  1. Good Morning, Everyone ..🕰️THE BIT AND THE PENDULUM 🕰️

🎶 The FUNDAMENTAL things apply, as TIME GOES “BYE*”…🎶..”As Time Goes By” – (with apologies to) Mr Frank Sinatra (original recording 1962) http://tinyurl.com/33rhfzds

🕰️ Never was left in LIMBO, they always cared for it,
A FLEET of clocks they had been through…this one though they stuck with…
The hands sometimes did SHIMMY, but never ran adrift,
Inherited from Grandma…’twas a symbol of her THRIFT…
And all these years they’ve cherished it…loved each and every chime…
So it’s no bother to adjust the clock FROM TIME TO TIME… 🕰️

Considering that Jeff’s chosen to depict our couple as middle-aged, it STANDS to reason that our Grandfather Clock, http://tinyurl.com/4h3revsv having belonged to a Grandmother of one of them, must have been purchased a long TIME ago. Definitely a family HEIRloom…And just as anything that AGES AS TIME GOES BY, it does take a TOLL…So, adjusting it, from ONE TIME to ANOTHER? Literally and figuratively…this says it all…The old clock needed to be reset..FROM TIME TO TIMEhttp://tinyurl.com/32tk2c4z And solving this one today took no TIME at all!

Jeff’s Gem? If you look closely at the FACE of the clock, he’s drawn it to appear as having an eye, and a mouth gaped open, with reverberating lines emanating…. I guess the clock really STRUCK a CHORD…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And today’s puzzle goes to show that while some people might get TICKed off by an old Grandfather clock that loses time, there are those who appreciate the vintage history, and aren’t in the least bit bothered by such MINUTE* issues…And I definitely SECOND that MOTION…🕰️🙋🏻‍♀️

    * (adjective): So small as to verge on insignificance.

  2. 💃🏻🕺🏻She found a LIMBO pole in a THRIFT Shop and recalled how FROM TIME TO TIME the entire FLEET of them would have fun for hours trying to SHIMMY under one…🕺🏻💃🏻

🤷🏻‍♂️The employee who was FLEET of foot offered to clean the mess,
The break-in at the THRIFT Store had them all feeling the stress
Someone did SHIMMY in…now they’re in LIMBO with the crime…
They’re stunned…(although the area had thefts FROM TIME TO TIME)…🤷🏻‍♂️

  3. I am not thirsty at all on this thirsty-Thursday! It has been quenched by todays jumble ! The anagrams didn’t need a FLEET to bring them ! They were such a THRIFT ! I didn’t even have to SHIMMY ! So I stayed in LIMBO and got the jumble ! Talking about clocks gave me TIME and the word (TO) helped in coming up with FROM TIME (TO) TIME ! Great thirsty-Thursday jumble ! This has been a fun week of jumbles and can’t wait to see what’s coming this weekend ! Angela you have got the artists and their songs down with the best vocals that you just don’t hear much anymore ! Mr Sinatra is classic ! So everyone have a great thirsty-Thursday and quench your jumble thirst !!!!!’

  4. Wow…..what a lovely Thirsty Thursday. A blind solve, nice musings, a great song and one sung by Sinatra…all rolled into this morning’s puzzle. Thanks, Angela, you’ve been very vintage on your song selections lately, so I get to hum some melodic tunes while reading your post. Enjoy your day. Terry

    • YW, Terry. Sinatra’s birthday week, so he’s definitely on my mind. Plus this time of year always gets to me…And yes, an easy, breezy one again today. Thank you…🕰️🙋🏻‍♀️

  5. Good morning. Didn’t anyone fall for the trap on the second word being MOBIL. Today you didn’t even have to think on the words it was straight down without hesitation. It was done in seconds but I always double check to see if I am right and to my surprise it was limbo instead. The cartoon answer was a blind solve. From time to time I do come up with one. Another song choice of your favorite Angela. You’ve done well grasshopper. Until tomorrow take care.

    • Good Morning, Paul. Love your “from time to time”…👏🏻👏🏻! Well played. And thank you..Take care…🕰️🙋🏻‍♀️

    • I fell victim to mobil. The letters didn’t fit the answer so I went back and checked the spelling. I’m surprised at myself for not knowing how to spell it. Once corrected, the letters made sense.

  6. I solved the words, and figured the answer was FROM TIME TO TIME, but the letters weren’t there. I found that MOBIL wasn’t right, and quickly found LIMBO. I guess I had to release some gas and stretch a bit in order to solve the puzzle correctly.
    Dennis

  7. An easy peasy Thursday Jumble with a quick solve of the anagrams after I already had a blind solve of the cartoon! Chuck.

  8. 🕰️ With a clock that’s seen so many years,
One expects that there’ll be wear and tear…
    But if it’s treated right,
    You’ll avoid any plight…
And the sweet dulcet sounds you’ll still hear!🕰️

👍🏻 Generations have enjoyed the clock,
Loved the rhythm of its tick and tock,
And the sound of its chime,
    That prove it’s keeping time…
Offers comfort solid as a rock! 👍🏻

❤️ Grandma cherished her clock while still here,
And she willed it to one of her heirs…
    And it’s still going strong,
    Albeit slightly wrong…
    But it’s nothing our couple can’t bear…❤️

👍🏻 So a slight little nudge now and then,
Not that often…but yes, if and when…
And that’s all that it takes,
Not the least of great shakes…
Til it’s running on time once again…👍🏻

🕰️ Yes, our couple is lucky, for sure,
And the old clock they definitely adore…
It stands proud in their home,
    And they’re happy to own…
This heirloom with old world allure 🕰️

    • Once upon a ‘time’ we had 2 old heirloom clocks, an original cuckoo clock and an old mantle sized grandfather clock! Unfortunately we no longer have either one. Chuck.

  9. Solved today’s puzzle in no time at all. I have a Grandfather clock which is my treasure. Betty
