  1. Good morning. Today I’m giving myself four stars because I stuck with todays gem and got everything right. It took me about an hour to solve both ends. The two six letter words took some time with lagoon topping the list. Then on to the cartoon. With all the letters down and continually staring at them I finally saw labor as the first word followed by intensive. A genius answer. Loved her remark she gave her husband. On this pre-Thanksgiving Day have a great one and stay well. To Mike and Angela a special thanks for all you do. Without you guys life would be a lot less fun.

    • Good Morning, Paul …Thank you…And a special thanks to you too. You always put a smile on my face. Wishing you a wonderful day, Brooklyn. 👶🏻🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. Good Morning, Mike and Everyone. Have a great day! 👶🏻🙋🏻‍♀️

🎶 They say we’re young and we don’t know…We won’t find out until we grow…Well I don’t know if all that’s true, ‘cause you got me, and BABY I got you….BABE…I got you BABE……I got you BABE…🎶 “I Got You Babe” – Sonny and Cher 1965 https://tinyurl.com/yapyxju6

👶🏻The first thing that I noticed was Kathy’s tightened grip,
As she is glaring up at Jeff, so stressed by all his lip…
And the REBEL sense she’s feeling…nothing fake, as you can tell,
As he stands upon the VINYL floor…while she’s going thru hell…
His phone in hand for filming? Or braced to make a call?
Perhaps some of his music from the STUDIO…is all?
On her shoulder is his other hand for comfort in a sense,
While he tries to picture a LAGOON, so not to be so tense
But the beads of sweat on Kathy’s brow? No denying she’s defensive…
There is no “we” with this job…it’s all her LABOR INTENSIVE! 👶🏻

  3. 🎤As if it wasn’t LABOR INTENSIVE enough trying to record on VINYL, when he first entered the STUDIO they called him a REBEL, and taunted him with names like…”LAGOON Buffoon”..🎤🙋🏻‍♀️

🎸 He lived too close to the LAGOON, things always felt so damp…
He worried ‘bout his guitars and especially his amps…
The STUDIO was top-notch, but he sees why it’s so cheap,
Without things wrapped in VINYL, they’d be really hard to keep…
They thought he was a REBEL, and that’s why he came out here
When truth be told it was because the price wasn’t so dear…
But now he thinks his frugalness, made him too apprehensive…
And he’s seeing that it’s ending up just more LABOR INTENSIVE 🎸

  4. Hi all – Thought they were BLER-E eyed after having a baby, then LAGOON looked like ANGOLA for a second. Guessed the answer right away.

“What you mean WE?” 😂 They’re off to a promising start!

Mike, you’ve been making me laugh every morning with the sentences in the voting panel.

Angela, you just told me VINYL is making a comeback! I guess in more ways than one. Your description of the studio by the lagoon reminded me of the music documentary “Muscle Shoals”, a really excellent documentary about the Alabama studio that produced so many classic hits.

    Have a great day, everyone!

Chronicle headline of the movie opening this week: “ ‘Knives Out’ offers incisive comedy.” There must be a lot of cutting remarks!

“First doing homework in the STUDIO, then listening to The Crystals sing “He’s a REBEL” on VINYL before going to the drive-in to see “Creature From the Black LAGOON’ – ah, good memories!”
🎵”Just because he doesn’t do what everybody else does
That’s no reason why we can’t share a love
He is always good to me; Good to him, I’ll try to be
Cause he’s no rebel, oh no no, to me (He’s my rebel)”🎵

  5. Labor was a given in the solution before solving any of the anagrams.Studio was looking like studious, but otherwise a snap. We’re off shortly for Dixon and Utica, enjoy the holiday.
