With the visual of the couple in their wedding attire and the cartoon sentence mentioning their anniversary, my first guess was that marriage, love, or some union of the two would be popping up in the solution. MARRIED came together in a flash after staring at the layout for a moment, and with those letters joined together, STILL was all that remained to let this one live happily ever after. If today’s puzzle slowed you down, our nudges were the wedded couple celebrating their 30th anniversary, letting us know they were STILL MARRIED, while the photographer’s warning about the finicky film had the MARRIED couple standing STILL for their picture-perfect present.
