    Wolfgang Puck such a humble man…despite his renowned fame…
    Nothing SHODDY is about him, no GOATEE does he sport,
    And he does UNLOCK secrets as we see him holding court…
    (I’m nixing SAILOR, TOMCAT…and TOFFEE…might as well,
    I tried to make them work here, but the three just didn’t gel)…
    The bottom line…fine dining…Wolfgang’s definitely no rookie…

  3. 🎨 He considered himself ONE SMART COOKIE, when he repainted the picture of the SHODDY-looking SAILOR with the GOATEE holding the TOMCAT in various shades of TOFFEE…and felt he was finally able to UNLOCK his deepest creativity…🎨

    🗣️The old SAILOR sat on a bench, a TOMCAT by his side,
    His GOATEE looking raggedy…but he still had his pride…
    His clothes, yes…a bit SHODDY, a TOFFEE colored stain,
    Shown on his shirt but through it all, the Sailor did remain…
    Well-spoken and quite cordial…his eyes did UNLOCK the truth,
    That he was of fine character…and needn’t wear a suit…
    And quite often the two young teens decided to play hooky…
    And sit and speak with him knowing that he was ONE SMART COOKIE…🗣️

  4. Welcome Sunday Funday ! However the fun in trying to figure out the jumble and the anagrams ! Three anagrams had me set to sea as a SAILOR and there to get bitten by a TOMCAT and thinking of golf from fridays I thought bit was TEEOFF instead of TOFFEE ! And the jumble with four words , made me hungry and I went without Wolfgang’s food ! This one was a fun one , but required too much thinking for me on this Sunday Funday ! Everyone have a great day !!!!!

  6. Hi Everybody – A tough Sunday challenge. The anagrams took me a very long time. I struggled the most with Sailor and, like Jim, had Teeoff instead of Toffee. The answer came  once I found Cook and figured out where to put the H. I love Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett  together.

  7. One tough Sunday Jumble with sailor looking like solar and then too many letters and the last word in quotes and hyphenated, for me to solve the cartoon. A usual Sunday Jumble failure for me. Chuck.

  8. Thought I had it in the bag with ONE SMART COOK-IE… then unscrambled anagrams except TOMCAT…that’s when I found I needed an “I”…but none to be found. All in all I thought I was fairly successful for a Sunday almost blind solve. Just love any song from Cole Porter’s Anything Goes. Nice choice, Angela. Terry

    That made such a success of Chef Puck
    Not just varied cuisine
    But shrewd sense as we’ve seen
    Made for the goldmine he struck!

    Eateries – they come and they go
    Here today, gone tomorrow you know
    But Puck was a feature
    Businessman and teacher
    And the diners continued to grow

    Well I mean the numbers did grow
    And not extra weight that they show
    Without hesitation
    They make their reservation
    And business has never been slow!

  10. Good morning. Another tough one today. It took me quite some time to get five out of six words. I failed on Toffee. The cartoon answer was even harder so I caved in after awhile. Enjoyed your song choice Angela. Until tomorrow take care.

  11. Like others I paused at sailor and tomcat. Had to resort to paper and pencil to figure out the cartoon answer. Saw cook and then the rest of the words fell into place nicely. It was a good mental workout today. 🧠. Happy Sunday all! Betty
