    🐜 So here we have some Termites…who love to SCARF down wood,
    We’re having them in STEREO…to me last month was good…
    Enough to deal with these critters, they surely don’t cry WINNER,
    Termites at prowl? Making me feel like losing last night’s dinner
    TOPAZ a gem, but here today it hardly stands a chance..
    No beauty had in dealing with Termites and CARPENTER ANTS! 🐜

    Ok…June 26th, barely three weeks ago, we had Termites encROACHing on our PIECE of mind…having a PIECE of a mint-flavored toothpick with a roach…But did we put up a WALL? No…instead we BIT the bullet and WENT THROUGH it …But c’mon…again today? And this time with ANTS? Jeepers CREEPERS! Let’s be honest here…I’m sure BUGS BUG most people..So WASPS going on? Personally, I really wanted to FLEA…but I DEAD ANT… But I am going on record to say that after this TERM…ITE just may have to go PLANK for a while…I’m just GNAT CUT out for this….

    So… It’s anthropomorphic CARPENTER ANTS https://tinyurl.com/y3xsxzwv on CRAWL today…owners of the “PEST Friends ReFERAL Company”, who have CARVEd out a nice living for themselves. They have a very LARGE following, and they’ve had a lot more months in the BLACK than the RED…And our equally anthropomorphic Termites, https://tinyurl.com/ycx7848h finding themselves GNAWING that they’re coming up PLANK at their present address on WOODbine St, are in the market for a new source of food…So, who else WOOD they call? The HOST busters of course…And they’ve come ARMed with FLOOR plans, ready to get DOWN TO WORK…Two-by-Fours, indeed! NODE doubt about it, Folks…For these Termites, they knew it WOOD pay to INFEST with the CARPENTER ANTS… And we’ve easily taken a BITE out of another one!

  3. 🤦🏻‍♀️The night really proved to be a WINNER when after tearing her TOPAZ SCARF she went downstairs to turn off the STEREO and found CARPENTER ANTS near the basement doorframe…🤦🏻‍♀️

    🐜They kept the age old STEREO, its cabinet door unhinged,
    His parents when they bought it reckoned it to be a binge…
    Expensive then, a SCARF now served to keep the cabinet closed,
    His parents left it…so did he….the sentiment he supposed…
    The scarf smelled of his Mother, TOPAZ perfume still intact,
    The memories made him feel like a WINNER, as a fact….
    But sadly now the time had come to “put on big boy pants”
    (As his wife said)…because the wood? Shows signs of CARPENTER ANTS! 🐜

  4. Welcome Saturday ! This week has not been very good to me , but then it might be that my attention span was not as patient with them ! Todays anagrams were all there for me ! The jumble , I saw ANTS , but thought Estate may be there , but it wasn’t and I gave up ! I hope i can get back my attention and thinking starting tomorrow ! Everyone have a great weekend !!!!!

  5. Hi Everyone – Another easy answer that helped me back into Stereo. I mistakenly had Sortee (sortie), which luckily gave me two of the three letters I needed. Much enjoyed your clever bug puns, Angela. I was just realizing how few bees I’m seeing this year.

  6. After a quick look at the cartoon, thought that ANTS was a given….then CARPENTER popped into my mind for a blind solve. I’ve seen STEREO before, but it befuddled me a little this morning, but still solved it okay. All in all a good Jumble week and will be looking forward to Sunday. Stay cool !!

  7. Thought the cartoon solution was carpenter ‘Stan’ at first but then figured it out! Happy Saturday!

  8. A little harder today, but I solved it pretty quickly. I fumbled around until I saw ‘partner’. With the letters left I saw ANTS, which quickly led to CARPENTER. No problems with the words.

  10. Cute puzzle this morning. Have been tripped up by stereo in the past but got it & the rest of the words and cartoon solution without difficulty today. Have a good Saturday all!
