  1. Good Morning, Everyone… 🪙 COMMON CENTS? 🪙

🎶 Three coins in the fountain,,,Through the ripples how they shine…🎶 “Three Coins in The Fountain” – The Four Aces 1954 https://tinyurl.com/bde6bp4a

🪙 I’ll make this RHYME quick as can be, and put it all to bed,
I’ll start by cutting GIBLET…there’s no way it fits this thread…
We’re at the Mint, we see a man, who shows he has the KNACK,
For running a machine..and making sure things stay on track…
The young boy makes a joke about how he’d like to ACCRUE,
Some of the product being made…sample handful or two
Both he and Dad enjoy seeing how coins flow…it’s a thrill…
And hear about how they are pressed..it’s all “MECHANICKEL”🪙

…And I’m PRESSED for time today too…so I’ll make this as easy and breezy as the solve…

Our question used the words, “5-cent coins” = so we know we’re looking for NICKELs… https://tinyurl.com/yck3tjj4 And we’re given the word MACHINE both there and in our dialogue…Plus PAYing attention to those quotation marks? The machines are…”MECHANICKEL”… https://tinyurl.com/24y3pdcd …And you can take that to the BANK!

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And I’ll leave you with a quick one…What’s one Nickel minus one Nickel?…Oh..forget it…that make no CENTS..🙋🏻‍♀️🪙

  2. 🤦🏻‍♂️Despite having a KNACK for it, he was left with no time to ACCRUE the necessary parts needed for his proposed MECHANICAL project…because for whatever RHYME or reason, he’d chosen to eat a GIBLET dish…and was now sick to his stomach…🤦🏻‍♂️

🤷🏻‍♂️He had a KNACK FOR MAKING RHYME, it started as a child,
He started to ACCRUE some poems…and in a book he filed…
Someone asked him to write some lines ‘bout GIBLET…of all things,
He thought it odd, but sat down…’fore he knew it rhyme took wing
It turned out well…easy in fact…he laughs about it still…
Seems writing rhymes…it’s no big deal…it’s all MECHANICAL …🤷🏻‍♂️

  3. Hello , this is Jim and it’s end of the week Friday ! This one was fun but challenging ! All the anagrams were good to me except ACCRUE it just wasn’t there ! The jumble gave me NICKEL right away and left HMEAC and I couldn’t make it out ! And that cost me a NICKEL ! But it was a fun jumble ! Everyone have a great start to weekend ! And the one nickel gave the other one a high five !

    • I had the same problem today. Got all
The words and for the answer
I got nickel but couldn’t figure out Hemca.

  4. Terry here….like Jim, stumbled big time on ACCRUE. But first, no blind solve, even with NICKLE a part of the solution. Without ACCRUE had to give up and look up answer. Oh well….such is today’s TGIF. Great arrangement of a great song.

  5. These nickel coins bear great weight
With the face, the quote and the date
    We just won’t settle
    For less than heavy metal
    They’re a symbol of our state(s)!

  6. Good morning. It took some time but I finally was able to correctly get all the words. Now the cartoon answer was another story. I also saw nickel but couldn’t put the rest together. Angela, you scored the winning run in the World Series, threw the touchdown pass in the Super Bowl, and the scoring goal in the Stanley Cup final with that terrific song choice. Always loved that song and think of the movie that it was sung in. Until tomorrow take care.

    • LOL! A regular hat trick? Good Morning, Paul…Tk you. It is a pretty piece of music. Be well, take care…🪙🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. The answer is ROOSTER, or rather it is MALE CHICKEN, except that it is two words, not one. This was a hard Jumble, containing words with an H not the first letter or following one of CGPSTW, Y in the middle of a word, a UE not preceded by Q (it is, however, at the end of a word), and an 11-letter non-word ( https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/mechanickel ), a pun on the word MECHANICAL. I found NICKEL but the best I could get out of that was NICKEL CAM HE. I usually find that letter strings in quotes are words, but today was an exception.

    • But what part of a “non-word”…a pun…highlighted by quotation marks doesn’t fit the age-old Jumble mold? Rooster? …Please…Just because one doesn’t get the solve doesn’t mean it “makes no CENTS”…🪙🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Like so many, I figured Nickel but was unable to come up with the answer.
    Caroline

  9. I had the anagrams and the nickel portion of the cartoon answer but couldn’t complete the answer!Wish me luck for tomorrow.
    Chuck.

  10. 🤷🏻‍♂️Funny that it’s worth only 5 cents,
    While a dime, smaller, is 10…so hence…
    It just goes to show,
    Bigger…better? …Not so…
And to some it’s considered quite dense! 🤷🏻‍♂️

3️⃣ Having nothing to do with our states,
Our coins honor our Presidents great…
    And today…number three,
Is the one that we see…
Made it onto the processing plate…3️⃣

🪙 At the mint we see people impressed,
As the making of coins is progressed…
    Done all by a machine,
    Into bins they do glean….
And the pressure of pistons is stressed…🪙

    🦅🦬But it wasn’t always Jefferson,
    Eagle and buffalo first begun….
On the face of our coin,
    Till in ‘38 joined…
With the image that Felix Schlag won…🦬🦅

🪙 It’s the only coin called by it’s name,
Although copper is most of its game…
But that’s not here nor there,
    It’s the 5-cent worth’s fare….
That gives our Nickels their fame! 🪙

  11. ACCRUE was hard today. For the answer, I saw MACHINECKEL or MACHENICKEL, but wasn’t sure which was right. Neither. Words in quotes are usually tricky, like today.
