As two people stroll along below, one bird wonders how humans can tolerate walking everywhere, while the other practically mocks them for not being able to soar through the sky. Between the smug commentary, the oversized egos, and the confidence that comes with always being high above the crowd, these feathered critics seem pretty convinced they’re perched far above the rest of us.

Reading through the cartoon at first, I didn’t really have a strong feeling about where the final answer might be headed. After getting through the clue words, the layout did most of the heavy lifting. The word YOU was conveniently spelled out, and once those letters were locked in, DOWN showed up next, making the rest of the answer come together naturally based on the visual of the cartoon.
