  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…
    🐌WANT TO SHOW A SLUG WHO’S BOSS? AS-SALT HIM!🐌

🎶Hey SLUG, are you a rug SLUG…Broke your way into my room like you’re a tough bug…🎶 “Hey Slug” – Sarah Maddack 2020 https://tinyurl.com/3uu7jz2p

🐌He read something about himself in comments made on ONLINE,
So sorry now he’d be a GUEST at the next “Wine and Dine” …
The words hard to DIGEST for sure, his anger did EXUDE,
He felt his fellow mollusk out of line and surely rude
And that’s why there was trouble…how the thing started to sprout…
Harsh words at first..and no surprise when then they SLUGGED IT OUT! 🐌

So…Here we have another puzzle giving us amusing anthropomorphic characters. And today, it’s Terrestrial Gastropod Mollusks https://tinyurl.com/m476p8yr Three names and 28 letters…just to define a 4-letter SLUG …SMH! In my opinion? There’s NO way in SHELL that should’ve ever been allowed…

Anyway… here’s the deal. If you knew what a TGM was straight away, you got today’s solve in no SLIME at all. If you didn’t…I think it probably SLOWed you down a bit…or perhaps SLID RIGHT THROUGH YOUR HANDS altogether…CUT and die…(pun intended)…But it’s one or the other. Let’s face it, there’s no beating around the MUSH with this one…You either SQUASHED it…or you didn’t… SNAILed it or not…Stayed the course…or watched it escarGOT…

Two SLUGS, after SHELLing out some harsh words? The TGMs…SLUGGED IT OUT. https://tinyurl.com/ms335cmd …And that’s pretty MULCH all there is to it..

…So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle puts me in mind of a friend of mine who decided to study snails and slugs. He’s been at it for quite a while now though…He’s a SLOW LEARNER…🐌🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🤦🏻‍♂️The GUEST, with a personality hard to DIGEST, and who didn’t EXUDE any warmth to begin with….should have been vetted, since they met him ONLINE…and were faced with their mistake when he SLUGGED IT OUT with the party’s host…🤦🏻‍♂️

🤷🏻‍♂️The ONLINE ad for membership did EXUDE the right tone,
They thought to welcome a new GUEST…though leery of unknowns…
They kept a DIGEST of past tries…so not to have a bout…
Like that time when the newbie and the chairman SLUGGED IT OUT! 🤷🏻‍♂️

  3. 🐌 Yes, they’re wet and they’re slimy, we see,
And unsightly, I’m sure we’d agree,
But on top of it all,
We see they tend to brawl…
Perhaps due to the constant ennui…🐌

🤦🏻‍♀️In your garden you’re apt them to meet,
Serves a strong case ‘gainst walking bare feet…
    Just the touch against skin,
    Can cause heads to tailspin…
With the slime they are known to excrete…🤦🏻‍♀️

🥊 Today we see two slugs acting fool,
Atop water that’s starting to pool…
    And they’re going past words,
    Yes, it’s gotten absurd…
As we see them both losing their cool… 🥊

🤦🏻‍♀️They’re so sticky and and filled with that goo,
Liquid crystal…but ‘tween me and you…
    There’s nothing could be said,
    Would alleviate dread…
Of finding one stuck to your shoe! 🤦🏻‍♀️

👍🏻So they’re slugging it out for the win,
These two mollusks with their slimy skin…
And when all’s said and done,
    Should there remain just one?
I’m okay watching their numbers thin! 👍🏻

  5. I like those puzzles whereby they substitute a complex word for a more common one. This made today’s Jumble a pretty easy one. Soooo, really didn’t need to know what a TGM was, but figured it out with the fight scene. Had to back in ONLINE. All in a day’s work. Thanks for posting, Angela…think I’ll pass on the song, but a good choice, nonetheless !!! Happy TGIF

  6. Well , today was one of those very few jumbles that really did SLOW me down ! And I did not know what a TGM was ! The anagrams were there , but I’m feeling a little sluggish and can’t wait for Saturdays jumble to ease the Slug ! Everyone have a great end of the week day’s Friday!!!!!!!

  7. As our pugilistic name implies
We’re just a couple of guys
    Who like a good fight
First a left, then a right
It should come as no surprise!

  8. Good morning. Very little trouble on either end of jumble. I thought of slugs right away but didn’t get the blind solve. Once I put down the letters it became clear. It put a big smile on my face because I really liked the answer. Here I thought TGM was “Thank Goodness it’s Monday.” Agree with Tcapp’s remark on the song. Loved your posts Angela. Until tomorrow take care.

  9. I was stumped by online but after looking that up the cartoon was a quick solve. Congrats to the Eagles on their win over the Vikings last night!

  10. Yet another easy one today. Only DIGEST wasn’t an instant solve, and the answer had to have SLUG in it. Not a blind solve, though. Fun answer.

  11. I didn’t know what a TGM was but figured that “it” and “out” were the last to words so that left “Slugged” so it was an easy solve after all.
