  3. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Considering all the new members they’d GOTTEN, in an effort to become BETTER ACQUAINTED, they decided to EMBARK on a journey of sorts to UTOPIA…avoiding the ODDITY or two that can occur when one feels the need to POUNCE at initial introductions, but just ends up feeling hit SQUARE in the face with trying to converse with perfect strangers…🤦🏻‍♀️

    🤷🏻‍♂️In order to be fair and SQUARE and not look to EMBARK,
    On what had GOTTEN out of hand last time at the old park,
    UTOPIA their meeting place, it had been now for years,
    The ODDITY though last trip out…ended in boos and jeers…
    No need to POUNCE on what occurred…how things deteriorated…
    They’ll just go much more slower now to get BETTER ACQUAINTED…🤷🏻‍♂️

  5. Found half a blind solve this morning…I think there was a gambling Jumble just awhile back that used BETTOR…so it came to mind again. All the anagrams were speedily solved and that left 10 to 1 odds that remaining letters started with ACQU. so it was an easy puzzle finish up. Here we are mid-August with no heat relief in sight…can only hope that September turns the corner and arrives soon. Have a great Sunday, Angela

    • Hey Terry…BETTOR’s been used many time# before..it makes for an easy pun. But it’s a new solve, and a clever one at that. And yes, the heat is brutal….let’s hope September doesn’t hit us with storms Wishing you a great Sunday, too. 🎲🎲🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. I couldn’t spell acquaintance for that word and was stumped as usual by the first cartoon word in quotes, thus not a Sunday morning Jumble success! I at least was able to solve the “kids Jumble” thanks for sharing that.

  8. It’s Sunday Funday ! We got home late last night cause we were at the casino ourselves ! We didn’t get home till late and just got up to do todays jumble ! When I saw the cartoon and quotation marks on the first first word , and yes we did have it before , I felt like we were still there ! One , very fun and smooth Sunday jumbles for a BETTOR ACQUAINTED ! So everyone have a great Sunday , it’s a beautiful day here in northeast Ohio ! You can bet on it ! Get ready for Monday !!!!!

    The O in “gotten” is circled but there is no O in the answer. “Better acquainted.”

    • There’s no error…The answer to today’s puzzle is: “BETTOR” ACQUAINTED. Had it been Better, there’d be no pun, and hence no need for the quotation marks…🙋🏻‍♀️

    • I too thought the first word was better before I noticed the quotes, but still was stumped by acquainted, thus failing to solve the cartoon.
