When packing up a suitcase…FABRIC’s mostly here nor there…
They don’t DEBATE ‘bout wrinkles, it’s mostly all hodgepodge…
But when it comes to unpacking? Those wrinkles they can’t dodge…
They wouldn’t leave a BAKERY with crumbled cake in tow,
That would be a FIASCO…And yet packing? They just go…
With clothes all thrown together…but is there a LESSON learned?
Most likely not …although our guy does seem to be concerned…
The bottom line…these wrinkles shown in all of our guy’s pieces?
He’ll catch a break…an iron’s there to fight the INCREASED CREASES!🧳
It’s not often that we get a solve that’s just plain old STRAIGHT forward…you know, no punny TWIST or anything…So for a moment there I thought I might have to inCREASE my playing time…but lo and beFOLD…no WRINKLEd brow here…the clues were LAID OUT perfectly! So…let’s SEA how this all unFOLDS…
OK…A couple, CeSEAlia, Ceil for short, and WAVErly, WAVE for short, embarking on a cruise…and obviously they each packed their own suitcases. While we can SEA that Ceil used hangers within her suitcase, making it so easy to just transfer them neatly into the closet WRINKLE free, WAVE took the opposite ROUTE…He did some SLIPshod foldin’ and rollin’ and as a result he’s left with “WRINKLES on almost EVERYTHING”…And that LINE of dialogue right there IRONED it all out for me…EVERYTHING = INCREASED had CREASES…It WRAPPED it all up, and it was smooth SAILING after that…Wave’s bad job resulted in INCREASED CREASES…CASE closed!
…And out there on the water, way off to the left? Yep…Jeff’s Signature Sinking Sailboat…just in CASE you missed it…
So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle brought to mind a guy I used to date who worked in a suitcase factory…Unfortunately there was just no TRAVELING LIGHT with this guy, if you catch my DRIFT…And after a while I just had to end the relationship…I couldn’t deal with all the emotional baggage…🧳 🙋🏻♀️

They didn’t care about the folks who went off on a bender…

Waited too long and then felt time’s crush…

It was a bit of a Sunday struggle today. It might have been easier had I thought of the word “Creases” to help me along…but I didn’t. Regardless, I set out on the anagrams and had to do extra pondering on FABRIC and FIASCO, which slowed me down. Looking at all those letters, didn’t quite know where to start, but finally saw CREASE in the mix. Took out CREASED, then saw CREASE in the remaining letters. Switched a few plurals and past tenses around to finally solve the puzzle. Nice pointing out all the minutia in cartoon, Angela.

Anagrams went well but as usual on a Sunday too many letters for me to solve the cartoon. After looking up the first word, the second word was a quick solve.Enjoy the non real pro football Sunday.
