  1. Good Morning, Everyone… 💤 SLEEPLESS IN…THE BATTLE? 💤

    Today’s puzzle takes us into what I think to be the story of Monty Python’s Holy Grail. https://tinyurl.com/yc6v7hvy ..We see King Arthur, played by Graham Chapman, speaking with his KNIGHTS, who are very TIRED from lack of SLEEP…The KNIGHTS, left to right: Eric Idle as Sir Robin, a man who shall remain nameless, but who bears the Signature Jumble “J” encircled in a square upon his chest, and Terry Gilliam as Sir Bors…And our dialogue…”Weary” and “Rest my eyes”… gives us our solve: These men have had many…SLEEPLESS “KNIGHTS” …Easy, breezy…a puzzler’s DREAM…

    Jeff’s Gems? …A sole knight, sword raised, is seen behind the King, while above him, an arrow is seen being projected into the air by a Knight perched at the tower balcony of the Castle. In the background we see a catapult having just fired, and if you look very closely, you’ll note that to its side is an image of the left side rail of a ladder, and three fingers of a left hand can be seen at the top rung, while the right hand, though out of view, is holding a sword aloft…the enemy approaches!!! And at far right a huge arrow is being shot into the air…above the images of four men in battle…Very detailed…Jeff must have worked day and KNIGHT on this one!

    So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And did you know that there were two of King Arthur’s men who stood out for very different reasons? One was full of useless facts and knowledge… the Trivia Knight…and the other’s sole duty was to collect taxes..His name was Sir Charge…💤🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🚰 After having SHAKEN the SPIGOT one time too many, and only succeeded to LOOSEN it more, she began to EXPOSE her total inability to handle the leak…so she sat with her HERBAL tea, and faced the fact that she’d need to ASSIGN a plumber to help…and finally put a stop to the string of SLEEPLESS NIGHTS…🚰

    🤦🏻‍♀️ She’s feeling very SHAKEN, the HERBAL tea useless,
    She feels like she’s a SPIGOT… just looking to confess…
    And let it all just flow on out, LOOSEN the ties that bind,
    And just ASSIGN herself a time to face the music’s grind
    EXPOSE it all…be done with it…let go of what’s now blight…
    And hopefully she’ll be rid of incessant SLEEPLESS NIGHTS….🤦🏻‍♀️

  5. Very well done jumble ! In fact the SLEEPLESS KNIGHTS woke me up ! Very clever jumble ! I had a tough time with HERBAL , SPIGOT , and ASSIGN , but I got the other three ! I really liked the play on words with the jumble ! Great Sunday funday ! Everyone enjoy and have a relaxing Knight of sleep to prepare for Mondays jumble !!!!!!

  7. Good afternoon. Having gotten the words I was stymied at the cartoon answer and not having a lot of time I put it aside and went on my plan for today. Back in the comfort of my home and no longer in need of getting the answer on my own I looked it up. I do enjoy the Everly brothers Angela but never heard this song. Some of the lyrics sounded like singing in the rain, Which I love. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

    • Good Afternoon, Paul. As far as I know, it was never released as a single, so it’s not all that well known. But it is on a few of their albums. And you’re right, it does put one in mind of “Singin’In The Rain”, a favorite of my too. Enjoy your night..Be well and stay safe out there,,,💤🙋🏻‍♀️
