  1. Good Morning, Everyone… 🕺🏻CHECKER OUT! 🕺🏻

    🎶 Ooh yeah, just like this…Come on, little miss…And DO THE TWIST…🎶 …”The Twist” – Chubby Checker 1960 https://tinyurl.com/2b7f6rkp

🕺🏻FILLET and BUTTE and CANVAS?…We’re speaking of a song,
And yes, it had FLOWN up the chart…but these words? They’re just wrong
They won’t fit with our theme today, despite my “dancing” ‘round,
    A “twist”, a turn…I tried my best…but only nonsense found…
A bigger hit for Chubby than it was in ‘58…
The record made him famous…‘twas simply A TWIST OF FATE! 🕺🏻

THE TWIST…. https://tinyurl.com/3vhr9rrv …Sometimes things are just meant to be…you know, FATE…Because while Hank Ballard might have put his heart and SOUL into the original recording…it ended up a “B” side…but it was Chubby Checker… https://tinyurl.com/482aynyy putting his own SPIN on it…whose name became synonymous with both the dance and the recording…Audiences were just completely atTUNED to his cover…

So…1960…Wildwood, NJ…and success really HIT the fans…And while some parents may not have considered it GYRATED, teenagers took to it like bees to MONEY…and Chubby Checker DANCED all the way to the bank! …And all with A TWIST OF FATE! https://tinyurl.com/2s3nnxz6

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And did you know that Mr Checker is still performing?…And yet, after all these years, he still hasn’t been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame..Talk about A lousy TWIST OF FATE…🕺🏻🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🎨 With her hair tied back with a FILLET, she had FLOWN out to capture the beauty of the BUTTE on CANVAS…but A TWIST OF FATE…bad weather on arrival…impeded her getting a clear view…🎨

🤷🏻‍♀️She started to FILLET the beef, when on the TV saw,
A story about Mexico…a BUTTE was the allure…
A plane had FLOWN across the screen…the colors oh so bright,
Like paint upon a CANVAS…the scene showing tonight
Distracted by the story… looks like dinner will be late…
Lost track of time…it happens…it’s just A TWIST OF FATE! 🤷🏻‍♀️

  3. Almost there…I saw the obvious A TWIST OF…and then unscrambled anagrams to finish up. Goodness gratious….need to put that man in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame…and still performing?? Thanks, Angela, for an interesting post. Just love those danceable oldies. Great song and artist to boot. Have a great hump day before Thanksgiving !!! Terry

  4. Wow ! I had just a little hump to get over today , Wednesday ! The anagrams were all good , although one kicked me in the BUTTE ! The rest were good ! The jumble , with Chubby Checker , who is one of the good old rock and roll artists , the first word that came to me was TWIST , and A was in there and OF FATE was left , and a whole lot of shaking going on ! This was a fun and rock and roll memories jumble ! Everyone have a no hump day Wednesday today !!!!!!!

  5. Good morning. Easy Peezy from the words to the cartoon answer. But only a half blind solve like most probably. You made the obvious choice with Chubby Angela for the song. You couldn’t have done any better. Until tomorrow take care.

  6. Another take on the answer would be A TWIST OF FEAT.

Happy Thanksgiving to all the Jumblers.

    Dennis

    • Hi Dennis. While the letters might work, it really wouldn’t describe how things turned out for him. TWIST OF FATE, not only being a common idiom, perfectly defines Mr Checker’s claim to fame. 🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Well, it wasn’t a twist of fate
That makes my post so late
    It was well before dawn
When I was up and gone
Racing right out of the gate

    One small granddaughter sneezin’
    That was actually the reason
To let mom and dad get to work
    Not something they shirk
It was a cold of the winter season!

Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow to US jumblers! If you’re late with your posts I’ll know it’s because you’ve fallen asleep after your turkey. So beat the bird and be up bright and early! I’m sure it will be a gobbler of a jumble tomorrow!
