All went well this morning, though I wasn’t familiar with prawn as being a real word, and was not sure of the spelling of verbal. But given the letters for the cartoon solution, winner popped into view, quickly followed by ‘bred”.Still on the road but the Ark Dem online puzzle was to the rescue.Warmest Christmas Day ever,60+ degrees in W Central Illinois.
Hi Everyone –
This was one of those Jumble answers that I got but didn’t get. Two hours after finding the solution the word “breadwinner” dawned on me.
My other problem was having to back into denote.
Good morning. Actually had to look up the last two words. I’m still not over shaking my head for missing two simple words. But now the cartoon answer was a different story. Once I had the letters down,Winner stuck out like a sore thumb which left Bred for the remaining word. Until tomorrow stay well.
🛥The VERBAL agreement they had to DENOTE that any PRAWN caught while using his boats would IMPEL the fisherman to pay him a fee, proved to be a definite “BRED” WINNER for Tom…🛥
🐎 To cultivate a racehorse…like this couple – a rare breed,
The money spent adds up real quick…expensive yes, indeed
But if you’re breeding winners, your money’s so well spent,
And winning can IMPEL owners to fell quite Heaven-sent…
They dine on PRAWN and lobster, they live a life of wealth,
With VERBAL praise acknowledging they keep their horses health
One can DENOTE their pleasure, the joy of him and her…
Continuing their running streak with such a “BRED” WINNER 🐎 🙋🏻♀️
Hi all – BELVAR sounded like one of SNL’s Coneheads and caused a pause until I put the V at the beginning, paused seeing TENDON until I saw NOTE and put the DE at the front, and the second word made me wonder – if you wanted to save money on the ingredients for the Feast of the 7 Fishes, would you go to a PRAWN shop? THOROUGH led directly into BRED which showed WINNER.
Have a great day after, everyone!
“They thought the VERBAL agreement to DENOTE the poor sucker as the owner of the failing seafood restaurant would IMPEL him to take on the debt, but he soon realized he was only a PRAWN in their game.
Well, I guess Christmas is over. Peet’s was playing some kind of punk-sounding song, and Safeway had 50% off the merchandise, and had already completely filled their Valentine’s Day candy aisles. I also had to laugh at something I hadn’t seen before – two frozen dinners labeled “70% organic” – for those who just aren’t ready to commit to a 100% healthful lifestyle quite yet I guess! 😂
When are you going to post the Holiday Scramble answers???? Or did I miss it???? Just saying…….🎶🤩☃️⛄💖🤣✌️🖖😎
