CARTOON ANSWER
:

HE SOLD HIS GRANDDAUGHTER HIS CAR FOR $1, AND THIS MEANT – – –

DR TT ALE HAE ARE GO =
A GREAT DEAL TO HER

Good Morning, Everyone!      🚘 COUPE de GRA…NDPA!  🚘

🎶 Baby you can DRIVE MY CAR…Yes I’m gonna be a star…Baby you can DRIVE MY CAR…And maybe I’LL LOVE YOU…Beep beep’m beep beep yeah…Beep beep’m beep beep yeah…🎶 Drive My Car” – Paul McCartney – The Beatles 1965

🚘 Most kids today can feel a DRENCH with student loans amok,
They’d love to OUTFIT themselves with a car or a small truck
Seems not HUMANE, the struggle to try and make ends meet,
Like being on PAROLE, they hope that they’ll land on their feet…
So Grandpa to the rescue with a set of GLOSSY keys,
Means so much to our girl today, we see how much she’s pleased
And he’s one to CAJOLE and say “I’ll help you with a deal”
And what results is happiness for them both we can feel
No worries about payments, no future loan defer…
A Dollar Bill is all it took…that’s A GREAT DEAL TO HER! 🚘

Ok…ok. Don’t panic…Yes, it’s 15 letters, and yes, it’s 5 words, but let’s be honest, at least there’s no quotation marks, right? And what the “A”? Right there you got a given So just slow downback up and read the dialogue…”Fair deal” and “Helps me so much” It’s all ride there! Trust me, it’s a steal…Look, you know me, and you know I’d never steer you wrong, so trust me…This’ll be a walk in the park

So, today once again, we seem to have a new word. And today, once again, I’m gonna say that I could swear we’ve seen the word before. CAJOLE. But after spending so much time searching for it, I almost ran out of gas. And there’s just way too much mapped out for today, for me to get exhausted this early in the game. So I just put the brakes on the search and moved on. You know what I think the problem is though? Just as Steve, one of our daily readers has mentioned, if you’re like us, and do some of David’s other puzzles….http://bit.ly/WordSearchWorldTraveler-Apple….http://bit.ly/JumbleCrossword-Apple….http://bit.ly/JustJumble-Apple….you’re coming across the words heir and there, and I guess after a while it all just gets jumbled up. No pun intended. But anyway, just like y’day, besides a newbie, we have another repeat anagram, SLOYGS, while our remaining words have all had the green light in the past. Also, I think we’re seeing what David had mentioned to us in his video on January 5th. We’re seeing HUMANE again after just three weeks. And if I was driven to give you a stumper today? I think it’d be PAROLE…The Early Birds spent some time on that one..So, with that all locked up, let’s move forward to out cartoon…

With what seems to be a common occurrence nowadays, this morning we’re seeing a ride of passage. I’ve been heiring of so many Grandparents deciding not to take things lying down, and instead of doing the sweet bequeath after they’re gone, are doing it while they’re still standing. (And yes, heir?..puns intended)! So Grandpa giving his car to his granddaughter is to her the Ultima gift! Let’s face it Folks, there’s no way she could afFord it on her own, Edsel a real struggle for some of these kids…and to be getting it dirt Jeep, besides? No wonder she’s so thrilled…She definitely Dodged a bullet…Getting a car for a dollar? What a GREAT DEAL! There’s no way that’ll put a dent in her pocket! And all Grandpa’s asking for in return besides the dollar is a little Karma. “Mercedes…Benz the rules is what I’ve decided…I want to help, and it’s the lease I can do…Just try to Rover ‘round and visit once in a while”… A real Noble gesture, don’t you think? No wonder she loves the guy…you gotta Honda to him! So the bottom line? We’d be Acura in saying that Mercedes just might Chrysler eyes out…because this meant A GREAT DEAL TO HER!

So, eye candy. What can I say? It’s a pretty straight forward panel, Hyundai looked it over a few times. The Crown Royale? Let’s go with the signature Jumble “J” hood ornament. It’s “Just the right touch! So, There you have it, Folks, Done! Have a great day, Everyone! And for those of you who enjoy the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, I hope you’ll enjoy the Oscars tonight. I’ve always wanted to ride a screenplay…but I seem to lack the disciple and the drive that it requires…But who knows? If it’s in the stars…it just might happen one day!🚘🙋🏻‍♀️

  1. 👜 Knowing he didn’t intend to DRENCH the new GLOSSY bag that matched her OUTFIT, she still felt annoyed when he drunkenly tried to CAJOLE her into laughing it off…and considering that he’d only recently been put on PAROLE, she kept telling herself to be a little more HUMANE towards him.. but try as she might, she stayed upset…the bag might be ruined, and it meant A GREAT DEAL TO HER 👜🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 💰She warned her friend be careful, he was still out on PAROLE
She’d always liked the bad boys but she’d often pay the toll…
This guy was just too GLOSSY, and her friend she feared he’d DRENCH,
In promises he’d never keep…there seemed too much suspense
He showered her with gifts galore, an OUTFIT haute couture…
But something didn’t add up…she just failed to see allure…
Her friend called her inHUMANE, to live with such distrust…
    Until the day..no more CAJOLE…embezzlement the bust…
She had to give up all the gifts…the clothes, jewels and furs…
How foolish to have made this man such A GREAT DEAL TO HER 💰🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. *** I was in a rush this morning, and I just realized that I only included the Apple App Store link for the Jumble’s Just Jumble and David’s Word Search World Traveler and Giant Jumble Crossword games this morning. (Since I only use Apple devices, those were the links I had stored). Here’s the links to gain access to the games for Google Play Store, and Amazon App Store.
…And as fellow word lovers, you can always check out David’s other games too. I have six of them installed, and there’s no end to the puzzle pleasure! Enjoy! 🔠🙋🏻‍♀️

  4. Good afternoon. My choice for hardest word is without a doubt Cajole. I’ll be honest and say I never saw that word or heard it before in my life. I finally gave in and looked it up. I still had no idea and checked it’s usage. Don’t think I’ll ever use it in a conversation. I wouldn’t want to sound pretentious among my fellow bocce players. I could hear their minds saying “what the heck did he say”. Angela you were correct about the cartoon answer. Just had to think and not be intimidated by the 15 letters. It came fairly easy. Until tomorrow stay well.

    • ROTFL! So you don’t think you could CAJOLE the Brooklynites into making it a part of their vocabulary? 😂 Touché! 👏🏻👏🏻 Good Afternoon, Paul! …And it’s true…even though at first glance today it might have seemed a little daunting, it was nowhere as bad as it looked. The clues are always somewhere in the dialogue! Enjoy your Sunday, Brooklyn. Have a good one! 🚘🙋🏻‍♀️

  5. Hi all – PAROLE was the word that took extra jumbling today but it showed up when I tried PAR at the beginning. The answer layout gave “A xxx xxx TO HER” and I thought the $1 would put BUCK or BUCKS in the answer, but the correct one appeared quickly. These must be the words coming around too quickly aren’t they? DRENCH, HUMANE and GLOSSY all seem recent.

Angela, I wrote the above paragraph before I read your post. And yes, I do the Just Jumble (when they update it), Word Search World Traveler (with one ‘L’ 😂) and Jumble Giant Crosswords every morning and enjoy them a lot.

    Have a great day, everyone!

“It meant A GREAT DEAL TO HER to not have to CAJOLE the PAROLE officer to do the HUMANE thing and provide new clothes for her hearing when it was the courthouse restroom floor’s GLOSSY wax job that made her slip and DRENCH her only good OUTFIT.”

    • …Wow…That sure is a full SENTENCE…👏🏻👏🏻 But one can’t help but wonder…Where did that Parole Officer get the new clothes from?.. He just happened to have women’s clothes lying around? Just in CASE? 😉 And if we had a DOLLAR for every time we’ve spoken about the games…we’d be RIDING on Easy Street by now! But the words? No. Except for Humane as I mentioned, Drench was in May of ‘19, and Glossy July ‘18. Not exactly Groundhog Day material! 😂😂 Have a great day, Steve! 🚘🙋🏻‍♀️

      • No one said the parole officer was a man, did they? 😉😂
And yes, stuff is Blowing In The Wind right now, and it ain’t “The Answer”! Very strong gusts, but so far, so good.

        • LOL!…Ah, true. I failed to see the forest for the PLEAS! 😉 Something I do tend to be GUILTY of! 😉 And be careful out there…💨💨💨🙋🏻‍♀️

  6. Parole is the word that took me the longest to solve this morning. I actually backed into it after getting the cartoon answer. I too do the Just Jumble and the Jumbled Giant Crosswords every morning but just couldn’t get into the Word Search World Traveler, so pass on that one. Hope all of you have a good Sunday – very windy here this morning.

    • Good Morning, Betty. From my friends input,, I too thought Parole would be the stumper today, but it looks like Cajole is the one picking up speed! As for the 2 games you mentioned…I’m this 🤏🏻 close to finishing them both again..I still haven’t mastered that “pace yourself” thing! 😉 And I think the winds are making the rounds…we’ve had terrible prolonged gusts for days…a lot of downed trees, and power outages…Good luck and be safe. 🚘🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Hi Everyone –
I found Parole and Cajole equally hard and had to back into both.
I don’t think we’ve had much wind the last few days, just snow and ice. The sun finally came out today.

    • Hi Caroline. Looks like those two words are the front runners today, so you’re in good company. The weather’s been so erratic across the whole country…Climate change is no joke…Enjoy the sunshine, and have a great day! 🚘🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Cajole came to me quickly but not so for parole.I thought ride might be in the locution, rather than steal,as in a nice ride.

    • Hey Professor…They both had a few people scratching their heads…Two excellent anagrams…But sorry, I’m not following you with “steal”. What do you mean? 🚘🤷🏻‍♀️

  9. Parole was easy. I know the word cajole but I have never ever heard anyone use it outside of a classroom or in a book. Not an “ordinary word” by any means.

    • Hi Michael. I agree. We see and hear Parole a lot more than we do Cajole…and it did make for a bit of a challenge…but that’s the fun of it, I guess. Keeps us on our toes! Thanks for commenting, and hopefully we’ll hear from you again in the future. Have a great day, Michael! 🙋🏻‍♀️
