  1. Good Morning, Everyone…🏔️PARTNERS IN RIME! 🏔️

🎶 If you need me, call me, no matter where you are, no matter how far… AIN’T NO MOUNTAIN HIGH ENOUGH…Ain’t no valley low enough…Ain’t no river wide enough to keep me from you…🎶 “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” – Miss Diana Ross 1970 https://tinyurl.com/2huhemky *

🏔️The wind did THRASH, the cold brutal…but climb is what they did,
The CRISIS back in ‘24 did not deter their bid…
( I’m not sure how to place HALVE, and have it make most sense,
I think I’ll just forsake it…and not worry ‘bout the tense)
They’re tired, their clothes showing GRIME, but to the misbelievers…
Norgay and Hillary reached the top…proved they were HIGH ACHIEVERS! 🏔️

I one time too many CLIMB the stairs, GET TO THE TOP and wonder just what it is I went up there for…and yet this puzzle from May 30th, 2017 https://tinyurl.com/3juvbanr immediately popped into my head. Go figure…The whole idea of things like that do PEAK my interest…and I wonder if that makes me a HIGH ACHIEVER…when it comes to the Jumble…but a scatter-brain when it comes to everything else…Oh well…HIGH-De-Ho…

So…May 29th, 1953…and we see Edmund Hillary https://tinyurl.com/yy8nen69 and Tenzing Norgay https://tinyurl.com/4u8edcj7 HIGH atop Mount Everest… https://tinyurl.com/yck84kpr the Earth’s HIGHest mountain above sea level….where the view is said to be BREATHTAKING…literally! And the cartoon alone is enough to kick my vertigo into a state of HIGH anxiety…But I’ll RISE ABOVE it…and TOP this off…Plain and simple…right there in the dialogue…”hard work”…”pays off”…”risk” = ACHIEVEMENT…And people who’ve ACHIEVED the feat of reaching the summit? https://tinyurl.com/yk7fbhjf Definitely HIGH ACHIEVERS…And that’s the complete LOW DOWN!…And between the vertigo, it being so cold, and my S.O. …HIMALAYAN there, looking so warm and cozy…I think I may just go back to bed…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And I’ll leave you with a little Mt Everest humor…Father: “Son, I hope you’ll follow in my footsteps and escort climbers up Mt Everest”….Son: “SHER, PA”…🏔️🙋🏻‍♀️

    * And yes, Miss Betty…I know exactly what you’re thinking! 😂🙋🏻‍♀️

    I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦

  2. 👍🏻It originally looked like a CRISIS, but as HIGH ACHIEVERS they were able to THRASH out a plan that would HALVE the time it took to remove the GRIME from the old warehouse…👍🏻

🏚️ They would TRASH the competition, they felt it in their souls,
The clean-up too large a CRISIS to work it as a whole…
The grit and GRIME of the old barn…too much and hence the HALVE…
They started out removing the pigs, horses and calves
They armed themselves with buckets, big sponges and a cleaver…
And set-out to prove which group best…both being HIGH ACHIEVERS! 🏚️

  3. Wow ! Got in late , but already had my comment written , thought I’d post it before morning ! This week is probably the toughest week for me getting the jumble and having a couple anagrams ! I really want to be a HIGH ACHIEVER and I hope I am ! The phrase that I remember is Over Achiever , but I thought High then Higher , or High As , but to no avail ! The anagram HALVE stumped me , but I got the rest ! The jumble , I got HIGH right away ! I’m talking about the first word of the jumble , not my condition ! I just couldn’t get that second word ! It was fun though as usual ! So everyone have a great Wednesday and get over the hump !!!!

    • Dialogue, dialogue, dialogue, Jim. All lead to ACHIEVING something…🏔🙋🏻‍♀️

  4. Word Press didn’t take my first post…again…for some reason. Anyway, lots of gems in today’s blogs….Sher, Pa, Himalayen there and Over the Hump.

Managed no blind solve and worrisome that I didn’t find HIGH right away. Solved the Anagrams and pulled out HIGH and the rest was a breeze.

I hope the folks in that part of the world find better ways to dispose of the trash, as mountain climbers leave tons of trash behind…an ecological disaster !!

  5. HIGH seems obvious so I took it out, leaving me with REHVECISA, which anagrams to ACHIEVERS, an obvious solution. But these 9 letters strongly suggest ARCHIVES to me, but that is missing one of the Es. However I find it interesting that one can get to ARCHIVES from ACHIEVERS by deleting a letter. I can now delete the S to get ARCHIVE. How far with this deleting can one go? I found a way of deleting a letter each time creating words along the way to get just a single letter. The result is what I call a word pyramid:
    A
    HA
    RAH
    HARE
    REACH
    ACHIER
    ARCHIVE
    ARCHIVES
    ACHIEVERS

Can one go beyond ACHIEVERS by adding a letter and anagramming to a word? Are there any over-ACHIEVERS out there?

  6. Good morning. Finally I have a win. Just a little hesitation on a couple of words but nothing to gripe about. After putting down the 13 letters I clearly saw High right away. After awhile the remaining letters became clear once it hit me what it was. Jim couldn’t have said it better Angela about your perfect song choice. You threw a touchdown. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

    • Good Morning, Paul. Thank you…Be well and stay safe out there….🏔️🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. No problem with the anagrams but had to resort to paper and pencil go solve the cartoon answer. Figured it would end in “ers” so once I eliminate those letters saw high and that left achieve. You are right, Miss Angela, if it were left up to folks like you and me, Mt. Everest still would be awaiting someone to scale it. I don’t do heights. Yikes! Happy Wednesday all! 🌋

    • The height thing? Never in a million years! But I was referring to something else…Note where the * is…😉🎶🙋🏻‍♀️
