents, IMO..and the movie was a hoot. Anything Mel Brooks touches is a winner in my book. A little trivia…Did you know that when Peter Boyle married his wife Lorraine that John Lennon was the best man? Lorraine had a friendship with Yoko Ono, and as a result the foursome became friends. And with that little bit of knowledge, and $2.75 you can get on the NYC subway….but who’d want to do that? 😉 Be well Caroline, and please stay safe out there…🙏🏻🙋🏻‍♀️

      • Hi Angela,
No, I did not know that about Boyle and Lennon.
We are making out OK here, which I hope is the same for you and everyone.
I read your comment to Betty and just this week saw a reference to paisan in an article. A business in Rochester has been making Dr. Fauci donuts. The owner said he’s an American hero and also a paisano.

      • Hi Caroline. Yes, I saw the donuts on TV. So cute, and such a nice gesture on the part of that business. Dr Fauci has such dedication, he’s a blessing to our country. And a Brooklyn boy to boot! 😉 I hope the bakery does well with its sales. I’m glad you’re doing well, Betty…please stay safe. 🙏🏻🙋🏻‍♀️

      • The donuts are selling very well, though I haven’t tried one yet. I didn’t know Dr. Fauci was from Brooklyn, just like you, Paul and RBG.

      • Ah, you’re a lot more disciplined than I could ever be! I would have had one already! ..Or two! 😉 Yep, Brooklynites all. Dr Fauci, Paul, the Honorable Mrs Gingsburg and I! I’m in very illustrious company! 😉 Hope you have a good night, Caroline. Stay safe. 🙏🏻🙋🏻‍♀️

      • Did you know that when RBG was asked about Notorius B.I.G., from whom she got the nickname, she remarked that they had a lot in common? First, she said, they were both from Brooklyn!

      • LOL! No, I didn’t know that. Funny how for some reason we always seem to lead with that…😉 Civic pride runs deep in Brooklyn…♥️🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Hi all – The third word was the only thing to slow me down today. I took the roundabout route to BONNET by first thinking that if we weren’t locked down, we could get a BENNTO-box lunch in Japantown, BOTTON up our khaki shirts against the fog, and go see the Tony BENNOT statue in Union Square.

I can’t blame the monster for being so ANIMATED after undergoing a TRANSformation like that, even if is a prank. First thing the cartoon reminded me of though was Carmen Miranda. The second thing was the Jacob’s Ladders in the background. Funny that the cartoon should have scientific apparatus, because yesterday I saw a T-shirt for sale that said “Physics — Why s*it does stuff”. 😂 I’d have said “How” instead of “Why”, but it still made me laugh.

“Mediocre minds” on the Carmen Miranda, Angela, but it certainly made your line about “the fruits of his labor” very funny!

    Good wishes to everyone.

“Even if it’s approaching Easter, I’m on the VERGE of getting SNAPPY ‘bout a BONNET made of KHAKI.”

    • LOL! Yeah, Carmen Miranda. She PULPS into my mind every time I buy bananas! 😉 Banana…Chiquita…Carmen. Six degrees of just about anything… 😉 https://tinyurl.com/vzw5hmy
You know I call the Little Ones my Tutti-Fruitties. And they giggle…and are always saying how silly I am “making up all these funny names”… And for the longest time there I’d tell them that it wasn’t me who made them up…Now? With this littlest bunch?…I just take it in stride and let them think what they want. Why burst those little bubbles? 😂 Anyway…this clip? Ever wonder what those choreographers back then were thinking? IDK…but I definitely think they had wayyyy too much time on their hands!🙄 Hope it gives you a chuckle! Stay safe, Steve! 🍌🍌🍌🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Like Chuck I was hoping I’d wake up and someone would call me to tell me that this whole virus was a very bad April Fool Joke. No such luck. I thought it was a cool anagram today. No problem with the words or cartoon solution. And yes, that Young Frankenstein (Frankenstein)movie was priceless – Eyegor /Igor. Madeline Kahn was terrific as well. Take Care All.

  9. Yep…If only we could all wake up from this horrible nightmare, Betty. Madeline Kahn…Another gem taken from us way too soon. She was hysterical in this movie. Hope you’re doing well. Stay safe. 🙏🏻🙋🏻‍♀️
