  1. Good Morning, Everyone…🪵 WHO WOOD HAVE KNOWN? 🪵

🎶 Come on, Baby, LIGHT MY FIRE …Come on, Baby, light my fire…..Try to set the night on fire…🎶…”Light My Fire” – The Doors 1967  https://tinyurl.com/bdf4f333

🪵Her voice still smooth and SILKY, she’s not getting upset,
But LILAC does have some concern, and a little regret…
They’ll need to BROKER a small deal with clients now that they,
Can’t meet delivery schedules and some orders will delay…
They’re hoping that no GROUCH comes forth, if his order a clog…
Since right now they are finding business does have a BACKLOG …🪵

I’m sure they WOOD rather have a backlog than a lull in business…and I’m sure their loyal customers aren’t going to SPLIT on them that easily…

So…Today…we meet Lilac and her husband, Gomer PILE, owners of “LOGISTICALLY PEAKING”. And fortunately, their Firewood (=LOG) business is on FIRE…with so many orders to deliver this week, that they find themselves BACKed up with fulfilling them all. And obviously their business is a CUT above the rest, since WEIGH too many places today don’t find themselves AXing clients to wait a day or two for delivery… instead, they’re STUMPed for ways to SPARK up interest in their wares…and find themselves PINE-ing for revenue. But not the PILES…they’re definitely bring in the cASH…So finding that their Firewood (=LOG) business is experiencing a delay (=BACK orders) in deliveries?…IGNITE surely be something other business’s LOG for…’Cause this BACKLOG https://tinyurl.com/yfch8wfk the PILES are faced with?…A LOGSury the others wish they could afford…And we’ve started our week off with another easy, breezy puzzle to keep our winning streak aFIRE..Let’s face it…we’re becoming LOGends at this…When you’re HOT, you’re HOT…

Jeff’s💎Gem? The logo on the hats…Wood being split…with a tiny flame on the middle piece…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, Tim, who swears that he’s always had a BURNING desire to own a Firewood Business. But he being one to always BURN his bRIDGES, we figured he was just KINDLING…until he opened one. And of COARSE, no sooner did he start out, that he SPARKed an argument with a distributor over CUTTING corners, and ended up TOAST…with a PILE of debt. But, once again, he’s only himself to FLAME…But acCORDing to him, he and the distributor just weren’t a good MATCH…I swear…LEAF it to him…But as FOREST I’m concerned? …I can’t take much SMORE of it…I’m so tired of his SMOKE and mirrors way of life…and there’s no way I’m going out on a LIMB again to BALE him out with cASH…I’ve gotten BURNED one time too many…and this time I’m really FIRED up…And there’s not MULCH more for me to say to him…It’s KNOT OAK-y anymore, and it just might be time for me to CUT him out of my life…Somehow he just can’t CEDAR the FOREST for the TREES…and I think I’m finally ready to SPLIT…Yep, it’s time to say…”TIM…BER on you’re own now”…🪵🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. AND OUT OF THE ARCHIVES…The puzzle of March 18th, 2015…”The firewood business was doing so well that there was a”…BACKLOG…🔠🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 💐To make up for the BACKLOG, the manager, who was usually a GROUCH, tried to BROKER a deal  by giving her a bouquet of SILKY artificial LILAC and rose flowers…💐

🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♂️The BROKER was a GROUCH for sure, and LILAC all she wore,
With no SILKY demeanor, she often was a bore…
To most of her employees…she seemed always in a fog…
And they blamed her for causing what’s now a huge BACKLOG…🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♀️

  4. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♂️Run a business and often you’ll find,
Issues come up…of all different kind…
But you do what you must…
    To keep from going bust…
And quite often it can be a grind…🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♀️

👀 Never knowing just what may arise,
There are oft times when you can surmise…
    A problem of sorts,
    And so can resort…
To keeping your eye on the prize…👀

💲 So Lilac and Gomer took hold,
Of how their orders would unfold…
    And they’re doing so well,
With the wood that they sell…
That they just may be breaking the mold…💲

🪵This week so many orders came through,
    That ones with deliveries due?…
    Will see a delay,
    And won’t go out today…
So the Piles add them to the queue…🪵

👍🏻A tad worried because they’re so loyal,
    (Their customers rightly are spoiled)…
But they’ll get it all straight,
    Just a matter of wait..
As the Piles continue to toil!👍🏻

  7. Good morning. Another easy start for the work week. After getting the letters down for the cartoon answer and solving it I was annoyed that it wasn’t a blind solve because all the clues were there for it. Enjoyed your run on words as well as the ultimate song choice Angela. Until tomorrow take care.

  8. Almost stumped by the 1 word cartoon answer, but finally got it.Whew! Chuck.

  9. Hi Angela, I believe that the axe splitting the wood (on the hat’s logo) has a wedge holding the kerf to the eye (not a flame). LOL Loved Lilac and Gomer. Brilliant – Dave

  10. Easy Tuesday Jumble. Angela, I enjoyed reading about Cluck Norris and your friends Quack of Dawn. Then I read the lyrics to the Rooster Song. 😂 I’m still laughing about what happened when the Rooster met up with the Aunt. Thank you, Stan
