Good Morning, Everyone!   🎶🗣DE BATE GOES ON…DE BATE GOES ON…🗣🎶

🎶 And I’m SPEECHLESS…Staring at you, standing there in that dress..What it’s doing to me, ain’t a secret…’Cause watching you is all that I can do…And I’m SPEECHLESS…You already know that you’re my weakness… 🎶 “I’m Speechless” – Dan + Shay  2018

🗣 The topic’s definitely timely, we’re knee deep in the SLUDGE,
Election time brings lots of talk…to try and make us budge…
The candidates are out there…they want to CRUSH the scene,
And speak the perfect line they think that we won’t read between…
You have to often wonder who “speaks” and who just “reads”,
Sometimes I laugh just listening…the voice can be a lead…
I wish they’d stick to policy, and stop the calling names,
Like children in a school yard…it’s just wrong, and it’s a SHAME
A PIMPLE on the tapestry of what our country means,
The rhetoric that piles up amounts to hills of beans…
The talking heads need tell us more…and not leave us to guess…
The truth’s not all that hard really…but does leave some SPEECHLESS…🗣

Ok..My song choice. (Seems like I’m posting a lot of disclaimers lately, huh)! But TBT, I‘ve been doing a lot of juggling, and my head’s been running in a million different directions these past few weeks…So even though I’m nailing it with the song’s title..I know it doesn’t seem to fit all that well with todays puzzle theme. But there is a little connection and I think you’ll see…As for me, not only is it such a pretty song, but it’s special..because it was given to me by someone I felt didn’t open up enough…And..Phew! Talk about actions speaking louder than words! Suffice to say, he won!..(And I’m still considering having it bronzed)…Anyway, I hope you enjoy it…

So, we’re starting the week off on a good note. Glaring clues, coming through loud and clear with the dialogue and the question…”Writer”? No one says just “writer”. You know that leading word was left out for a reason…And the politician saying that he don’t know what to say out there on stage? Well…it says it all!

But let me first write a line or two about our words…All seen before, but with brand new anagrams. I didn’t dig all that deep, but I did see that PIMPLE popped up way back in 2011, while it and the other three were all lastly seen in 2018 and ‘19. And they were all easy to read…without any prompts

So, the campaign trail. Or should we say the campaign wail…We’re definitely in the midst of it. And our poor guy today…(who I’ll name Cameron), about to go on stage, just lost his SPEECH writer. Rest assured, that definitely cast a pall on things! Maybe they should just call the rally off? You know, can the date and reschedule? Because both he and the campaign manager definitely look like they’re in shock, with their mouths so agape. Talk about seeing red!?…So who do you think’s in more of a panic? Hmm…She looks very blue, but she’s got a lot LESS to lose…So I think I’ll cast my vote for the politician. He’s gonna have to go out there and speak from the heart…Oh, Cam…paignful huh? SPEECHLESS, indeed!

Eye candy? No contest. The little American flag pin on our guys lapel definitely gets my vote… So, There you have it Folks, Done! Have a great day, Everyone! And let’s be sure to make our voices heard this Election Day. Oh, that connection?…Actions ALWAYS speak louder than words!🗣🙋🏻‍♀️

  1. 🤦🏻‍♂️ It was definitely a SHAME that the pubescent young boy woke up sporting a PIMPLE on the exact day that he was going to ask his CRUSH to the dance…and feeling like SLUDGE, he was SPEECHLESS…🤦🏻‍♂️

🚶🏻‍♂️He hated walking through the SLUDGE, and feeling CRUSH below,
The air also so damp and cold… and he no scarf in tow…
Although the scarf was itchy, and the PIMPLE on his neck,
Got irritated by it…oh my God he felt a wreck…
But Merit Badges did he need, and lest he feel the SHAME,
He has to earn them on this hike, or tarnish his good name…
He wished he had his compass…to alleviate the stress
If only he’d get back to camp…he’d leave them all SPEECHLESS…🚶🏻‍♂️

  3. He was SPEECHLESS when he found out his political opponents were trying to SHAME him and CRUSH his reelection hopes by dragging his reputation through SLUDGE, but he decided it was best to ignore same as he would with a small PIMPLE on his neck.

  4. Hi all – No problem with the puzzle today except for one word – CRUSH took me several tries after trying the usual combos SH, CH, and SR, and thinking USHER for a second.

    Have a great day, everyone!

Angela, your speaker was so shocked he needed a quick trip to the JOHN to compose himself, but I hope when they turn the CAMERON him he SWAYZE audience to his viewpoint.

I hope everyone’s finished their breakfast or lunch, but hey, I didn’t choose the words! “She felt SHAME at having to turn down his date request and CRUSH the poor guy’s hopes, but she was rendered SPEECHLESS by the SLUDGE oozing from the PIMPLE right on his chin.”
