  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…
💰 SO I GUESS THERE’S NETTING TO WORRY ABOUT! 💰

🎶 IF YOU’VE GOT THE MONEY Honey I’ve got the time…We’ll go honky tonkin’ and we’ll have a time…We’ll have more fun Baby all way down the line…If you’ve got the money Honey, I’ve got the time…🎶…“If You’ve Got The Money, I’ve Got The Time” – Willie Nelson 1976 https://tinyurl.com/yc75navw

💰To talk ‘bout HITCH a wagon to a star…these two have done,
It’s SWEET when money issues actually amount to none…
The ORIGIN of all their wealth?…It doesn’t tell us here,
Bet you a month of HOAGIE lunches…it might not be clear…
But anyway a mountaintop court with which they do flirt?
You best believe our couple has one hell of HIGH NET WORTH! 💰

So…Today, we’re still “HOMEing” in on a familiar theme…Number 4…And the other day, Saturday, when it was number 2, and I joked about it…who NEW that I was right on the MONEY? On the right TRACT…4 puzzles in 5 days all “Home-owner” related…Just what are we BUILDING UP to here? Hmm…Although it’ll probably be antiCLIMBatic after today…I mean, let’s face it, how much HIGHER can we go with all this…

Anyway…talk about LOFTY ambitions. Not only a huge mountaintop home, but with a tennis court to boot…We’re definitely looking at a LOB of money here…but hey, if money’s no problem, as our girl is saying…I guess what’s not to LOVE?

Ok…Down to brass TRACTS. Our couple today, CASH and CARY FORTUNE, are building a mountaintop home, with a tennis court…And we hear their conTRACTor telling them that unFORTUNEately, there’s a kink with the supports…which through no FAULT of his own, is going to inCREASE the original COST that was quoted beFOREHAND….And whereas most of us NOSE how easy it is to BLEED money when building a house…and how so much of it is a RACQUET…Cary’s not worried, saying it won’t BREAKER the bank, and Cash’s APPROACH is that it’ll just UP the home’s value…So it looks like they’ll SWING it without HOLDing up production…Obviously OVERHEAD doesn’t apply to these two, and they’re SET to MATCH whatever’s SERVEd UP….Yep, it’s a MATCH made in SEVEN…figures that is! And it ALL boils down to this… The main POINT here is… Cash and Cary are just super rich…And for our puzzle today, it works to our ADVANTAGE…The Tennis Court = (needs a) NET, the locale = HIGH and their NET WORTH = HIGHer still…And the Fortunes had a HIGH NET WORTH! https://tinyurl.com/2xb7ca48 Game, Set, Match!

So…There you have it Folks…Done! Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And I always think about what my friend AnNETte said after getting caught IN THE MIDDLE between two tennis players… “Think twice before getting involved…to them LOVE means nothing”…💰🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🥖The assignment was the ORIGIN of the HOAGIE and how the success of it led to a HIGH NET WORTH for its founder…and he thought it’d be SWEET if he could HITCH up with a fellow student to cut the research work in half…🥖

🎶 They thought that Hoagy Carmichael was spelt HOAGIE by mistake,
His real name being Hoagland…not so SWEET a name to take…
He’d HITCH up with Johnny Mercer and the ORIGIN was set,
They composed such beautiful music…hard for people to forget
Their songs all hits and listened to from New York down to Perth…
And their success led to them both having a HIGH NET WORTH! 🎶

  3. Wow ! First Monday in a long time that I hit the net on the jumble ! All the anagrams came to me ! But the jumble , I just couldn’t get ! I was trying to use ING , and then I saw GROWTH , because were talking money ! But I just got lazy I guess ! Suzie tried to help and it was tough for her too ! First Monday in a long time I couldn’t get ! Hopefully I get a big BANG out of tomorrow’s 4th of July ! So happy 4th of July !!!!!

  4. Nice way to start a Monday with a blind solve…but just couldn’t get the last anagram…HOAGIE, to save my live. And I even had the letters. Another good Willie Nelson song…He’ll be singin’ somewhere out here in Texas Hill country for the 4th.

Angela…question? Whenever I am away from usual Jumble source ( local newspaper, delivered online about 0430)…is there another source one can use to bring up the Jumble? And thanks for an easy joke

    • Terry…You can try the Chicago Tribune website, but I don’t know what time they publish it. 🙋🏻‍♀️

      • Thanks…basically, it seems like it must come from a newspaper source.

        • Hi tcapps589 with some navigation you might also try Arkansas democrat gazette jumble, and puzzle society jumble. Works for me

          • Thanks…I’ll see if those might come out earlier in the morning.

        • YW, Terry. There may be some sites out there…Maybe others can offer some help, as Anonymous has…🙋🏻‍♀️

            • YW…I’ll ask around to see if my friends know of anything. I’ve always gotten it trough a newspaper…Sorry I can’t be of more help…🙋🏻‍♀️

              • If you google , todays jumble answers , and look for fortniteinsider.com that will bring up the current jumble and cartoon , like the the paper , that’s what I use !

              • Thanks…I’ll try that next time I’m a few time zones away.

    • San Diego Union Tribune has the daily Jumble – but since it’s West Coast may come out later than other papers.

  5. “Hoagie” just isn’t in my lexicon so I had to look that one up.
Just off to play my own game of tennis, indoors today as we’re having some very wet weather in S. Ontario. Limerick later.

  6. Like others, I thought today was a tough Monday. I finally noticed High and the rest, but I had to back into Hoagie. Before my first Willie Nelson concert, I noticed a woman wearing a shirt with that song title. It was the first sign that the show was going to be a lot of fun.

    • It’s been used a few times before in the Jumble, so I never gave it a second thought. I’m sure if you Googled it you’d be able to find out more about it. 🙋🏻‍♀️

      • Yes, I did that. Looks like Philadelphia area is home to the hoagie however I wondered if any other jumblers might also host the hoagie in their area and could let us know.

  7. Good morning. Unlike the other day where I gave up on the last two words, this time I kept at it and finally got both. No blind solve but I finally got the cartoon answer. Always enjoy a Willie Nelson song Angela. Until tomorrow take care.

  8. A Monday wipeout! Total stump on the hoagie anagram, then too many letters for the cartoon solution. A tough Monday Jumble! Failure all the way around.

  9. Hoagy was the answer in todays crossword puzzle composer Carmichael so when it was Hoagie in the jumble, I was thrown for a loop.

  10. Had to resort to paper and pencil to figure out hoagie – and put on my thinking 🧢 to figure out the cartoon answer but eventually was successful. Happy Monday all!

  11. ORIGIN and HOAGIE both took some effort today. Here in California, hoagie isn’t used at all-unless you are from the Philadelphia area. For the answer, I mistakenly switched the third and fourth words when I used the letters. It took a while to realize my mistake. After I fixed it, it was an easy solve.

    • There’s a few places in Brooklyn and in the city that advertise their sandwiches as hoagies. 6 of one, half dozen of another…😉..they’re all good eats! 🙋🏻‍♀️

    • PS…By “the city” I mean Manhattan. All 4 of the other boros of NYC refer to Manhattan as the city…🙋🏻‍♀️

  12. All I want to do is get the answer for th jumble, why is it so difficult

  13. As we close our eyes tonight, remember those who have paved the way so that we may sleep in peace…And when we wake up…Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸🙋🏻‍♀️
