Good morning. First off I’d like to wish everybody a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and a healthy New Year. Today’s jumble for me was a challenge. Benign would be my choice for hardest word. Think I had the same trouble last time when I gave up. This time I persevered. The cartoon answer took some time to get too but, when I finally realized the last word was High, the rest followed. Until tomorrow stay well.
And the same to you and yours, Paul. Have a wonderful night! 🎄🙋🏻♀️
Benign was a quick solve for me but I thought big was a 3 letter puzzle solution which held up the cartoon solution.
Another vote here for benign. Had to get out paper and pencil to figure it out. Once I saw high, got the cartoon answer without difficulty. I’d like to wish all my Jumble Buddies out there a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah – Peace and Joy this holiday season. A special Buon Natalie to my fellow paisan, Angela.
Dear Betty…Thank you so much, and I wish you and yours all the blessings for a wondrous Christmas Eve! Tonight I wish for you a stocking filled with gifts, and a heart filled with love! There’s magic in the air! Enjoy! Un saluti dI Natale! Cin Cin! 🍷🎄🙋🏻♀️
Hi all – Got the words, then thought “Town Red” and came close with “Got high”, but had to write the letters to get the answer.
Hey, I can see my old apartment from here! When I lived on the 36th floor in Chicago, the then-John Hancock building was just a few blocks away and very prominent. One Sunday morning, I got a great picture of the Blue Angels flying past and climbing over Lake Michigan with the Hancock building as a background.
Happy Christmas Eve, and also Hanukkah! The double holidays make it especially appropriate for San Francisco’s traditional “Kung Pao Kosher Comedy” shows, with Jewish comedians at a Chinese restaurant, complete with fortune cookies with Yiddish proverbs inside.
“Take yesterday’s leftover Irish ham slices, re-dredge them in RANCH dressing and THYME, and SIMMER them to render any contaminants BENIGN”.
Thank you Steve. And I wish you and yours the Merriest of Christmas Eve’s. 🎄🙋🏻♀️
I’ve also been to the top of the John Hancock Bldg and the Sears Tower for the impressive views of Chicago, below.
Merry Christmas, to you and yours Professor! 🎄🙋🏻♀️
To all our readers celebrating Hanukkah, I wish you a Happy Festival of Lights, and to those who celebrate this miracle that is Christmas, I want to wish you a joyous Christmas Eve, the night of magic.. And a Special Shout Out to David and Jeff for giving us the gift of these wondrous puzzles each and every day. Gentlemen…To you and yours, may you enjoy all the blessings of the Season🍷🙋🏻♀️
🎄🍷The Holidays a special THYME…folks travel near and far,
And maybe some just gather at this Signature Room Bar…
Don’t matter if you’re on a RANCH or high up on a floor,
What matters is the welcome mat that’s found by every door
The smell of dishes SIMMER…sweet music fils our ears,
And everyone is happy and so full of Holiday cheer
With hearts BENIGN and gifts galore, tonight is ever nigh…
And once again we celebrate as we SET THE BAR HIGH 🍷🎄
HI Everyone –
After being stuck awhile on the seemingly easy answer, bar came to mind, then high.
Wishing all who celebrate a Merry Christmas and Happy Hannukah.
Thank you, Caroline. I hope you’re enjoying a wonderful evening. 🍷🙋🏻♀️
